Great rebellion!
In Yale's eyes, the thick black clouds began to churn, and the ground started to tremble slightly.
Visible to the naked eye, many of Horus's anomalous lifeforms were swarming in from the north.
So appeared strange, so emitted a cry like a baby's wail, and so didn't even have a fixed shape.
Compared to them, the Fungal Worms and Dust Pythons seed relatively normal, at least sowhat resembling Naseng's worms and pythons.
"No! We've never seen anything like this before!"
Gabri exclaid in shock, "How can there be so many?!"
"You're not from Horus, how do you know this isn't normal?" Selas retorted instinctively, anwhile smirking: "Looks like... I can have a big 'feast' now..."
Hesha frowned but said nothing.
Yale then spoke loudly: "Ice Wolf Constellation!"
As his voice fell, the chess piece ford in the sky flickered slightly, then imdiately changed position.
Ice Wolf Constellation!
Everyone's expression changed.
Is this an escape?!
However, Soraka and the others said nothing more, longstanding habits and so blood-stained lessons taught them that the best thing to do at tis like these is to trust Yale.
So run!
Soraka, Xiaoguoren, and Shabi, who had been entangled with the Dust Python, quickly ran towards Yale and the others.
Soraka led the charge, while Xiaoguoren and Shabi guarded the rear.
The others surrounded Yale, and under Yale's skill, their speed increased dramatically.
"Rumble..."
Behind them, countless bizarre Horus lifeforms surged forward.
"These Horus lifeforms are not targeting us."
While escaping, Hesha observed.
"It seems more like sothing is chasing them..." Shabi's voice ca, "Just like... cattle and sheep chased by a tiger!"
Everyone felt a sudden chill.
Chased by a tiger!
They could barely handle one "cow" and one "sheep", let alone a tiger capable of chasing an entire herd.
Run!
Run, run, run!
The group sped through the air under Yale's control, like a dark teor.
Behind them, so faster Horus lifeforms had already overtaken them, and the Dust Python they had engaged with earlier was engulfed by the swarm.

However, not all the Horus lifeforms behind them emitted black gas; so ordinary Horus lifeforms also ran at high speed.
Even when Yale and the others were overtaken, those Horus lifeforms paid no attention to them and passed straight through.
So they weaved through this horde.
Occasionally, so chaotic beasts attempted to prey on them, as the Horus lifeforms had bizarre minds, and it was reasonable to feel hungry while escaping.
But with Shabi and Xiaoguoren guarding the flanks, no Horus lifeform broke through the defenses.
They had been running for about half a day.
The team fled in a straight line, as if pursued by sothing behind them.
Along the way, so humanoid villages were engulfed, and any humanoids unfamiliar with the laws were devoured completely.
However, just as Yale and the others thought they might have to escape for a long while, they saw a blade unexpectedly flying over their heads with a "swoosh".
"Slash!" "Slash!" "Slash!"...
A series of sounds rang out, and a bright path appeared above them.
A multitude of bodies fell from overhead, along with various foul-slling viscera and unknown liquids.
But Hesha easily cleared them away.
The beast horde gradually ca to a halt.
For in front, the deep black blade had just planted itself in the ground, exuding an indescribable atmosphere.
Intimidation!
Just one blade intimidated the entire Horus lifeform swarm.
"Almost..." Soraka stopped and patted his chest fearfully.
"That blade..." Hesha stared at the blade stuck in the soil with a solemn gaze.
"Rember the legend? In this region, there's a Blade Empress!" Gabri chid in.
Selas snorted, "Those humanoids are re ants, they know nothing about an empress; it might just be another powerful humanoid."
"Selas, don't forget you are human too!" Gabri glared at Selas, about to argue, but Yale intervened.
"The Blade Empress might exist..." Yale raised his hand to stop them, "But it's probably not the empress herself here, possibly just her squad hunting for food."
They had been to many places before, gathering much information on the humanoids.
The humanoids here were not like Naseng, who could engage with professions, mages, warriors, and the extraordinary paths.
However, they did have so culture, comrce, economy, just very weak.
More like apes living in the human kingdom's forests.
Thus, they occasionally gathered intel from humanoid villages.
For example... the legend of the Blade Empress!
Their route constantly led in a particular direction, yet they never left the Blade Empress's domain, hearing her legend in every humanoid village.
If it weren't for the oppressive laws and naturally strong lifeforms locally, they'd think they were in a lesser plane nad Blade Plane!
So, the place they were in was indeed the Horus Main Plane, and the area was the Blade Empress's territory!
"The Blade Empress's squad out hunting... should we kill that guard to escape?" Xiaoguoren's figure flickered, she was inquiring Yale.
"That's the only option..." Yale shook his head, about to retrieve his chessboard, when Hesha suddenly said:
"Yale, look at the blade's grip position."
Yale, puzzled, looked over.
The grip appeared ordinary, normally unnoticed.
But upon close inspection, one could see a faint pattern.
It was a human arm with a hand grasping a blade, with three wave-like symbols on the arm.
This seed a simple emblem, but it made Yale's pupils contract, he quickly turned to Hesha: "This... this is..."
Hesha nodded, deeply serious: "This might be the Blade Empress's emblem... but importantly..."
"The Blade Empress is humanoid! And the arm resembles humans'!"
"Moreover..."
"That arm is clearly the Azanen Clan's symbol!"
"Blood turbulence!"
