Compared to the joy of that day, Monica Usher’s mood when leaving Clearwater Bay today was quite mixed.
It was her fault for not being calm enough, bringing up feelings again in front of Justin Kingston.

Justin accompanied his mother back to her room and played a ga of chess with her, the atmosphere was especially good until Kristina Kingston said, "Justin, it’s getting late, and you still have work to do tomorrow. You should get so rest early, alright?"

He bid her good night and then exited the bedroom.
He knew his mother wouldn’t co out again, so he found Gigi and Dolly, and whispered to them, "Mommy wants to see you. Do you want to see mommy?"
"Mhm mhm."
"Of course I do! I really do, really do!"
"Shh!"
The kids were too excited. Even though they could see her during the day, they had to pretend not to know her, which was really hard to bear.
Justin gave the kids a few instructions, then took them to Cora Yates’s room.
Locking the door behind, she removed her mask and turned around to hug the kids, "My darlings."
"Mommy!"
The kids also hugged her tightly, the warmth from their mother’s embrace was so familiar.
Though the reunion was brief, Mia Lane felt very satisfied!
She gently stroked the children’s faces and led them to sit on the sofa. She accidentally noticed that Gigi had a cavity, "Co, open your mouth for a look!"
"What’s wrong?" Gigi hesitated to open his mouth, sensing sothing unpleasant.
She reached out and pinched her son’s chin, "Open up, let mommy see if there’s a cavity?"
Gigi looked sidelong at his dad, then embarrassedly turned to his mom and obediently opened his mouth.
Mia Lane peered inside, her face softening from her previous gentle deanor, "Have you been eating sweets these days? And not brushing your teeth properly?"
"..." The little guy blinked, wanting to lie, but his mom was a doctor.
She then turned her gaze to her daughter, "Dolly, you open your mouth for a look too!"
Dolly was scared and also glanced at her dad, then obediently opened her mouth.
Mia Lane cast a stern glance at Justin, then looked into her daughter’s mouth. Oh my! Another cavity!
She stood up, planted her hands on her hips, and glared at Justin with an accusatory look!
"The candy wasn’t bought by dad, don’t bla dad," Gigi bravely tugged at her clothes.
Dolly wrapped her arms around her, "Mommy, it’s not dad’s fault!"
A few days without a hug, yet they were siding with their dad?
"Are there any more candies?" she reached out her hand, "Hand them over, all of them!"
Justin rubbed his forehead and nodded, "I’ll go get them." Then turned and left.
Hey! Dad! What did you admit to?
What will you eat if you give them up?
He’s really under mommy’s thumb!
Soon, Justin ca in with a large bag of candies, obediently handing them to his wife.
"You really are sothing!" She was utterly aggrieved, "At their age where they’re changing teeth, they shouldn’t eat sweets! Spoiling them is harming them, you know?!"
"I was wrong." Justin sincerely admitted, "I promise not to buy them anymore."
What??
The kids inwardly protested!
The CEO of Kingston Group, acting so sheepishly when admitting fault?
Mia Lane confiscated the candies, but it didn’t affect her relationship with the kids.
She embraced them, asking about their school life, what the teacher taught, what gas they played, what they ate at school, and how they were getting along with their grandmother?
Watching her exude a maternal glow, Justin felt simply at peace with life.
Marrying such a wife was truly one of life’s greatest blessings.
In Kristina Kingston’s bedroom, the air was filled with a strong scent of roses, as Mary had just arranged them.
Being in there was like stepping into a sea of roses... various crystal vases were filled with roses of different colors.
Indeed, Kristina was in a very good mood tonight.
