"Your highness, could you please review these docunts?" an old butler asked. His shoulders were pretty wide for a man who did nothing but deceive for most of my childhood.

He was one of the people who had also tried to give birth to a Siren Queen. In all honesty, he had a fair shot, since there had been a previous Siren Queen in his bloodline.

But... when I was born, his dream was shattered. Though his dream of control remained.

Though on the other hand, just what was the point of this? Why exactly did I get tossed into an old mory? More importantly... where’s Amon?

I glanced around frantically. I even tried to stand. The weight of the throne kept down, so no matter how much I struggled, I couldn’t actually rise.

As if that wasn’t enough, the old man got closer and plopped the docunts onto my lap. With a wide smile, he said:

"Make sure to review this by tonight. Your decision will influence the Sirens’ loyalty toward you."

He bowed once, then began walking back. His figure turned blurry once he got far enough away, until eventually vanishing.

A shiver ran down my spine as I leaned down to check the docunts. My hand froze as I flipped the first page open. There was nothing. Not a single word, or even a brush of ink to note. It was just an empty stack of papers that bastard had given .

Yet as I flipped to the last page, I spotted a number in the very center of the page. It was the number one. I blinked, and the stack of papers suddenly vanished.

Before I could begin to even show a hint of confusion, I spotted the sa old man from earlier appear beside . His expression, clothes, and even the stack of papers were the sa as before as well.

And to top it all off...

"Your highness, could you please review these docunts?"

[Wilhelm’s POV]

Wrath and complete and utter rage.

I wish I could say that was my specialty.

I glanced ahead, spotting the savior. Beside him was his woman, and a bit further back was that damn troublemaker who shouldn’t have even been here in the first place.

"The Sword Saint..."

My eyes once again glanced over them. Their eyes were cloudy, and their thoughts ca in the form of red threads above their heads. Truthfully, I had no idea what kind of trials the Realm of Despair would assign them.

But as I stared at their thoughts above their heads, I was more than satisfied with what I was seeing.

Amon’s thoughts leaked out strange numbers and combinations. Routes and death... Perhaps there was even a trace of sadness amidst those thoughts?

I peered further. The Realm of Despair expanded, and I was soon t with a small black room. The room soon gained color, texture, and lastly, a complete form.

There was a small bed and a strange glowing system panel in a fra right on the table. There was a slightly more advanced kitchen, as well as furniture I had never seen before.

Not even in the Demon Realm.

I closed my eyes, focused my energy on his Realm of Despair, and then inserted myself inside. Finally, I was in the very sa room where Amon was. I hadn’t realized it from the outside, but why did all of this seem so strange...?

These murals, this language. Even these clothes his counterpart is wearing. None of it made sense to .

Now that I’m looking at it from here... why did this seem so much different than what I’d seen before? Is this the place he lives with his woman?

No... the Realm of Despair wouldn’t show a happy mory. It wouldn’t even entertain the thought of him having a happy ti.

I approached Amon, and noticed he was also tapping on a much smaller frad system panel. There were moving characters on it and that sa language I couldn’t understand.

"..."

Is this what the prophet was talking about?

A soul belonging to two worlds, but not being compatible to either.

How intriguing...

I suppose this is why everyone, including the Demon God, wants him alive.

But still, to be locked in a Realm of Despair focused on replaying a mundane event. I expected sothing more traumatic from him for so reason.

"Ah, I finally beat it."

Hmm?

I glanced down at Amon, and to my surprise, he tossed that strange frad system panel at the wall, shattering it. In the sa instant, his counterpart froze mid-step.

My eyes widened, realizing that the Realm of Despair was collapsing. It shouldn’t be possible, at least not this soon. I reacted quickly and cast yet another Realm of Despair on him.

Yet without aning to, I accidentally went a little overboard on the amount of energy I used. Because of that, Amon’s entire Realm of Despair shattered, and before long, he was left in just the pitch-black space.

He glanced around, clearly confused. He couldn’t utilize his energy, nor could he float away, as this Realm of Despair was personalized and endless.

It’s... not very ideal. Sothing like this would make him lose his mind, and that’s not what I intended to do.

But I could only use the Realm of Despair three tis on one individual. Three tis in my whole life. Using up two of my usages already... I am not making the mistake of not keeping a trump card against him.

So although Amon might lose his mind from being stuck in a pitch-black realm until I kill his friends, at least he would be safe.

With that in mind, I snapped my fingers, reappearing back in the Demon Realm. Amon and the rest of his friends were right there as well.

I stared at each of them for a brief mont, then approached his woman. Her thoughts were much clearer than his. She was going through the repetitive and endless cycle of work, work, and more work.

Escaping sothing like that was easy. Just stop working. Though, the reason these Realms of Despair are so perfect for each one of them is because they work.

As a woman who had been forced to be a queen since the mont she was born, she has no choice but to work.

"Pfft... Hahahaha..."

I stood right in front of her, then reached into my dinsional ring. I pulled out a small black dagger, and then held it re inches away from her neck.

"I suppose while Ren’s on his way here, I should at the very least kill you."
