Su Ziyu was not surprised by this outco. He listened briefly to the two rchants' conversation and then rose to walk toward the backyard. He had no intention of dealing with the situation in Kyoto for now; his plan was to retreat behind the scenes and wait for things to unfold. Maybe when the ti is right, the mastermind would reveal themself.
Besides, the Netherworld is still hunting him; he'll leave this ss for the local residents to handle themselves.

This elder naturally walked into the inn, seemingly unnoticed by others, even the innkeeper brushed past him while carrying food as though completely unaware, without any sign of greeting.
The old man behaved as if he were at ho, ignoring everyone else, and entered the backyard, sitting down heavily in front of Su Ziyu.
He poured himself a cup of plum wine and praised, "Good wine!"
"It's been so long since I've had such fine wine."

Su Ziyu's hair stood on end; he instinctively rested his hand on the hilt of the teor, frowning as he stared at the elder who had appeared before him out of nowhere, drinking wine on his own, and asked in a deep voice, "Who are you?"
Completely unnoticed.
No anomalies were detected in his perception; the elder seed to appear out of thin air, and only when Su Ziyu reacted did he realize this unexpected guest's presence.
Yet, upon thinking carefully, he recalls hearing footsteps earlier.
So unknown force had influenced his perception, making Su Ziyu entirely ignore this detail, and only when the elder spoke did he detect the unexpected guest in front of him.
This is a truly frightening ability.
Given Su Ziyu's degree of perception enhancent, achieving this would not be simple for the elder.
"This lamb is roasted nicely!" The bald elder before him seed indifferent to his words, picking up slices of at and putting them in his mouth, ready to feast.
He didn't exhibit any obvious malice.
If he intended to attack, he would have done so already.
Su Ziyu's expression cald a bit; he rested his hand, looking at the bald elder curiously and asking, "What kind of demon are you?"
