If it were simply to counter the Minister of Supervision, Lin Ke wouldn’t need to go that far, which would reveal the true power of public opinion, though it’s just the tip of the iceberg.
This ti, public opinion could only influence literate lords and nobles; the majority of common people and professionals probably wouldn’t sense much.
Yet, once literacy spreads, public discontent and anger beco a sharp sword blade.
No one can stand against the vast ocean of the populace.
