"It’s okay, it’s fine to miss updating for a day," Jocelyn Morgan told her. "You just focus on getting better. I’ll be by your side every step of the way. Nothing else is as important as you."
Jasmine reached out and gently patted her head, treating her like her own daughter.
"Jocelyn, are you familiar with this Dr. Shelby?" she tried to probe.
Jocelyn thought for a mont. "Not really, why? But if you need anything, he’d definitely help. Doctors are quite kind-hearted."
"I think this young man is pretty good. His profession is great, and he’s a good person too," Jasmine’s mind flashed to the image of Ian Shelby. "He’s handso, without being too feminine, just like... soone with both strength and sensitivity."
From her aunt’s expression, Jocelyn saw her approval and admiration for Ian Shelby, and she imdiately understood.
Rembering the mont she bumped into Ian Shelby’s arms earlier, her heart started racing again. "Auntie, he has a girlfriend, please don’t play matchmaker!"
"Ah?" Jasmine’s heart sank with regret. "He has a girlfriend??"
"Yes."
"Who is she?" Jasmine didn’t want to give up, suspecting the girl was lying. "How do you know his personal affairs? Who is it? You’re making this up, aren’t you?"
"Vera Ford, Dr. Ford!" Jocelyn told her. "If you stay here long enough, you might even see her."
"Sigh..." The middle-aged woman let out a heavy sigh, feeling doubtful about her words.

Jocelyn looked up, "It’s ti to change the dication. There should be one more bottle." Just as she got up to press the call button, the ward door opened.
Jocelyn turned her head, and she and Jasmine both looked towards the door.
Ian Shelby walked in, carrying a laptop in one hand and a bottle of dicine in the other.
He approached the bed and handed the laptop to Jocelyn.
She took it absentmindedly, then watched as he changed the dication, his tall and slender figure seeming to be surrounded by a halo of light.
He carefully adjusted the drip rate. "This needs to be administered slowly, or it will cause a feeling of fullness. It’s a normal sensation, nothing to worry about."
"Okay, thank you, Dr. Shelby." Jasmine lay there watching the young man at the bedside, even admiring him from this angle. He was charming!
His gentleness made people feel at ease, and his voice carried a reassuring strength. Jasmine couldn’t help but like him.
Jocelyn’s gaze was also fixed on him, but Ian Shelby didn’t even glance her way. He left after adjusting the dication.

She snapped back to reality and called to stop him.
From the doorway, Ian Shelby turned his head, and their eyes t.
"Your laptop." She held it out and then stepped over to him.
Ian lowered his gaze to the laptop in her hand and then looked at her. "Aren’t you writing novels?"
"..." Jocelyn was montarily at a loss for words.
But Ian Shelby quickly averted his eyes and walked away without turning back.
"..." Jocelyn stood there at the door, stunned for a while, watching his figure disappear from sight.
"Jocelyn, Dr. Shelby is quite considerate, bringing you the laptop himself!" Jasmine suddenly beca quite cheerful. "Does he like you?"
Jocelyn turned back toward the bed. "Don’t talk nonsense. He has a girlfriend." Her smile held a faint trace of shyness. "It’s impossible; we’re not that close."
"If you’re not close, why would he lend you his laptop? Isn’t it personal?"
"..." She couldn’t answer, not knowing what Ian Shelby was thinking.
"Look, you’re blushing," Jasmine, being an experienced woman, pointed out. "Don’t tell you don’t like him?"
Jocelyn sank into the chair. "Staying away from n is how you stay safe. I’m not even considering romance. Alright, Auntie, I’m going to write now." Then she opened the laptop.
She found that the docunt she had started that day hadn’t been deleted, and for so reason, her heart felt warm again.
