"Don’t you think the fight has already dragged on for long enough?" I said.
He didn’t answer . Instead, he flicked his finger, causing the surroundings to once again shift and change. Darkness washed over for a brief mont, until finally, my vision once again returned to normal.
However, there was no more Demon Realm. Hell, there wasn’t even another world.
I was back in my old room, lying on my comfy bed. The computer was on, and right beside it was my phone that kept on blasting horrible music. This was exactly how I used to relax back in the day.
Right off the bat, I tried to use my energy. However, I couldn’t even tap into my Mind Realm, almost like I was once again a normal human. Though, with how easily I was able to break the bed fra, I was obviously still strong.
Despite that, I lifted myself off the bed and approached my computer. I sat down and tried to type sothing. For a mont, the words were actually being written down, but when I pressed ’Enter’ on the keyboard, everything disappeared and I was once again on my desktop.
"Is this really your idea of punishing ?" I sighed and crossed my arms. "Because I have to say, it’s pretty damn pathetic."
Once again, he ignored .
But just then, the door swung open, and a certain soone walked inside. It was a man with plain brown hair and blue eyes. He had a slight scar on his neck, and from how pale he was, he was obviously sickly.
Well... that was only half of it, as it only took a mont to realize that this person was none other than myself.
I had forgotten what I used to look like.
Honestly? I was pretty handso, even back then. It was a real pity I was never able to find a long-term girlfriend.
My old self glanced at , and then avoided eye contact. He set down his backpack, made so quick breakfast, and afterwards, he went back to his computer.
Feeling a slight force pushing back, I stood up, and right on cue, he sat down.
"Are you here to pester too?" I called out.
But he also didn’t answer . If anything, he did his best to act like I didn’t even exist in the first place. I tried to reach forward and touch him, but there was this invisible barrier that prevented from doing so.
Only when I got close enough did I realize that it was my very own energy that was preventing from getting closer. The sa energy that I couldn’t tap into or control in the slightest.
...Just what was happening?
Ti passed in a mundane manner. He would sit on his computer, play so gas on his phone, and after eating and sleeping, go back to work. The cycle would repeat after he ca back, and in the last eight cycles, nothing much had changed.
I was beginning to feel like the main purpose of this was just to piss off. So finally, once the ninth cycle began, I waited carefully by the door. Right as it opened and he stepped inside, I tried to slip out and escape.
Yet to my surprise, my arm was twisted and I was shoved straight into a wall. My mind blanked out for a mont, and when I returned, I found myself lying against the wall, whereas my old self was lying on the bed and playing gas.
A shiver ran down my spine as I finally realized just how severe this whole situation was. I couldn’t escape outright. Tapping into my energy that already existed here? I already tried that. It didn’t work.
The feeling of unease continued to grow, and judging by how my old self suddenly closed his eyes and went to sleep, followed by his body vanishing, I knew the 10th loop would soon begin.
So I stood up and went further away from the door. I tried the window, but it was unbreakable. The phone? It worked, sowhat. I was able to launch so apps, but none of the social ones.
Among the apps that I could launch was All Routes Lead To Death!
The ga that I had been transmigrated into.
Out of everything I had touched ever since I appeared in this strange realm, All Routes Lead To Death! was the only thing that didn’t reset after only a couple of seconds of playing.
So I decided to play it for a little while.
The tutorial, the first couple of academy arcs... it all went by faster than I could ever imagine.
But by the ti I hit the half a year mark in the story, Kevin accidentally sliced his throat open while training.
This was now my 6th ti slicing my neck inside the ga, and from my thousands of hours of gaplay, I was now 100% sure that these shitty developers added like a 0.001% chance to slice your own neck every ti you swing a sword.
Well, as stupid as the ga was, it was pretty addictive to play. It was so addictive, in fact, that I hadn’t even realized how many tis the loop had happened. But one thing did change, and it was the fact that my old self no longer touched the phone, only because I was already using it.
That was the only change I noticed.
Still, it seed like I was a little rusty when it ca to playing the ga, since out of the 5 runs that I did, I only managed to make it to the Demon Descent once. Even then, I died after fighting the first demon I had encountered.
Why was it so difficult?

[Clentine’s POV]
"Hmm?"
I’m back ho?
I glanced around, my stomach slightly churning from the lack of energy.
Yet once I realized that I was sitting on my throne, I felt a stinging sensation in my chest, being reminded of the horrible experience I had being the Siren Queen.
