"Hmmm~? Where are you?"

I glanced around the massive cave, looking for any hidden entrances.

That was when my Mystic Eyes of Perception finally locked onto a strand of energy in the distance.

I finally let out a sigh.

Yesterday was exhausting.

Both ntally... and money-wise.

I may or may not have bought Clentine a library in a nearby village, then scouted out every single erotic manga from the big cities, and after buying them, I brought them into her new private library.

It took a few hours.

But seeing the happy expression on her face before I left her in her private library, I was more than satisfied.

Though, I hope nearly 500 manga can keep her occupied long enough for to deal with my current predicant.

I was inside an underground cave, deep in the Ancient Dragon Mountains, the sa place where I originally got my Dragon Heart.

Finding the cave wasn’t hard with my Mystic Eyes.

It’s just that there were thousands of tunnels, and I was pretty much blindly hoping to find so dragon bones.

And after a while of searching... I finally picked up on a strand of energy.

Instead of using my Mystic Eyes on it, I just followed the strand along the dark tunnel that branched out almost endlessly.

The minutes of walking soon turned into hours, until finally, the strand of energy abruptly shot downward.

Taking a deep breath, I stomped the ground.

The earth gave in easily, and I began to fall.

I caught myself with Telekinesis and hovered in the air for a few short monts until the dust settled, revealing the area I was in.

And honestly, I was surprised by what I was seeing.

Instead of another tunnel system, there was one giant cave, filled to the brim with muddy lakes and withered trees.

But regardless of that, there were still remnants of buildings and so other kinds of structures.

It definitely used to be an underground civilization at so point.

The most significant ruins resembled a temple.

I flew over to it slowly, and as I overlooked the ruined temple from above, my eyes widened.

Dead center in the temple’s ruins was a giant, winged skeleton.

The fully intact skeleton of a dragon.

So only after a day of searching, I finally found what I had been looking for.

I flew down, and right as I was about to nab a piece, I spotted a few eggs that had been resting under its wing.

For a mont, I thought I had hit the jackpot and found so dragon eggs.

And while I did find so dragon eggs... it looked like the dragons had already hatched.

All seven of them.

Still, I paid my respects to this place.

Actual Dragons, and not just so off-spring dragonkin, were once beings who were revered by the world.

Though, one day, they just kind of went extinct.

It was never explained in the ga what happened.

But if these eggs were any indication... there might be seven alive dragons roaming the world right now.

I was a little interested in the ga’s lore, so this was fairly exciting to .

Even so, I didn’t dwell on this for too long, as ti was very precious to at the mont.

So I took a bone from the rib, but as I was ready to fly away, I halted.

I rembered that in the ga, there were a bunch of different Gifts that demons, and even evil humans, used.

One of them was Necromancy.

Glancing back down, I very quickly realized I didn’t want a bone dragon going after .

So with that in mind, I stored the rest of the dragon’s bones, as well as the empty dragon eggs, inside my inventory.

I made sure to do a few loops around the whole area and look around with my Mystic Eyes, but after making sure there was nothing here, I promptly left the underground area.

I collapsed hundreds of tunnels leading up to the area I found, and eventually, I exited through one of the holes in the mountainside.

As I took a breath of the fresh winter air, I finally felt like I climbed one of the bigger hurdles.

And now then... I needed to pay my dwarven friend a quick little visit.

***

Entering the Heirloom Kingdom was fairly easy.

I just had to change my appearance to so brown-haired man, and no one asked a question.

I walked through the streets for a few minutes until finally, I arrived in front of the familiar smithy, The Iron Hamr.

The mont I stepped inside, I spotted the gray-haired and bearded dwarf, sleeping behind his desk as usual.

Though even if he was a lazy bum, he was the best lazy bum I could turn to in tis of need.

"Sir, excuse ?"

I tapped the desk.

"Could I please order a commission?"

He opened one eye and looked up and down.

Seeing my rather shabby clothes and plain complexion, he let out a sigh.

"If you’re here for a sword, buy one off the shelf. Don’t think you’ll be able to afford my prices."

He’s still as self-absorbed as ever too.

But oh well...

I took out five bars of platinum and plopped them down onto the desk.

That seed to imdiately pique his interest.

So like the professional blacksmith/pervert that he was, he stood up and leaned on the desk.

"You shoulda started with that. What do you want made?"

"Have you ever worked with dragon bones?"

His brows twitched.

"Dragon bones? If you pull a dragon bone up your ass, I’ll hand you my entire shop."

Oh?

In that case...

I subtly closed the door with my Telekinesis and then took out one of the smaller bones that I had gotten.

And when it landed on the table, the dwarf’s composure vanished completely.

"W-What! This is... this is real? How did you... how did you get your hands on sothing this valuable... Even my ancestors haven’t seen dragon bones."

He t my gaze with shaky eyes.

"Do you have more?"

Of course I do.

"No, sorry. This dragon bone belonged to my father, and I thought I’d make sothing nice with it after he passed."

A look of pity appeared on his face.

But before he could insert his own sob story, I said:

"Ah, and about the smithy? When’s the earliest I can get it?"

"What? Oh... I was only joking, young man."

He laughed like a brute and then wiped away a stray tear.

"I understand. I’m sorry for losing my composure. Now then, what could soone like make for soone like you?"

Smiling, I took out two donuts from my dinsional ring and gently placed them on the table.

Before leaving, Clentine made us so round donuts with holes in the middle.

I playfully stuck a hole through it with my finger, as did she.

In reality, I only wanted to know her ring size.

And it worked perfectly.

"Can you make two wedding rings from this dragon bone? Preferably, inscribe so cool dragon patterns into them. Oh, and one more thing..."

I took out a slab of Clorafite.

"Can you dip the rings into this material? I want the patterns to be made from Clorafite, and if possible, make it so there’s a protective layer over the rings. I don’t want them accidentally breaking while in combat."

And those words, as well as the show of Clorafite, were enough to remind the old dwarf who I was.

He scowled imdiately.

"What’s with the hair dye? Don’t tell , did your girlfriend dump you, so you decided to run away and never show your face to anyone ever again?"

I rolled my eyes.

"Who do you think I’m making these rings for? Anyhow, get it done in under an hour. I need to catch up on so training later."

"Ugh... You’re testing my patience, kiddo. I was thinking about how I was going to teach you a lesson..."

"But since you brought dragon bone, I suppose I’ll make an exception. I’ll be back in an hour."

He took the bone and the leftover Clorafite before making his way into the back room.

Seeing that, I sat down in his seat and relaxed.

I knew he wasn’t going to scam .

But the rings better co out perfect.

After all, I wasn’t bringing just any kind of terrible material to his doorstep.

While he was at it, I decided to peep on him with my Mystic Eyes to pass the ti.

***

Once I saw him approach the door, I quickly went behind the desk.

He kicked the door open and tossed the leftover Clorafite and dragon bone at .

I caught them easily and stored them inside my dinsional ring.

Then, he brought out two small ring boxes made out of dragon bone and Clorafite, which he placed on the desk.

I excitedly opened both the boxes up and inspected the rings.

And they were nothing short of perfect.

Two perfectly round rings made out of dragon bone, with an incredibly thin golden coating of Clorafite.

He also carved a few miniature dragons into the rings, and adding Clorafite, he gave the dragons a golden glow.

I loved them.

"This is perfect... Honestly, if you decided to actually stop lazing around and use your Gift properly, you’d beco the most renowned blacksmith in the whole world."

He scoffed.

"I couldn’t give a shit about fa. Fa brings trouble. All I care about is money. Small-ti work like this brings enough money to get by."

"If you say so..."

I stored the rings and then left a generous tip of another five platinum bars.

"Thanks for your help again. I’m sure I’ll be back soon."

"Tsk... Just get out already."

Letting out a chuckle, I finally left the smithy and glanced at the sky.

The sun had nearly set.

But even so, I was glad I managed to accomplish my little side quest in only a day.

And now, when the ti was right... I was ready.

Stretching a little bit, I abruptly turned into lightning and began soaring back to the Skyward Continent.

With everything done and over with, I needed to train.

Specifically, I wanted to practice Atomic Telekinesis and The Demon King of Wrath’s Blood trait for the next couple of days.

So with that in mind, I began heading straight toward the Eldritch monster.
