Cassien turned around slowly, his vision now gazing at the one who surrounded themselves in a cloak.

"What do you say...?" Cassien continued. "A duel."

Wind began breezing from east to west; the individual’s cloak began swirling around them as if it were paid to do that.

The individual stepped forward, a grin seeping across their face, where Cassien couldn’t exactly depict any features at all, other than that grim smile... that widened within the darkness, right by the shoreline.

The waves crashed back and forth, not enough to reach where they stood. But enough to disturb the silence around them.

"You’ll learn..." The person began stepping back slowly, "You’ll learn soon..."

Cassien leaned his right arm all the way back, strengthening his physicality.

"Why shouldn’t I just learn now?"

Sling! Cassien threw it like a projectile; the speed was truly impressive. A light but elegant yellow coloring floated around the dagger as it continued to move at quick speeds towards [The Naless Extra].

[Weapon Mastery: tal Knife]

[New Skill Unlocked]

[Projectile: Lv 1]

Cassien watched the dagger seep through the air like an invincible force, pouring the rest of his remaining mana into that one throw.

’If I’m going to kill them, I only have one chance.’ His gaze never once let off, but then, he took his second knife out.

[The Naless Extra] dodged underneath it; Cassien grinned.

’Let’s see if you can dodge this one then.’

Seep! It cut through the air once more, rapidly chasing the body of that individual.

Shhkkk!

It hit. Not the individual’s body, but it sliced sharply through their cloak as they tried dodging again.

Cassien smiled. "So you’re a male." It widened. "I don’t need to be gentle with you then."

[The Naless Extra] began chuckling slowly, Cassien still not quite able to depict any features in the darkness, but one thing was true.

That face structure, the bone toughness. Cassien was able to clearly perceive that he was a male.

The color of that man’s eyes, the color of his hair, the length of his ears, the brightness of his teeth.

Cassien still hadn’t figured any of that out yet.

The laughs slowly turned more malicious by the second, Cassien choosing to take out his gun slowly, until that man faded into the shadows.

"I’ll see you in the future..." A final laugh escaped him, "For [The Reckoning]."

That na, Alex knew all too well.

It was the sa Chapter where Cassien Artfold’s cris ca into fruition. And as of now, he awaited that sa [Fate].

And just like that, [The Naless Extra] vanished. The footsteps were gone as well. There was no tracking him.

It was like Cassien was dreaming, or had been put into a hallucination.

The only information he actually had was the fact that the individual was in Class-1D. And there was no guarantee to that, only the fact that he stole Cassien’s basket and took it back to Class-1D.

"I see," Cassien whispered. "So you have read until the end."

He then felt a tap on his shoulder.

Cassien looked around imdiately. "Olivia," he said, "What are you doing here?"

She looked at him coldly. "I ca back after seeing you were missing from the squad. You were associated with what happened, weren’t you?"

"What happened?"

She put a finger on his lips. "Don’t you lie to . I saw you walk into the forest as soon as I sobered up. You were part of what happened."

Cassien chuckled. "So what now? You want to know the details? Will you snitch?"

She shook her head. "I don’t need anything. As long as you stay true to the promise you told about."

"Of course I would. I already admitted that I’m your representative, and you’re my beautiful leader."

She smiled. "I’m glad." Then she began walking north, back to the Start-Point. "Let’s get going then."

Cassien sighed as he followed behind her.

The night and gentle breeze floated around them.

"So then... Cassien," she panicked slightly, "We clearly haven’t won. We don’t know anyone’s leader."

Cassien laughed hysterically.

"You an you do not know anyone’s leader."

"So then... intrigue , Cassien. Who are they?" she asked.

"You’ll know when they ask for them."

Afterward, both of them began walking side-by-side nonstop to where the cruise ship was gently parked.

...

Around twenty or so minutes later, they finally got there.

Each class was put into their own singular lines, the instructors counting down each person through attendance.

After making sure everyone was there, they gave each Class Representative a small piece of paper and a pen.

This was the format:

————————————Class 1D Leader: ______————————————Class 1C Leader: ______————————————Class 1B Leader: ______————————————Class 1A Leader: ______————————————

After each leader received both of those, the female instructor from Class-1B began speaking.

"As you guys have already noticed, we had to cut the exam short for so small reasons."

Cassien laughed inwardly. ’Small... yeah, definitely.’

She continued. "Since that was the case, from the information you’ve hopefully gathered during the two days you were here... write down whoever you think is the opposing team’s leader. Sorry about the cut-off, but this exam must be calculated no matter what. So, as a team, decide fast before we return to the cruise ship."

"How about all our stuff in the tents?!" one student yelled.

"All of it will be gathered and distributed back to you. Don’t worry."

Cassien smiled as he began stepping forward. "Allow the pen and paper, Ms. Rep," he forwarded that ssage to Olivia. "Let write down who I believe is the leader of each class."

Though... the question remained.

Who would co out on top? Would it be Cassien’s class, who had been orchestrating every step of their path to victory?

Or would it be Class-1A? Because of what Siv had done. His treacherous actions now most likely causing every other class to know who Class-1D’s leader was.

No one knew, but Cassien remained confident.

As if he had already won this war.
