As the ship sailed, the eerie green coastline drew closer.
They could already see from the ship what was peculiar about the place called the Sea of Moisture.
The seawater had been completely dyed green. If one looked closely with good eyesight, they could see the tangled vines beneath the surface, and various unknown plants growing from the gaps between the vines. These plants filled the spaces, making it seem as if there was land beneath the sea.
The vines indeed looked like they could provide decent footholds.
But sothing was clearly amiss with the Sea of Moisture before them.
Its color was not a vibrant, lush green, but rather an eerie, dim green. It looked dim and murky, lacking any sense of vibrant life.
Naturally, it wasn't their destination, the Land of Spirits.
The Land of Spirits was described as a lush green area. The re sight of it was said to evoke a sense of vibrant life; even the air was rich with its essence.
What lay before them, besides being a dark green marsh, exuded an aura of somber gloom.
An area with such an ominous aura could easily be pinpointed among the three regions. Perhaps, just as Jason had said, this was indeed the Life and Death Boundary, the most dangerous area—the place where the divine Giant Dragon, representing death, had fallen.
Thinking of this, the group couldn't help but look up at Jason, who had his head poking out from the window of the observation tower.
He chuckled awkwardly and silently retracted his head.
"Sound of Dawn, slow down! Prepare to turn the bow!" Alka shouted loudly.
Rated as the most dangerous area, it was best to observe the coastline from afar, without bringing the ship too close. Maintaining a safe enough distance would suffice.
Upon hearing Alka's words, the ship imdiately slowed and then gradually turned its bow.
It began to move off at an angle.
After a while, when they were about two kiloters from the coastline, they adjusted their course to run parallel to it, sailing along one side.
"It seems there's nothing peculiar to see from here, huh?" Simon said, peering through the chanical construct over his eye as he observed so details on the Sea of Moisture from afar.
It looked like a swamp made of plants, only on an absurdly large scale.
"It's different here. The chaos far exceeds that of other places," Julia said, gazing ahead.
Though she no longer believed in Life and had even beco an apostate, the ability to detect environnts was ingrained in her bones, determined by the characteristics of her race. Otherwise, the rfolk Race wouldn't all be environntal guardians under Life itself. They had rely been weakened, so of their abilities related to Life diminished, yet their innate talents and other learned spells remained unaffected.
"Vibrant life force and debilitating death are intermingled here. These two extrely opposing forces have almost fused. How on earth was this accomplished? No wonder this place is called the Life and Death Boundary."
It was just as they had read in the records.
However, after observing the vast, unchanging boundary of the Sea of Moisture for so long, their curiosity had been sated, and it no longer held much interest for them.
They had watched for a long ti, and indeed, there wasn't anything extraordinary to see, perhaps because they were too far from its interior.
Although they could sense danger, they were far enough away.
After watching for over an hour, the group no longer paid special attention but maintained a certain vigilance while attending to their tasks on the ship.
According to what they understood, the Sea of Moisture was absurdly vast. If they were to sail along its edge, it would likely take dozens of days and nights to reach another region.
If the Sea of Moisture were divided into four parts, the Land of Spirits and the Life and Death Boundary each occupied one.
The area of the Life and Death Boundary was about two-thirds the size of the waters around the Gemini Island chain, perhaps even slightly larger.
The problem was that they could only sail along the edge and couldn't cut across it, which ant the journey would take more ti.
The Puppet Girls, no longer lounging as before, began to station themselves at various posts on the ship, always observing the surroundings.

"The Sea of Moisture is also moving, and in the opposite direction to us."
Hearing this, Alka nodded in understanding. If that was the case, the ti they'd spend on the journey would indeed be greatly reduced.
If the Sea of Moisture moved fast enough, it might even cut the ti by half.
Alka entered the observation room and looked into the distance.
Upon closer examination, discerning whether the Sea of Moisture was quickly receding was truly challenging. Because the area was so uniformly verdant green, distinguishing its movent was very difficult.
However, by using a particular region as a reference point, careful calculations would reveal its rapid backward movent. The Sound of Dawn was obviously not sailing at such a speed.
After a brief observation, Alka went to the center of the observation room. He sat down cross-legged beneath the overhead crystal disc and activated the Magic Gathering Stone device.
Magic Power began to converge, and he started to ditate.
However, the ditation hadn't lasted long.
Yi and her teammates nearby, who were conducting observations, began to shake Alka.
