Not wanting to waste his ti, Janelle pursed her lips and quickly walked toward him, her heart fluttering as she got into the passenger seat.
Trevor’s lips were curved in a subtle smile as he helped her close the car door, walked around the vehicle and got into the driver’s seat.
He had a tall and slender physique, his thick, bold eyebrows relaxed, his inherent elegance was always impeccably refined.
He started the car, and the girl glanced at him, her eyelashes long like black feathers, her eyes deep and dark.
The speed wasn’t fast on the road.
A gentle breeze ca through the window, ruffling the girl’s hair and stirring up her spring emotions.
Every minute and second spent with him went by quickly.
No one spoke to break the silence.
Perhaps every minute and second was sweet for him and her, no need to say anything, just being together was enough.
Until the car stopped steadily outside the hotel lobby, Janelle Mills gathered her thoughts, glanced out the window, then at him, "Thank you."
Her politeness made him feel distant.
"I’ll co to pick you up tomorrow morning, pack up," Trevor said to her, "It’ll be about a week."
"That long?" Janelle was slightly stunned, but felt very happy inside.
"Do you not have the ti?" Trevor frowned, slightly puzzled.
"No, no, I’m free." She was hoping for it!
He smiled at her as she quickly unfastened the seatbelt and got out of the car, "See you tomorrow then!" Standing by the car, the girl bent down to wave at him, then closed the car door.
As the car drove away, Janelle turned and walked towards the hotel lobby, her mood jubilant.
The Maybach headed towards The Dalton Group, Trevor’s face turned serious, he took out his phone and glanced at the caller ID, his deep eyes squinting, there were 32 missed calls.
They were all from Simon; he had put his phone on silent earlier.
But he didn’t rush to call back, placing the phone down, he gripped the steering wheel with both hands, pressed the accelerator and sped up.
Janelle humd a tune, skipping through the hotel lobby while the receptionist carefully glanced up, then picked up the phone to dial a number.
Just as Janelle entered the elevator, the call connected, the receptionist softly reported, "Mr. Mills, Miss is back～"
"Is she alone?"
"Yes, she’s gone upstairs, just entered the elevator."
"Alright, if they haven’t gone downstairs for dinner, prepare according to the nu, I’ll deliver it myself."
"Understood."
The call ended.
Nathan Mills was doing his utmost to charm Carlotta Sterling for his daughter’s happiness.
He had once married this woman, so he knew her very well, the typical sharp tongue but soft-hearted, a little ti and effort would suffice.
In the elevator, Janelle considered whether she should inform Sister Sterling that she would be leaving for a week.
If she didn’t explain clearly, would Sister Sterling think she’d gone out to fool around?
