"The stead dumplings you made this morning?" Aurelia looked at the dumplings on the table, surprised. Steaming dumplings this early in the morning, what ti would you have to get up?
Wait a minute, Mason stayed the night with her; when did he have ti to make the dough rise?
Mason laughed softly at her puzzled face, "The dumplings are from downstairs, the millet porridge I cooked this morning."
Last night she caught a chill, and drinking millet porridge warms the stomach.
Aurelia said, "Oh."
Rembering sothing, she paused mid-drink and looked up at Mason, "The paparazzi know my apartnt address; you went downstairs to get porridge..."
She felt her temples throbbing.
The dia were already focusing on whether she and Mason would get back together, eagerly staking out her ho every day to catch any useful information. And this man just walked right into it.
Bzzz—her phone rang.
The mont she picked up, Amanda Fuller's questioning voice ca through, "Aurelia, did you and Mr. Nightshade get back together?"
Aurelia: "..."
She felt like her head was about to explode.
"If I got back together, I'd definitely tell you, my agent, first. Don't worry, I'm having breakfast now."
Opening the web page, sure enough, Mason going out from her apartnt to buy breakfast that morning had already hit the news headlines.
She rubbed her temples, feeling one wave of trouble after another.
"If you don't like it, I can make the news disappear imdiately," Mason's voice sounded, "but I think, spreading so rumors appropriately can be beneficial for your exposure."
Although she wanted to reach the pinnacle of the entertainnt industry based on her ability, what Mason said was not without reason. Celebrities ultimately beco subjects people talk about, and the more people talk about you, the more famous you beco.
She wanted to secure her position in the entertainnt industry based on her skill, but... with just acting skills, you can win everyone's approval, but you can't capture everyone's attention. A true award-winning actress has extraordinary acting skills and a massive fan base, with each show generating a lot of traffic.
This inevitably requires creating so focal points, directing the public's attention to her.
Aurelia took a deep breath and soon let this matter go.
They only managed to capture Mason appearing around her apartnt, such an ambiguous photo, as long as she didn't co out to explain, there would be no solid evidence.
And she could also say that Mason just happened to have a place at Cloud Pavilion Garden too, or let him clarify that he was just passing by.
Although, given Mason's cold and indifferent deanor, making a public statent with a group of entertainnt people seed highly unlikely.
Before she could finish her breakfast, the phone rang again.
Aurelia glanced at the caller ID, her eyes turning cold, "Hello."
"Aurelia, little Ru didn't co ho last night. Do you know where she went?"
"Why ask if she didn't go ho?" Aurelia said, taking a bite of the stead dumpling.
"Uncle Liu said you called yesterday asking about little Ru." Clara Philips was yelling and clamoring on the phone; Aurelia didn't need to listen closely to know what she was shouting about and chuckled lightly.
Her voice remained calm as usual, "Yes, I wanted to find little Ru yesterday for sothing, but didn't find her at the place Uncle Liu said. What? Little Ru is missing? Didn't Uncle Liu say she was gathering with so friends? You could call a few of her friends to check."
"Okay, Dad knows now. Have you had breakfast? Why didn't you co back yesterday?"
