Now reading: Chapter 161 from Three Alpha Bikers Wants An Open Marriage, a Fantasy novel by Constance Luna.

Caden’s POV

The mont Sebastian stepped into the room, I knew there was definitely going to be a heavy problem.

Even Cane, who was already out of control, seed to pause for a second like his body reacted to the presence before his mind could even process it.

I was still on the ground, struggling to breathe properly, my chest hurting with every movent, but I forced myself to push up slightly, my eyes locking onto Sebastian as he stood there.

His expression was dark, just pure anger, and it was clear he had already decided what this situation ant before even asking anything.

"How dare you hurt the Luna, Cane," he thundered, his voice loud and filled with authority. "How dare you lay your hands on my Luna?"

His words echoed through the room, and I felt my jaw tighten imdiately.

So that was it.

That was what he saw.

Not a son losing control. A an excuse, just like I had expected.

I glanced at our mother quickly.

She was still recovering, her breathing uneven, her hand on her throat where Cane had grabbed her, and I knew instantly how Sebastian had known sothing was wrong.

The bond.

Of course.

He would have felt it.

The mont her life started slipping, he would have sensed it, and that was the only reason he was here now.

Before I could say anything, Cane moved again.

The mont his attention locked onto Sebastian, the tension in his body snapped completely, and he lunged forward without hesitation.

Sebastian didn’t move back.

He stepped forward and the fight started.

Cane’s fist ca first, fast and brutal, aid straight for Sebastian’s head, but Sebastian blocked it easily, grabbing his wrist and twisting it hard before driving his knee into Cane’s side.

The impact was strong, but Cane barely reacted.

Instead, he growled louder, his other hand swinging toward Sebastian, forcing him to step back this ti as the hit just missed his face.

They moved quickly.

Faster than I could fully track.

Hit after hit, strike after strike, both of them not holding back at all.

Cane’s movents were wild, undriven, unpredictable and aggressive.

But Cane was stronger than usual.

The damn thing was pushing him beyond his limits.

He grabbed Sebastian’s arm and slamd him into the wall, the impact shaking the entire room, and for a second, I thought he might actually overpower him.

But Sebastian reacted fast.

He twisted out of his grip and drove his fist into Cane’s face, then again into his ribs, forcing him back a step before coming in again with another strike.

I pushed myself up more, ignoring the pain in my body, my eyes not leaving them.

Sothing was wrong.

Not just with Cane.

But with Sebastian.

There was sothing in the way he was moving, sothing off, sothing I couldn’t fully place until I saw it.

A sharp dagger.

It was in his hand.

Silver.

My chest tightened instantly.

"No—" I started, but I was too late.

Cane lunged again, and this ti Sebastian didn’t block.

He stepped in and drove the dagger straight into Cane’s back.

Cane let out a loud, painful growl, his entire body jerking from the impact as the silver sank into him.

My eyes widened.

"What the hell are you doing!" I shouted, forcing myself up fully despite the pain, my body reacting on instinct.

I moved toward them as fast as I could and shoved Sebastian hard, pushing him away from Cane before he could do anything else.

He staggered back a step, his grip tightening on the dagger as he pulled it free, and the sight of blood imdiately made my chest tighten even more.

"He’s infected!" I snapped. "He’s not in control!"

Sebastian’s eyes shifted to slowly, and there was sothing cold in them.

"I can see that," he said.

"Then stop!" I shot back.

But he didn’t.

Instead, he looked at Cane again, who was struggling to stay upright now, the wound affecting him but not stopping him completely.

"He attacked the Luna," Sebastian said, his voice cold now. "That alone is enough."

"That’s not what this is!" I replied.

He didn’t even look at this ti.

"He’s a threat," he continued, like I hadn’t spoken at all. "To the pack."

My hands clenched into fists.

"This is not about the pack," I said, my voice sharper now. "This is about you so stop this madness father! How could you stab your own son?!"

That got his attention.

His gaze snapped to mine.

"You’re overstepping your boundaries, I’m still the Alpha," he said.

"And you’re trying to kill your heirs," I replied.

Before he could respond, the door burst open again.

Several guards rushed in.

Not the regular ones this ti.

Instead it was the trained ones.

The ones that followed orders without question.

They moved fast, surrounding us imdiately, grabbing Cane first, restraining him as he struggled against them, his growls louder now, more aggressive.

Then they grabbed too.

I tried to pull away, but my body was already weakened, and with multiple hands holding down, I couldn’t break free.

"Let go of !" I snapped, trying again to move.

They didn’t.

Of course they didn’t.

Sebastian straightened slightly, adjusting his stance, the dagger still in his hand, and then he looked at both of us.

And he smiled. A satisfied fucking smile.

"I’ve seen enough," he said.

My chest tightened."What are you doing father?" I asked.

He didn’t answer imdiately.

Instead, he walked forward slowly, his gaze moving between and Cane like he was already making a decision.

"You’ve both shown a clear lack of control," he said.

"That’s not—" I started, but he cut off imdiately.

"You’ve both beco a danger to this pack," he continued.

My stomach dropped.

No.

He wouldn’t.

He wouldn’t go that far.

But the look on his face told everything.

"I am stripping you of your positions," he said.

My eyes widened.

"You don’t have the right—" I snapped.

"I have every right because I am the King" he cut in sharply.

My chest tightened further.

"You are no longer Alphas in Obsidian Veil," he continued.

The words hit hard. Too hard.

"You will be cast out," he added. "Banished as exiles."

Everything inside went still.

"No," I said, shaking my head slightly. "You can’t do that."

"I can," he replied.

"And you will never return," he continued, his tone final. "Unless you wish to face execution."

The room felt colder.

He had planned this.

This wasn’t just about what happened.

Sothing he had been waiting for. Had we been played? Now thinking about it, it was beginning to add up, there was no way Gravemaw rogues would infect Cane without reason, they usually have a purpose if they do sothing, they’re not like normal mindless rogues.

Was this Sebastian getting rid of us?

I looked at our mother quickly.

She stepped forward, her expression filled with disbelief.

"Sebastian, you can’t—" she started.

"Enough," he snapped, cutting her off instantly.

She froze and I clenched my fists.

The way he shut her down without hesitation.

I gritted my teeth.

This was bad. Really bad.

There was only one person who could stand against him right now.

Gunnar.

But he wasn’t here.

And even if he was...

He wasn’t stable either.

I clenched my fists, my mind racing.

He had us.

Completely.

Sebastian stepped forward again, his voice rising slightly as he prepared to make it official.

"I hereby declare—"

A loud crash cut him off.

Sothing slamd hard against the wall behind him, the impact echoing through the room and making everyone turn imdiately.

And then a voice followed.

Sharp. Strong. Filled with authority that always gives hope.

"You’ll be the one getting stripped off instead, Sebastian."
