"Amanda Fuller, your hand!" Foster Fuller's deep voice ca through.
Amanda shivered, sneaked a glance at her older brother, and imdiately withdrew her gaze, obediently placing her hand with the IV back on the bed.
"Oh right, Aurelia!" She suddenly rembered and asked worriedly, "How's Eliza Fletcher? Have they found her? Did those people give her any trouble?"
"We've already rescued her, she's fine, you don't need to worry," Aurelia Shaw said, "But in the future, if you encounter such a situation again, you must call . Eliza Fletcher is an artist from my company, you are my agent, you have no responsibility to take care of other artists from my company."
Amanda touched the tip of her nose, "They frightened at the ti, saying that if I told anyone about this, they'd kill her. I was too anxious to rember that they weren't monitoring , so they wouldn't know if I contacted anyone else."
Aurelia Shaw lowered her eyes to look at Amanda's confused and regretful face, recalling mories from a past life — she had seen her before.
After this event...
She had already beco an outstanding top agent. As a little-known actress, she had several encounters with her at events. Back then, she dealt with people so coldly that it was inhuman, like a person without emotions, with no friends around her.
This matter had a big impact on Amanda Fuller. Perhaps in this life, she did not have the factors of her previous life; perhaps the people who hard her had changed. Fortunately, nothing as terrible happened to her.
Amanda saw Aurelia suddenly smile, and was stunned by her beauty. Hadn't she said before? Aurelia should never smile at people! Especially when it's a heartfelt smile, there's an irresistible charm that makes one's gaze stick to her.
How could soone be so good-looking?
Amanda snapped out of it and looked towards her brother, only to see him glance at Aurelia Shaw indifferently, then calmly turn his gaze away, and unconsciously sigh in relief.
Not understanding why he was relieved, she found it strange that her brother was uninterested in a beautiful woman?!
Could it be that her brother is... gay?
Aurelia chatted for a few more sentences when her phone rang.
Mason Nightshade was calling.
She went outside the hospital room and picked up the call, "Hello."
"Where are you?"
"Amanda just woke up, I'm with her."
"Wait for there, don't move, I'll co to you."
"Okay."
Aurelia actually quite enjoyed the feeling of Mason coming to find her. In the past, she was the one running around him, incessantly asking where he was, and then eagerly going to find him.
Now the situation has reversed... hmm, she found she quite enjoyed it.
Footsteps sounded from behind.
Foster Fuller walked out, "Thank you for what you did for Amanda."
Aurelia was surprised he would apologize to her.
A man like Foster Fuller, polite and courteous to others, yet inherently possessing a cool and aloof deanor similar to Mason Nightshade's, and a cold pride that doesn't seem to allow him to bow to anyone.
Although he helped Amanda, firstly because she was involved because of her, and secondly, these were things she should've done, Foster Fuller had thanked her over the phone before. She didn't expect him to thank her in person again.
"You really care for Amanda."
If she weren't really important to him, there's no way he'd bow his head to soone else.
When Foster Fuller ntioned Amanda, a hint of trouble appeared on his face, along with a faint indulgent helplessness.
