Noticing Mason Nightshade approaching, Aurelia Shaw’s pupils shrank, and she picked up the glass shards on the ground, slashing towards him.
"Ah!" Aunt Rong scread in fright, instinctively wanting to stop Aurelia. "Young Madam, you..."
Aurelia only felt soone approaching her, intending to feed her those bitter white pills, so she slashed at them with the glass shards in her hand.
Aunt Rong’s face turned white with fear.
"Aurelia!" Mason Nightshade reached over and grabbed her wrist, but still got cut by the glass shard accidentally.
He stretched out his long arm, pulling her into his embrace. She struggled in his arms, still holding half a glass shard, leaving fine, long scratches across his chest.
Mason Nightshade patiently patted her back, soothing her gently, "No one will hurt you. With here, no one can harm you. Don’t be afraid, I’m here. You’re safe, no one can harm you."
Calming Aurelia down, Mason Nightshade instructed the dazed Aunt Rong, "Go get another glass of water."
Aunt Rong snapped back to her senses, "Oh... okay!" and hurried downstairs.
Soon, Aunt Rong ca back with a glass of water, pouring more pills into the young master’s palm.
"Be good, Aurelia, open your mouth, ah." Mason Nightshade coaxed her patiently, bringing the pills to her lips.
Aurelia clamped her mouth shut, refusing to open it, dodging Mason Nightshade’s hand with the pills in it.
"Be good, Aurelia. You’re sick, and you’ll only get better if you take the dicine," Mason Nightshade coaxed her.
As soon as Aurelia’s jaw relaxed, just as Mason was about to feed her the pills, she suddenly bit down on his hand.
She bit hard, drawing blood that trickled down from the corner of her mouth.
Aunt Rong, watching from the side, winced in pain. The blood flowed out, showing how deep the bite was, yet the young master didn’t even make a sound, as if he hadn’t been bitten.
"Open your mouth, Aurelia, swallow the water. The pills taste bitter in your mouth," Mason Nightshade patiently coaxed her, ignoring the wound on his hand.
Indeed, the pills tasted bitter in her mouth.
Aurelia’s face quickly scrunched into a frown.
She hated this bitter taste the most and imdiately spat out Mason Nightshade’s hand, along with the pills he had managed to get into her mouth.
Upon seeing this, Mason Nightshade’s face darkened slightly.
Just as Aunt Rong thought the young master was finally going to lose his temper, Mason put a pill in his mouth, rolling it with his tongue, pressing the back of Aurelia’s head, and kissed her.
"Mmm..." Aurelia struggled fiercely, this black-hearted doctor not only wanted to harm her but also wanted to take advantage of her!
The glass shard was still clutched in Aurelia’s hand, and in her struggle, it cut Mason Nightshade’s chest again.
Frowning slightly, Mason released her, gripping her wrist tightly, and the glass shard fell from her hand.
He took a sip of water, feeding it into her mouth.
Aurelia realized what he intended to do and refused to open her mouth.
Mason gave her chin a gentle squeeze, easily making her teeth part, and the cool water from his mouth flowed into hers, forcing her to swallow it in gulps, the bitter pill sliding down her throat into her stomach.
Mason didn’t withdraw imdiately but instead cleaned out the bitterness from her mouth before letting her go.
She hated bitterness; in such a scenario, she would absolutely refuse to drink water again, and with the bitter taste lingering in her mouth, she would definitely cry and make a fuss again.
"You shaless bastard, do you think you can make suffer like this? Dream on!" Aurelia was still cursing, and if her hands weren’t held by Mason, she would certainly have lunged at him, baring her teeth and claws.
