Indeed, it sounded much more pleasant than His Grace the Duke. Royd thought silently.
In an instant, regaining his composure, Royd looked at the charming smiling woman in front of him and suddenly stood up, "Wait here for a mont." And then he turned and strode away.
What’s happening? At monts like this, shouldn’t a man who confessed first say so sweet nothings to make happy?
Gu Shengyin set down the folding fan in her hand, picked up the tea on the table, and took a sip.

She was still the Oracle of the Water God, who had long fallen into slumber. An Oracle without divine protection could be compared to the Caperna Family’s current situation, where Louis Wise resided.
Not to ntion, now the entire Lotte Empire had slowly begun to consolidate the belief in the Goddess of Nature, which in turn, weakened the influence of other surviving divinities, making Heddy’s life even more difficult.
Driven by the need to survive, it had exhausted all her energy. Forget the ambition that grew in the original plot where she even wanted to replace the Goddess of Nature; now all Heddy wanted was to live a well-fed and comfortable life as before.
