It’s nine now, and Finn Morgan hasn’t gone to the company; he’s already taken leave from CEO Kingston.
He’s currently cooking noodles for her in the kitchen, intending to call her up once he’s done, and it’s just about ready...
Finn Morgan inadvertently turns his eyes and sees the girl standing at the kitchen door on one leg, her hand on the door fra, looking at him in surprise.
"Why didn’t you go to work?" Hailey Hale asks unexpectedly.
Finn Morgan retracts his gaze and starts to fish the noodles into a bowl, calmly replying, "I didn’t plan on going today."
"..." This leaves her utterly dumbfounded, given Finn Morgan’s dedication, shouldn’t he be working year-round without rest?
Soon, he cos over with two bowls of noodles, and with the apron on, he exudes a sort of warm-hearted vibe and still looks handso.
She quickly steps aside, and after Finn Morgan places the noodles on the dining table, he glances back at her, "Didn’t the doctor say you shouldn’t get out of bed?"
"An expert’s words aren’t absolute." She quickly thinks and responds casually, "The injured leg didn’t touch the ground."
"Does it still hurt?"
"A little, negligible," Hailey Hale looks at him, feeling that today’s Finn Morgan seems a bit different than usual.
He takes off the apron to wash his hands, and his tall profile looks even more stunning in the morning sunlight.
After washing his hands, Finn Morgan sees her still standing there dazed, "Have so noodles. Have you washed your face and brushed your teeth?" Seeing her ssy hair, she probably just got up.
"Where’s my phone?"
"Over there, have breakfast first."
She turns to hop towards the bedroom, and five minutes later, she cos out again, "Hand my phone, please."
Finn Morgan hands it to her.
As she sits down and unlocks it, she notices the wallpaper changed!!
"Why?" Hailey Hale looks up in bewildernt at him, "Why did you touch my phone?" "Did you take it just to stop from binge-watching shows!"
"I thought a girl like you should pursue mainstream stuff," Finn Morgan sits across from her, explaining gently.
"What kind of girl?" She puts down the phone and picks up chopsticks, "What’s mainstream?"
"Mainstream is the main the, like... Lei Feng."
"..." Hailey Hale is stunned for a few seconds and suddenly feels like laughing, "Then is your screensaver Lei Feng?"
"I can change it," Finn Morgan looks at her, seriously saying, "Wanna change together?"
Before she answers, he picks up her phone again, "Co on, unlock it."
She really wants to laugh but can’t bring herself to get mad, after all, he’s taken a day off for her and even cooked so delicious noodles.
So, Hailey Hale unlocks it, and Finn Morgan really changes it to Lei Feng’s portrait for her.
And he changes his phone to the sa one.
"Why didn’t you go to the company?" Hailey Hale asks, eating noodles as she sets the phone aside.
Isn’t it obvious? Because I can’t stop worrying about you, Finn Morgan just glances at her and picks up his chopsticks too.
Then the two eat noodles in silence...
After breakfast, Hailey Hale asks again, "You’re not going to the company today?"
"No," he replies, "I’ll make you lunch later, change your dressings, stay to take care of you."
Her heart warms, and she feels a touch of tenderness spreading in her heart.
Finn Morgan, however, lightly says, "Isn’t your mom coming back? So you need to recover quickly, can’t worry her, right?"
"But... but it’s such a hassle for you," Hailey Hale sighs lightly, "If you’re worried, you could send to Dr. Shelby to stay for a few days!"

Finn Morgan looks up at her, controlling the emotions stirring within him as he says, "You don’t know him that well, it’s better not to trouble others too much."
"I just don’t want to take up your ti," she genuinely thinks, "there’s so much work at the company..."
"CEO Kingston will handle it, it’ll run without ."
Hailey Hale casually replies, "You make it seem like I’d die without you."
