Ji Rui and Ji Baby have very similar faces, but their temperants are worlds apart.
Ji Rui exudes the overwhelming aura of a successful man. The mont he appears, the atmosphere around him seems to cool a few degrees.
Although Ji Baby looks very similar to Ji Rui, his cute mushroom haircut combined with his cheerful smile and bouncing personality makes him adorably nosebleed-inducing. On the walls of the classroom, colorful paintings were affixed. Considering the naive brushstrokes and vibrant colors, it was easy to imagine they were all crafted by little kids.
Ji Rui bent down and patted Ji Baby’s butt, signaling that he could go play with other kids. Watching his son joyfully take off his shoes and bounce into the rug like a kangaroo, Ji Rui asked the teacher who was still admiring him.
"Teacher Wang, how does Ji Yu perform at school?"
"Ji Yu is very smart, has great leadership skills, and excellent verbal ability. Has Mr. Ji had his IQ tested?"
Teacher Wang held Ji Baby in high regard, implying that Ji Baby’s IQ might be higher than ordinary children?
Ji Rui shook his head, "No, he’s quite naughty at ho; it’s okay if you are stricter with him."
Ji Rui never played favoritism for Ji Baby because he didn’t want his happiness tainted with too much worldly flattery.
However, his intentions were noble, but in reality, even if he said nothing, as soon as others knew who Ji Baby was, everything would basically go smoothly for him.
"Yes, he’s indeed quite naughty, but he seldom bullies other kids. In the class, he’s one of the youngest but also one of the most influential and organized kids, maybe that’s related to his family."
Ji Rui knew that the old man had certainly smoothed things out for Ji Baby when sending him here, ensuring that even if Ji Baby caused chaos, he probably would not hear any bad comnts.
While Ji Rui was chatting with Teacher Wang, Ji Baby suddenly ca over hand-in-hand with a few little kids. The kids first curiously eyed Ji Rui, but after sensing his cold aura, their expressions turned a bit timid.
"You see, that’s my daddy, handso, right? Hmph, much more stylish and handso than your long-legged oppas!"
Ji Baby, taller than the other kids, stood among them with a proud and arrogant look.
The kids shyly glanced at Ji Rui, nodding in agreent.
Without waiting for Ji Rui to react, Ji Baby led the kids back to the center of the rug to continue playing like a leader.
Ji Rui glanced at his watch; it was ti to leave.
"Teacher Wang, I’ll leave Ji Yu in your capable hands!"
Teacher Wang blushed and replied, "Mr. Ji, this is my job."
Ji Rui called to Ji Baby, who was playing intensely, "Ji Yu, daddy’s leaving!"
Ji Baby looked up, waved at him with a smile, and shouted, "Daddy, rember to pick up after school!"
"Okay!" Ji Rui nodded earnestly at him and then at Teacher Wang as a goodbye, then turned and left the classroom.
Back at the Ji Family, there were still ten minutes before the workday started at 8:30.
Coming out of the elevator, Ji Rui habitually glanced at Le Tong’s desk.
The empty desk left him slightly disappointed.
His high spirits suddenly slid downhill.
He thought the cold war between him and Le Tong had ended.
But it turned out that yesterday’s coffee and those foods were just fleeting gestures. Today, everything returned to square one.
Suppressing the inexplicable sense of loss in his heart, Ji Rui walked towards his office.
With his hand on the doorknob, before he could apply pressure, the knob turned, and the door opened from the inside. The face he thought he wouldn’t see for a little while longer unexpectedly appeared in front of him.

Indeed, soone as lofty as President Ji was only suited to be viewed from afar as a superior, indulging in any notion of caring for him as a friend was rely her own wishful thinking.
Le Tong returned to her seat with a bitter smile, striving to calm her mood.
Originally, she shouldn’t have had any expectations of Ji Rui.
As long as she did her work well and President Ji was satisfied, that was enough.
Why bother giving him unnecessary concern only to end up putting her enthusiastic face against his cold shoulder?

Le Tong couldn’t understand why, after all these years of seeing harshness from others and enduring mockery, soone as pragmatic as herself was still unable to lower her expectations of people.
Therefore, the indifference from many people couldn’t harm her at all.
But why did she foolishly try to please soone like Ji Rui? And she had to admit, it hurt her now.
Le Tong claid she was not soone who liked to curry favor. To her, using ti for minor tricks to please a superior was better spent doing her job well!
So, Le Tong didn’t believe that what she had done privately for Ji Rui all along was purely because he was her superior!
