The next day, Zhang Zejun signed a land contract with the Hong Governnt. Previously, he was indecisive, as it was an uncertain investnt, and he feared Zhang Han might oppose.

Now, with both giants of the Zhang Family agreeing, Zhang Zejun didn’t want to delay, also worrying if soone else might take action first.

It must be said, Zhang Zejun’s thinking was correct. As soon as he signed the contract and paid in full, completing the transfer procedures, soone went to the Hong Governnt to inquire about the land in Happy Valley.

Upon learning that all the Happy Valley vacant land was bought by the Zhang Family from Shencheng, the person was stunned.

If it were soone else who bought that piece of land, he could approach and discuss cooperation.

The problem was, the buyer was soone he didn’t want to face, sigh.

But missing out, he was also unwilling, wanting a better place, which was practically impossible.

The steward saw the master walking out dejectedly and felt a thump in his heart, "Master?"

Feng Kai was in a bad mood, and after getting in the car, he asked, "Do you know where Feng Hao’s ex-wife lives?"

Upon hearing this, the steward felt a chill in his heart. The legitimate line of Feng’s house arrived in Harbor City earlier than Zhang Yu’s group, and they knew about Zhang Yu and Feng Hao’s divorce.

Though surprised, knowing Zhang Han stepped in, it was no longer strange.

Feng Kai didn’t have much interaction with the Zhang Family. If he were still related by marriage to Feng Hao, Feng Kai would definitely have to entertain them when Zhang Han ca to Harbor City.

But since the divorce, Feng Kai did not co forward. He knew Zhang Han studied abroad early and had good relations with Arica, otherwise Feng Hao wouldn’t have obtained the agency rights.

What he hadn’t expected was that Zhang Han actually had connections with the Hong Governnt here.

Feng Kai sighed, "I have realized, Feng Hao, that kid, is really not a person with vision."

"Thinking the Zhang Family was useless, yet they ca to Harbor City and are thriving."

Originally, he thought he knew this news early, but it turns out others knew it beforehand, and he hadn’t expected the Zhang Family’s actions to be so rapid.

Feng Kai really wanted to know just how much money Zhang Yu had, to support her in such relentless spending.

The steward was shocked his master was actually concerned about a divorced woman’s situation.

He recalled Feng Kai’s earlier evaluation of Zhang Yu, implying that Zhang Yu marrying Feng Hao was truly a waste.

Fortunately, Feng Kai was unaware of the steward’s thoughts, or he’d be furious to the point of spitting blood.

"This land, I already have plans, must not be missed." Face is important, but planning is also important.

Listening to his master’s answer, the steward exhaled a sigh of relief; still the money-focused master, "I know the place, but are we just going to knock on the door?"

Without prior notice and mixed relations between the two families, just imagining it made the steward feel nothing but awkward.

Zhang Yu looked at Feng Kai sitting straight-backed, drinking tea on her sofa, and felt internally screaming.

Of course Zhang Yu knew Feng Kai, as the patriarch of Feng’s house, responsible for growing the legitimate line’s business.

If Feng Hao could expand his branch through marriage, Feng Kai truly relied on his intellect and decisive actions to strengthen the legitimate line.

Generally, when the legitimate line grows, people tend to close ties with clansn, especially well-established ones.

But the man before her didn’t operate like that; he was very direct, keeping limited contact and cooperation with clansn.

Zhang Yu married into Feng’s house for years and only t Feng Kai during family events, having never spoken.

She hastily reviewed the original mories, and indeed found Feng Hao’s criticism of Feng Kai, without one good word.

Since arriving in Harbor City, Feng Kai showed no movent, yet now had suddenly appeared, increasingly baffling Zhang Yu.

A busy man suddenly knocking on the door, Zhang Yu believed it wasn’t rely a convenient visit, with Feng Kai being a workaholic, there must be a reason.

Reflecting on her recent actions, Zhang Yu quickly guessed a thing or two, "Boss Feng, you’re here for the land in Happy Valley."

Her recent endeavors likely prompted Feng Kai’s visit, Zhang Yu thought there couldn’t be anything else attracting Feng Kai beyond this asset.

After two cups of tea, Feng Kai’s mind was much clearer, sowhat regretful for coming so hastily.

Originally contemplating an exit strategy, he didn’t expect Zhang Yu to bring it up first.

Recalling remarks from fellow Shencheng people during the last gathering, Feng Kai knew their evaluation of Zhang Yu was accurate.

His opinion of Zhang Yu needed so revision, "Yes."

"Do you have any plans for that piece of land?" With Zhang Yu explicitly ntioning it, presumably, she had so understanding of the land’s planning.

Of course, Zhang Yu knew, "Planning to build factories and rent them out for rental inco."

Renting? Feng Kai thought about the properties Zhang Zejun and the others bought, all rented out, "Haven’t considered starting your own factory?"

Zhang Yu looked up at him, "We’ll leave so space for our own factories."

As for the chosen industry, Zhang Zejun had decided on the clothing industry.

Zhang Yu knew in those tis Harbor City’s textile industry was booming, posing no worries about business.

Feng Kai took a deep breath, an expected answer, "Have you thought about building houses, attracting large numbers of wealthy mainlanders unable to find adequate hos?"

Feng Kai felt such a location was more suitable for building such houses.

Zhang Yu nodded, "I know, but I don’t want to."

"You could build luxury villas, within two years, and certainly earn considerable profits."

"Bridging relationships, fostering nurous cooperation along the way." Is making money important to Feng Kai?

Not as important, with many industries earning under his developnt in Harbor City, he now needed more extensive connections.

"For us, investing in residential buildings is profitable, but we don’t have that much capital."

"By building factories and renting them out, we can still earn rental inco. In another ten to twenty years, when we have enough funds, we’ll consider residential construction."

Feng Kai heard Zhang Yu say they didn’t have money and nearly blurted out a suggestion for partnership, glad it remained unsaid.

He understood the Zhang Family recognized that piece of land’s value and appreciated Harbor City’s potential, "Do you have faith in Harbor City’s future?"

"So many affluent people bring capital and technology."

"The mainland also brings countless ordinary people, providing labor."

"With money, technology, and labor in place, supported by the vast mainland market, what do you think the prospects are?"
