Ji Rui carefully placed his thumb on Ji Baby’s forehead. When his slightly warm fingertip touched Ji Baby’s soft skin, Ji Baby bead with a blissful and bright smile!
Ji Rui’s heart softened to the point where it felt like it could drip water, and his thumb lingered on Ji Baby’s forehead, unable to move away.
Finally, he lowered his head, touching his forehead to Ji Baby’s, and looked into his eyes.
"Baby, as long as you’re good, I’ll reward you with a thumb every day, alright?" Ji Rui asked tenderly, a rare mont of softness.
"Daddy, really?" Ji Baby was overjoyed, wrapping his arms around Ji Rui’s neck and giving him a peck on the lips.
"Yes, of course it’s true!" Ji Rui nodded very seriously.
Ji Baby happily extended his pinky to make a pinky promise with Ji Rui. In the past, Ji Rui would mostly ignore such childish behavior from his son, but now, he found himself instinctively reaching out his pinky to hook fingers with Ji Baby.
After making the pinky promise, Ji Baby suddenly rembered a question.
"Daddy, are you moving back to stay with ?"
It was then that Ji Rui rembered he hadn’t ntioned the move to Ji Baby yet.
"No, it’s you moving over to stay with Daddy."
Ji Rui watched his son anxiously, afraid he might throw a tantrum, unwilling to move and live with him.
Although he had no intention of changing his decision regardless of whether his son wanted it or not, if Ji Baby didn’t want to, his mood would certainly be affected.
"Daddy, are you afraid of the dark? So, you want to co over and keep you company?"
Ji Baby adorably tilted his little face up to look at Ji Rui, thinking in his little head that his daddy must be like him when he sleeps alone, afraid of the dark, and thus wanting soone to keep him company.
Ji Rui’s lips twitched; being seen as afraid of the dark by a five-year-old child was quite embarrassing for a thirty-year-old man!
"Yes, Daddy is afraid of the dark!"
As long as it ant Ji Baby would willingly move over, he could bear the embarrassnt!
Ji Baby puffed out his chest in a little manly stance and readily agreed.
"Okay, then I’ll move over to keep Daddy company!"
Ji Rui ruffled his hair and took out a hooded cotton sweatshirt, presenting it to Ji Baby.
"Baby, do you want to wear this today?"
Ji Baby pouted disdainfully at Ji Rui, "Daddy, I have to wear the school uniform!"
"School uniform?" Ji Rui was dumbfounded.
Since Ji Baby started going to kindergarten at two and a half years old, Ji Rui, being so busy, had never once taken him to school or picked him up, so he had no idea school uniforms existed.
"Here, this is it!"
Ji Baby ran over to the far end of the walk-in closet, climbed onto a stool to take down a set of white shirt and plush black suit uniform, and with a "thud," jumped down and ran over to hand it to Ji Rui.
Ji Rui took the uniform, furrowing his brows, "Baby, isn’t it cold to wear this?"

"Alright, let’s go have breakfast."
Today’s breakfast, since Ji Rui hadn’t given any specific instructions, Aunt Guan prepared the most regular milk and bread. Ji Baby, probably in a good mood, happily ate two large pieces of bread he usually disliked, even diligently spreading cream cheese on a piece of bread for Ji Rui.

"Yes, from now on, Daddy will take you to school every day!"
Ji Rui said, bending down to scoop up Ji Baby in one arm.
Ji Baby imdiately planted a kiss on his cheek, "Daddy, I really like you!!"
Ji Rui’s heart trembled slightly as he gently patted Ji Baby’s soft bottom.
He always thought his precious son had a difficult personality, often crying and making a fuss over little things.
Only now did he realize that Ji Baby wasn’t inherently difficult; it was simply because he spent too little ti with him. Or perhaps, aside from money, he barely gave Ji Baby any attention, which led to Ji Baby trying different ways to challenge him.

"Of course, Daddy likes Ji Baby!"
Precious, you’re the most beloved person Daddy has in this world. If Daddy doesn’t like you, who else could he like?
Words so sentintal and mushy, Ji Rui, being naturally reserved, certainly couldn’t speak out loud to Ji Baby.
Ji Rui clearly noticed that his feelings for Ji Baby had increased severalfold recently. Was it because of the increased interactions between them, or was it because he had finally realized so of Ji Baby’s little thoughts?
Ji Rui personally took Ji Baby to the kindergarten. Having never t Ji Baby’s current teacher, he held Ji Baby’s hand as they walked through the school gates and headed straight for Ji Baby’s classroom under his guidance.
Everywhere a man like Ji Rui and a little boy like Ji Baby went, they could instantly draw the gaze of so young won.
This ti was no exception.
Holding Ji Baby’s hand, from the mont they got out of the car, Ji Rui was under the gaze of many.
"Daddy, I told my friends you’re really handso, but they didn’t believe . Today, I want to show them just how handso you are!"
In Ji Baby’s heart, Ji Rui’s image was radiant, like that of a hero.
