"Hello Professor, can I co inside?"
While Darius Blackthorn was being publicly criticised by Professor Lyra, Soren, on the other hand, was already outside the infirmary.
Unlike the day before with Sylvia, though, he felt that it wasn’t empty as before. It seed Professor Lysandra was inside.
"Co in. No need to ask."
Sure enough, a soft voice imdiately responded, asking him to enter. It was an infirmary after all, not a class where you needed permission.
"Thank you, Professor."
Regardless, Soren still showed respect before opening the door and entering the infirmary.
Once again, he couldn’t help but feel that this infirmary was too small, considering it was of the Elite Hunter Academy.
"Hmm... it seems you shattered the bones in both your legs. Lie down on that bed. I will co to you shortly."
Before Soren could look around, though, a soft voice spoke once again, asking him to lie down.
Only then did he see the Professor sitting on a chair.
With long silver-white hair and sharp amber eyes, the quite plump S-rank Healer Professor sat in a crisp white apron that made her look more like a doctor than a healer, calmly sipping coffee while reading a book.
When Soren looked at her, she briefly turned her head up away from the book, signalling at the bed.
"Wait just a bit... I am at a very interesting part right now, you know."
She asked, not at all in a hurry to help Soren.
Rather, she once again lowered her head and began reading the book again, her eyes carrying a faint smile that even Soren could feel.
"..."
Soren didn’t know what to say at such a lacklustre response and was quite speechless.
But rembering her nature from the ga, he didn’t find it odd and didn’t even try to strike up a conversation.
Instead, he simply lay down on one of the beds, his gaze fixed on the ceiling.
Suddenly, the infirmary returned to strange silence with only the occasional sound of Lysandra turning the page of her book.
With silence, Soren’s mind began to wander through the recent happenings one by one, as his life after transmigration was quite hectic.
From one perverted quest to another, to conquering one dungeon after another, these few days were really full of ups and downs.
Although in the end, he managed to co on top and even raise his class to A-rank, after almost losing Sylvia today, he suddenly beca a bit calr.
He realised that maybe he was taking too much of a risk so early for little gain.
After all, a re E-rank dungeon was really nothing in the grand scale of things. Even the reward he got wasn’t much, except for the ’Survivor’ title he got before.
Instead of this, if he quietly followed the natural plotline of the ga, Lover’s Labyrinth, his gain would be far higher.
’Co to think of it, the next plot is about to start, right? Sigh... things can get quite ssy at that ti.’
Soren thought and sighed a bit unconsciously, which sounded particularly loud in the silent infirmary.
"Are you in so much pain? Sorry, I was really at a very interesting part, you know?"
At that mont, Soren sensed soone right in front of him, softly apologising.
"It seems you really were injured very badly. Your bones are shattered into tiny fragnts inside."
He didn’t know when Professor Lysandra was already in front, looking at his legs through her glass, her eyes shining green for a mont.
"But, it seems you were healed in ti by a good healer. It seems Elite Hunter Academy got a good disciple this sester."
Lysandra looked at Soren with a smile, her eyes a bit curious.
"Yeah, she is Sylvia, my teammate, an S-rank healer."
Soren noticed her gaze and gave a faint reply,
"Oh? Sylvia, good na."
She nodded before looking at his legs again,
"Okay, I saw what your condition is. Don’t worry, it isn’t serious. I can heal you with just one spell."
Lysandra ensured before her hand hovered over his legs, a whirlpool of green mana condensing around,
"Restoration!"
Then, just like that, she used one of her skills, wrapping Soren’s leg in her dense mana. He could even feel that mana seeping inside and impacting bones unlike Sylvia.
Moreover, there was no pain as he imagined, rather he felt quite good.
’So convenient...’
If it was his previous world, Soren would already be on pain dication. But this world was really wonderful in so sense, wasn’t it?
Well, excluding the danger of gates and monsters of course.
"Okay, your injury is now healed perfectly. Try standing up again."
Professor Lysandra spoke to which Soren imdiately stood up from his bed, placing his leg on the ground.
No pain.
He even jumped a bit left and right, and felt that he was really cured.
After falling from such a height like a teor and crushing all the bones in his leg, he was as fine as before in just a few minutes. To be honest, he was kind of jealous of this ability.
"Thank you, Professor."
After making sure there were no complications, Soren quickly bowed slightly to Professor Lysandra.
"Well, you’re surprisingly polite. I expected so reckless teenager, all hormones and noise. For soone like you, you’re... unusually calm."
Lysandra noticed that Soren had been respectful from the mont he entered the infirmary.
Well, as a Professor, that was expected, but he didn’t complain even when she asked him to lie down while focusing on her book.
To be honest, she expected so sign of peeking or at least a lingering gaze. After all, she knew how beautiful she was to a teenage boy.
But there was nothing at all.
"Hmm? Well, thank you, I guess?"
Soren was a bit confused by her words.
It wasn’t that he was calm. He was consciously limiting his interaction with this professor.
First, he was afraid she would get interested in him sohow and awaken a Perverted Quest like with Professor Lyra.
Second, although Lysandra seed amiable and kind, he knew how crazy this woman was.
It wasn’t without reason; in the ga, she carried the title Crazy Healer.
So, although it sounded narcissistic, he didn’t want her to get interested in him and awaken a quest. That would raise his blood pressure too much.
Still, he was a bit offended that she thought so lowly of him.
"Hehe... no need to thank . Rather, do you want to treat that too? I don’t think you want to go outside with that on your face."
Professor Lysandra, of course, noticed his confusion and giggled slightly before signalling at his right cheek.
The sa cheek Sylvia had smacked earlier.

Only then did Soren realise why she thought so lowly of him, why her gaze always seed to linger on his face.
He thought she might be interested in him because of his charm.

"W-Well, Professor, please heal it too then."
Soren felt embarrassed by his gaffe, but what else could he do?
He couldn’t just leave the infirmary like this, could he? Although he was slightly annoyed by Lysandra’s continuous giggling, at least she could help him.
’Now that I think about it, did Professor Lyra also see this?"
"Crap... she might have the wrong impression of now. How am I supposed to complete the quest like this?’
Soren suddenly thought with dread, not realising that his reputation was already sared in front of Lyra.
The poor guy might have a hard ti completing his quest now.
He really needed a bit of luck on his side.
