But he felt comforted.
Comforted that when she felt hurt and was in a bad mood, she chose to snuggle by his side.
Mason Nightshade went around to her side, lifted her out of the car, and shut the door with his knee. She let out a soft murmur in his arms, adjusted her head to a comfortable position, and continued to sleep.
The tension in Mason Nightshade's heart eased, and he exhaled a breath, carrying her upstairs. He easily entered the password and opened the door.
He walked into the bedroom and laid Aurelia Shaw on the bed.
He bent down to take off her shoes and then removed her coat.
He frowned, looking at her clothes for a long ti, hesitated for a mont, but eventually took them all off.
He tossed the dirty clothes into the bathroom, and while taking a shower, he washed her panties too.
He ca out wearing a bathrobe, climbed into bed, and pulled her into his arms.
"Mason."
Half asleep, half awake, Aurelia Shaw mumbled.
Mason Nightshade grunted in his throat, his tone firm, "I'm not leaving tonight."
Aurelia Shaw: "..."
She bit the flesh on his chest, "Just this once."
She hadn't planned on letting him leave anyway.
Tonight, she made an exception to let him act as a heater.
Mason Nightshade let out a low, deep grunt.
Grinding his teeth, "Relying on the fact that I won't touch you today, you're getting out of hand!"
Aurelia Shaw was annoyed.
Her mood was already so bad today, and he couldn't humor her just a little.
In a fit of anger, she bit him again.
Mason Nightshade's gaze turned terrifyingly dark, the fire that had just gone out flared back up, surging from his lower abdon. He tightened his grip on her and lifted her chin, his long, narrow eyes slightly narrowing. His voice was hoarse, and with a restrained warning, he said, "You don't want to sleep tonight, huh?"
Though she was sulking, Aurelia Shaw was too tired at the mont to argue with him. She proactively hugged the man and fell into a deep sleep.

"Ah Ah Ah!" Aurelia Shaw tugged at her hair and crouched down, banging her fists on the ground in frustration.
Aurelia Shaw, are you crazy? No matter how tired you were last night, how could you not even notice this?
She didn't have any defenses in front of Mason Nightshade at all.
Might as well just knock herself out!
Mason Nightshade was making breakfast when he noticed footsteps behind him. He looked up and saw Aurelia Shaw.
She was wearing a gray sweater, loose pants on the bottom, a very casual outfit, and her hair was casually tied into a bun.
It seed that just like she planned yesterday, she really intended to hole up at ho for a few days.
"Co over, breakfast is ready."
