"You’re fucking sick, aren’t you?"

Seeing this, the young man holding the knife glared back and took a few steps forward. He lashed out at Qin Mu, "This hospital is clearly here to scam our money; all their doctors are filthy rich."

"All I wanted was to fight for my rights, what’s wrong with that?"

"And you actually called the police?"

"I’d like to see the police try to arrest when they get here!"

Angry as he was, he still restrained himself, only cursing at Qin Mu and not laying a hand on him.

But Qin Mu raised an eyebrow and said coldly, "So you think fighting for your rights justifies your cris? Do you know how many years you could be sentenced for what you’ve done today?"

The knife-wielding man’s face turned crimson. He laughed in fury and said, "If I didn’t fight for my rights like this, do you think this damn hospital would refund ?"

"I did try to communicate with them first; I asked them for a refund, and they wouldn’t give back a cent!"

"Later, I looked up their scandals online. Two years ago, there was an incident at this hospital where they left a surgical cloth inside a patient."

"Facing such a hospital, this is the only way to make them compromise!"

Speaking of fighting for his rights, he grew even more agitated and aired all the hospital’s dirty laundry once again.

Upon hearing this, the surrounding onlookers showed expressions of surprise and started whispering among themselves.

Yu Gao and the other doctors had stern faces, their expressions grim.

"It’s okay to fight for your rights, but you’ve chosen the wrong way." Qin Mu looked at the young man in his twenties, about his own age, and sighed softly.

He had been observing this incident from the sidelines for so long that he had roughly figured out the cause and effect. The man with the knife had been treated at Sanhe Hospital but saw no results after three months. Consequently, he suspected the hospital’s treatnt was ineffective and demanded a refund. The hospital, however, stated that his treatnt was a six-month course and that it was normal to see no effect at this stage. But the man, having lost trust in the hospital, insisted on the refund. The hospital, adhering to its regulations, refused, which ultimately led to this dical disturbance.

This matter wasn’t a huge deal, but it wasn’t insignificant either. However, the man with the knife’s actions had blown it entirely out of proportion.

"Do you realize that what you’re doing now is a cri?" Qin Mu continued, looking at the young man with the knife.

But the man with the knife, defiant and sneering, retorted, "A cri? Isn’t it their fault in the first place? When the police co, the most they can do is detain for a few days."

Contempt and scorn filled his expression. He completely disregarded the fact that the police were coming.

"A few days?" Qin Mu shook his head and said coldly, "First, you’ve brought people to blockade the hospital entrance and gathered a crowd to make a scene. The situation is serious, and it already constitutes the cri of creating disturbances."

In criminal law, ’creating disturbances’ is a catch-all offense, and many actions can fall under this charge. This is especially true for dical disturbances, which involve public places. Any action that causes trouble in public places is suspected of creating disturbances.

Of course, in legal terms, there are three scenarios under the cri of creating disturbances that do not require occurring in public places: injuring others, destroying property, or brawling. These three actions, even if they occur at ho, can constitute the cri of creating disturbances.

The man’s actions, gathering more than ten people, clearly constituted creating disturbances. From start to finish, the disturbance had lasted more than an hour. Moreover, this is a hospital—a special location—and he was brandishing a knife. The situation has already beco particularly serious. This offense alone is enough to sentence him to more than three years in prison.

"Secondly, you’ve prevented everyone from leaving by blocking the hospital doors, which constitutes the cri of illegal detention." Qin Mu looked at the young man before him with a trace of sympathy.

The cri of illegal detention refers to unlawfully confining another person, thereby infringing upon their freedom of movent. If illegal detention lasts more than twenty-four hours, involves three or more people at once, or occurs three or more tis, it qualifies for prosecution and sentencing.

The knife-wielder’s actions directly trapped everyone inside the hospital, including dical staff and patients. This behavior was extrely reprehensible. Even though the detention had lasted just over an hour, it still constituted illegal detention!
