Even if she asked about Mom, what would it change? It's clear that her brother is hiding things about Mom and doesn't want her to know. Even if she asks him, whether he knows she's not a Shaw child, or how much he knows about Mom, he won't tell her.
Although she doesn't really know what secrets are hidden in all of this.
Aurelia didn't return to the Nightshade Residence.
Instead, she drove straight to Caspian's place.
Caspian was surprised by her visit.
He did say he was leaving, but he didn't ntion leaving today. Is she being a bit too anxious?
Aurelia glared at Caspian, brushing past him to show she was angry and didn't want to talk.
Her temper as his sister has always been like this.
Caspian had no choice but to indulge her, as always.
He closed the door and followed her inside, watching as she cradled Jas in her arms.
"You don't have to be in such a hurry to take him, do you?"
"In a few days I'm going to join the filming crew, and won't have the chance to co by. It's better if White stays with ." Aurelia said.
Having been left behind once before, she can't let it happen again.
In the past, she had wondered.
If she had known in advance that her cousin would leave, what would she have done?
She would have held onto his most cherished items, knowing he would eventually co back for them, then she would cling to him, refusing to let him leave.
"I'm hungry." Aurelia said.
Caspian shook his head helplessly and went to the kitchen to cook for her.
"Brother, your cooking is so good. Can I take so with ?" Aurelia asked, the mischievous glint evident in her eyes.
Caspian glanced at her, easily seeing through her intentions, and said weakly, "Taking it back for Mason Nightshade?"
Upon having her intention exposed, Aurelia didn't blush but instead boldly nodded, admitting, "Mainly because your cooking is too good. You could cook for him, and when he gets addicted, stop cooking for him. Let him go hungry every day! It'll tornt him!"
Her brother probably doesn't know that Mason can cook, does he?
Sigh.
Is this what raising a sister amounts to, like spilled water?
They're not even remarried, yet she's already siding with soone else. Why does it feel like needles pricking his heart, as if the cabbage he had raised for years was now taken by a pig?
"Ungrateful wolf." Caspian murmured, his fair and slender fingers couldn't help but pick up a piece of at for her, adding, "Look how skinny you are, eat more."
Ordinarily, Aurelia would be conscious of her figure and try to eat less at, even though she doesn't gain weight from it. But this al was different, it was a farewell al.

After dinner.
Aurelia carried the packed al from Caspian and went back to the Nightshade Residence.
Her brother is always like this. Although he says he won't cook for Mason, he still packs the food for her before she leaves.

At the sa ti, Nightshade Residence.
Mason returned from the company, not seeing Aurelia, "Where's Young Madam?"
"Young Madam went to the supermarket this afternoon and called in the evening to say she wouldn't be ho for dinner." Mrs. Rong replied, so she didn't make dinner, "Young Master, should I make dinner for you?"
"No need." Mason said. Without Aurelia, dinner ant nothing to him, and he was used to such an irregular eating schedule.
He went upstairs, removed his jacket, preparing to take a shower. However, he saw the suitcase in the room, his pupils contracted sharply at the sight.
