My throat felt like it was burning, and soon enough, I was forced to lie down and close my eyes, doing my best to control the energy so I wouldn’t accidentally suffocate to death.

Yet as I controlled the swirling energies from the Special Ability Cores, I suddenly felt Clentine lift my head.

When she lowered it again, I felt as though I was lying on a pillow.

I subtly opened one eye, and after noticing that I was lying on her thighs, I smirked slightly and got back to focusing on the Special Ability Cores.

For the next twenty minutes, I was in excruciating pain.

But once I hit the thirty-minute mark, the pain finally eased up.

I felt the Special Ability Cores start to settle, and when I finally opened my eyes, I was greeted with a pleasant surprise.
