The defensive array composed of Sentry Flying Devices unleashed a dense barrage.

The enemy’s ship only had two thick, long plant vines capable of launching its undead soldiers.

The two plant vines were already whipping about, leaving afterimages, but they could only hurl a few undead soldiers at a ti.

The undead soldiers, hurled through the air, were riddled by dense bullets and beams in mid-air, turning them into sieves before they could land.

As Simon released a few more, clearly customized Sentry Flying Devices, they spewed out long streams of fire, thoroughly preventing these undead creatures from advancing.

"Impressive! When did you build so many?" Jason couldn’t help but turn his head to admire the scene.

Simon chuckled, his eyes fixed on the attack patterns of his constructs.

The main frawork these constructs used was still derived from the Sentry Flying Devices they had acquired on Vastva Island.

However, they now featured many additional accessories or interchangeable modules.

"Is this design really that good?" Alka asked from the side.

He didn’t fully understand, but ever since leaving Vastva, all of Simon’s constructs had utilized this design.

This suggested the design was exceptional enough to warrant his continued use.

Hearing this, Simon nodded and said with a sigh of admiration, "That’s right. These Sentry Flying Devices must be specialized equipnt from Vastva.

"Their design is so excellent; it allows for the creation of the sturdiest and most versatile frawork using the least amount of materials.

"On such a frawork, one can essentially innovate freely, as long as one doesn’t exceed its load-bearing capacity and module interchangeability limits."

Alka nodded upon hearing this.

It wasn’t that this design was necessarily the best or strongest. Rather, anything more powerful wasn’t as simple, consud more resources, or was less practical.

Conversely, designs that consud fewer resources and were simpler couldn’t match its versatility in other functions.

In other words, this frawork achieved a kind of perfection.

This foundational architecture was essentially a universal platform.

"Let’s deliver the final blow to that ship," Alka suggested. "From the looks of it, there’s clearly no possibility for negotiation."

Jason nodded in agreent to Alka’s words.

Simon raised his left arm. His fully chanical limb ford a blue line of Energy that shot out, connecting to the Destruction of Azula mounted on the aftcastle.

His fingertip pulsed faintly as Energy, derived from Treasure and Magic Power, flowed into this highly destructive weapon.

Instantly, all the Spells on Azula activated. It visibly transford, as if it had been upgraded.

Its previously simple barrel, adorned with exquisite engravings, now sported a distinctly futuristic, diamond-like pattern, looking as if it had received an upgrade.

Jason watched, ready. He slightly raised his left hand, aiming with precision.

Then, he forcefully swung his hand down.

With a heavy recoil, a beam of light erupted forth.

In the blink of an eye, it slamd heavily into the enemy ship, which was already tattered and burning.

A brilliant light flared, illuminating the surroundings as if it were day.

Chadite waved his hand, once again shielding everyone from the blinding light.

When all the light completely vanished, only the bow and stern of the enemy ship remained, with scattered debris littering the sea surface.

Its central structure had completely vanished, leaving only shattered remnants in the water.

The ship, now just a bow and stern, had completely lost its ability to navigate and was sinking into the sea.

"Is this its maximum power?" Jason exclaid, shocked by the extent of the destruction.

Within that vast spherical area of destruction, it seed as if nothing could have survived; not a trace remained.

The group continued to scan their surroundings vigilantly.

Only after confirming there were no further enemies did they gather on deck to begin their post-battle review.

"Look at the wreckage of the ship; its appearance sowhat resembles a Ghost Ship," Chadite remarked.

The shattered vessel, its skeletal, undead-like crew, and the structure of a Ghost Ship—they were practically identical.

The only difference was that the once gloomy and bloody flesh-and-bone elents on such ships had been replaced by those green vines and plants.

It seed contradictory, yet also strangely harmonious.

The group gained a certain understanding of this place: undead, representing a resurgence from death, were yet enveloped in plants teeming with vigorous life.

However, this engagent had been a naval battle, so they hadn’t gained much insight into the enemy’s specific capabilities.

At least on the sea, a... plant-infested Ghost Ship like that? It certainly couldn’t cause them much trouble.

Still, its plant-based ranged attacks had so comndable aspects.

Especially the seed volleys that ford a dense barrage; if the ships had been closer, it would undoubtedly have given the enemy a nasty surprise.

But clearly, their ship had never entered that effective range.

As both sides possessed formidable long-range attacks, the battle was concluded from a significant distance.

"Alright, everyone, stay vigilant," Jason instructed.

With that, everyone returned to their posts, ensuring the ship could proceed swiftly towards their destination: the Land of Spirits.

...

DING, DING, DING!

The crisp, yet slightly jarring, sound of a copper bell echoed once more.

Everyone quickly gathered on the deck.
