"You hurt Mason? Did you hurt him... a lot?" Aurelia asked. As she asked this, her fingers tightly clenched together, and there was a feeling in her chest that she couldn't quite articulate.
Balthazar glanced at Aurelia and nodded, "Aurelia, be with Mason properly."
"What is this?" Aurelia interrupted him, "Using to compensate Mason?"
"Absolutely not!" Balthazar suddenly raised his head, "Aurelia, you must believe , your father is definitely thinking of your wellbeing. I didn't originally intend for you and Mason to have any contact, but I never expected—never anticipated fate's trickery. If you like Mason, and Mason has co to like you, then this matter is the best choice for you."

Aurelia pressed her lips tightly together. She really wanted to ask what was going on, what her father did that was so serious. Yet, she was afraid of asking the truth, that everything she has held onto for so many years, combining past and present life, might only turn out to be her own misunderstanding.
"So I... misunderstood him?" Aurelia's hands were shaking as she said this, her voice trembling uncontrollably.
Balthazar observed her strange reaction and stood up, walking towards her.
"Aurelia..." He reached out both arms, wanting to embrace her.
Aurelia abruptly turned around and strode out. She needed to see him, now! Imdiately! Right away!
As Aurelia stepped out the door, she ran into Clara and Jovana coming inside.
Clara's face darkened, "Aurelia, you..."
Aurelia ignored her, striding outside, boarded the car, and sped away, pressing the gas pedal!
Clara wanted to say sothing more, but caught a glimpse of Balthazar coming downstairs. Observing his unusual expression, she intentionally rubbed the arm that had been bumped by Aurelia, sighed, "That child Aurelia, she's so reckless."
She lifted her head to look at Balthazar, only to find that he wasn't looking at her at all, but was staring in the direction Aurelia left, motionless.
Clara's eyes darted back and forth between the two directions, wondering: What's going on between these two people?
Aurelia drove to the Nightshade Corporation building, took the elevator straight to the top floor.
