Trevor stopped in front of the elevator, his distinctly long fingers pressed the button for going up, and he didn’t refuse.
While waiting for the elevator, he didn’t remove the girl’s hand either.
Janelle was secretly pleased, but actually, she was nervous too.
Standing in front of him, especially when he’s silent, there’s always an inexplicable sense of pressure.
After a while, the elevator door opened.
Trevor stepped inside, and Janelle followed suit, just like a clingy little rabbit.
The elevator ascended and quickly stopped on the desired floor as the door opened.
Janelle continued to cling to his arm, as if she was already used to it, following him out.
Trevor glanced sideways at her as he walked, not minding, "You can let go now, your mom certainly didn’t follow us up."
Just as Janelle felt a twinge of disappointnt and decided to release her grip, Jocelyn Morgan appeared in the hallway, approaching them.
Jocelyn also happened to see them.
Janelle tightened her grip on Trevor’s arm, rembering the incident that day, feeling a bit awkward.
Trevor stopped in his tracks, tall and slender, looking calmly and gently at the girl not far away.
The girl beside him stopped too and looked towards Jocelyn Morgan.
With grace and confidence, Jocelyn smiled brightly and attractively. Seeing the girl holding Trevor’s arm filled her with genuine happiness—Has Trevor found a girlfriend?
With a smile of blessing, she stopped a ter away from them.
She looked at Trevor, then at the girl beside him, her gaze returned to Trevor’s handso face, and she smiled as she asked, "Are you visiting Ethan today?"
"Yes." Trevor nodded, his face truly calm, as if unaffected by any inner turmoil.
Janelle blinked her beautiful eyes with countless questions inside, earnestly saying to Jocelyn, "I’m sorry, miss."
Jocelyn paused slightly, smiling as she looked at her again, as if she had forgotten about that day.
"That day, I was too abrupt. I’m really sorry." Janelle sincerely apologized, even bowing slightly, "I took up your ti without considering your image, affected your mood, and was all pushy. I was wrong, please forgive !"
Jocelyn couldn’t help but laugh, "I didn’t think much of it, why are you being so formal?" Then she extended her hand, "Hello, I’m Jocelyn Morgan."
Janelle was startled, this girl was so easy to talk to??
She quickly extended her hand, "Hi, I’m Janelle Mills!" Her smile was especially beautiful.
Jocelyn glanced at her a few more tis, finding her particularly adorable and herself suddenly inspired anew creatively; girls with such genuine personalities must be very popular among guys, right?
Seeing Jocelyn again, Trevor felt much more at ease within, after all, he was a grown man well past thirty.
Soon, Ian Shelby appeared in everyone’s line of sight and walked towards them.
When Ian saw them, he slowed his steps, stopped next to Jocelyn, and put his arm around her shoulder.
Jocelyn turned her eyes to him, "Finished with work?"
"Yes."
Trevor and Ian’s gazes t, the atmosphere naturally a bit odd, but Janelle couldn’t discern such oddities.
Ian also noticed the girl beside Trevor, and especially noted the intimate gesture of her holding Trevor’s arm, so has he found soone too?
Ian’s lips curled, he looked at Trevor and said, "Congratulations on finding your other half."
"Thanks." Trevor’s lips curled too, openly accepting the blessing.
Janelle followed with a silly smile, once again turning her gaze to his side profile, from this angle, he looked incredibly handso!
"Shall we go?" Ian patted Jocelyn’s shoulder, speaking to Trevor, "I’ve got so things to handle, we’ll talk later."
"Okay." Trevor nodded.
Then Ian took Jocelyn with him and left.
Janelle pursed her lips.
Trevor moved forward, and Janelle continued to follow beside him.
Hmm, for the first ti, being misunderstood feels quite nice!
