How long will you be gone?
Just like last ti, leaving her and never coming back?
He might be her only family left; is he going to leave her alone again?
Detecting the agitation in her voice, Caspian hurriedly said, "It's just that there are so urgent matters in M Nation that I need to handle, and I still have work over there. I won't be gone for too long. I will co back, Aurelia."
Aurelia Shaw bit her lower lip.
She wasn't sure if she could trust his words.
But she felt sowhat relieved that this ti at least he said goodbye and gave her a tiline, unlike last ti when he disappeared without a word.
"Aurelia, I really will co back." Caspian opened his mouth carefully seeing she had not spoken for a long ti.
Aurelia bit her lip, "You said before that you'd never leave alone."
And what happened?
He disappeared without a trace, and for so many years, so many that... she might never see him again.
"Brother, can't you stay?"
Hearing the slight grievance and tearfulness in her voice, Caspian sighed softly.
He had known for a long ti about Aurelia's attachnt to him, but he hadn't expected it to be to such an extent. Yet, he couldn't let anyone in the family know about her. If they ca to Country Z and t Aurelia Shaw, they would surely know she was Auntie's real daughter.
Then at that ti...
Caspian closed his eyes.
He absolutely couldn't let this happen.
"Aurelia, I promise, this ti it's really just for one month."
"Can't you not go? Aren't you very talented? Don't talented people hold themselves in high regard? Can't you be prideful just this once?"
She knew she was being willful.
But she really didn't want him to leave.
She was scared.
Afraid that everything would return to the path of the past. She had worked so hard to change things, and at this mont, she didn't want anyone to leave her.
Afraid that this separation would beco a permanent parting.
The feeling of being alone is terrifying.
"Aurelia..." Caspian's tone was full of helplessness.
Aurelia understood.
"Then... it's settled, one month, you have to co back!"
"Okay, I'll definitely be back in a month."
"Then when you go to M Nation, you have to call every day," Aurelia added.
Caspian chuckled lightly, "Aurelia, I still have work to do. I might not always have ti to call you, and don't you also have to film?"
Being busy alone already takes a lot of ti; if both are busy, there's even less free ti.
Hearing her silence again, Caspian indulgently offered, "How about two calls a week?"
"Okay! It's a deal."
Caspian: "..."
She responded so quickly; he wondered if this little fox was intentionally holding onto his words.
"Brother, take care of yourself," Aurelia said softly and then her tone beca fierce, "If you don't co back in a month, I'll go to M Nation to fetch you myself!"
"Alright," Caspian replied with a smile.
"Leave Jas with ."
You may not co back, but the cat should stay here. He can't just abandon the cat, right?
Brother seems to really like that cat.
Caspian smiled helplessly, not knowing what to say to her.
Is it possible that in her heart, her position is not even higher than a cat's?
No matter how fond he is of Jas, the cat doesn't surpass his dear sister in his heart.
"Brother..."
Caspian waited for a long ti, but Aurelia said nothing more, "Hmm?"
