Janelle Mills just looked at him, feeling a bit stunned inside.
Trevor’s eyes held a rare hint of gentleness, but he quickly snapped back to reality, worried she might not be ntally prepared, worried he might scare her.
So, he retracted his gaze and smiled at her, "Hurry up and eat, or it’ll get cold." As he spoke, he picked up his chopsticks.
The girl sat down next to him and inadvertently thought about her mother’s attitude just now, worrying about him even more.
"I’m sorry." Faced with a table full of ticulously prepared dishes, the kind-hearted Janelle Mills felt indebted to him, with no appetite and a terrible mood.

She didn’t hurry upstairs but called her father back downstairs at the hotel, "Hello, Dad."
"Janelle, what’s going on? I’ve been calling, and you didn’t answer." The anxious voice of the middle-aged man ca through.

Hearing that his daughter was fine, he breathed a sigh of relief and incredulously asked, "Your mom also went to Riventhal? What’s she doing there?"
"It’s a long story. Where are you?" Janelle wasn’t in a good mood and wanted to talk to soone.
Her father gave her an address and asked for her specific location, understanding that his daughter wanted to et.
So Nathan Mills said, "Find a café nearby; I’ll be there soon."
"Is it convenient for you so late?" Janelle asked gently; he is married and has a wife at ho.

After the call ended, Janelle Mills glanced toward the hotel, then turned and went to a nearby café.
Soon, Nathan Mills drove over and quickly entered the café, where he saw his daughter.
"Dad." Janelle Mills held a coffee cup, looking at him with so worry; it had been a long ti since this father and daughter had seen each other.
The middle-aged man sat across from her and directly asked, "Where are you staying?"
"A nearby hotel."
"When did you co?" He spoke with concern.
"It’s been a few days." Janelle Mills told him about her mother setting her up on a date with Julian Hawthorne and her own affection for Trevor, so she asked Trevor to be a shield.
And how her mother initially agreed to her being with Trevor, but the matter fell apart because of her father’s phone call.
The daughter didn’t place bla, just told the facts plainly and wanted to find a solution.
Nathan Mills listened intently, finally feeling very upset, "I’m sorry."
