"The discharge procedures are done," Finn Morgan said, "We can leave anyti."
"lissa, your mom made your favorite breakfast, so we can go back now." Hailey walked towards her, "This bouquet is for you, congratulations on getting discharged."
"Thank you." lissa sat up, holding the sunflowers Hailey gave her, feeling a mix of emotions.
Getting up and heading downstairs, Finn opened the front passenger door.
"I want to sit in the front," lissa deliberately said.
Hailey opened the backseat door, "Alright, I won’t fight you for it." Then she slipped into the car.
lissa got into the front seat, but didn’t feel very satisfied. It was her first ti being so close to Finn, sitting in the spot she had longed for, yet her heart still felt empty.
Hailey sat in the back like a third wheel, and Finn kept glancing at her through the rearview mirror, observing her expression.
lissa saw his heart wasn’t really here, so she turned her gaze to the passing scenery outside the window, feeling a bit sad again...
Who was moved by her persistence? At most, it moved herself.
Once he took her ho, Finn would probably take Hailey away, right? Who knows when they would et again.
Gradually, she began to accept this reality.
Letting them be together might well be letting herself go.
In The Monroe Family villa kitchen, Claudia and Zachary rce were busy from early on, the couple wasn’t talking, both making the food their daughter usually liked.

Looking at the table filled with sumptuous breakfast, Claudia felt a pinch at her nose and couldn’t help but secretly wipe her tears.
"Alright, don’t cry, they’re almost here." Zachary kept the sadness in his heart.
Just as he finished speaking, Finn’s car parked in The Monroe Family villa yard, the beautiful morning light reflecting on the car body.
lissa hadn’t even gotten out of the car and felt that things were different here, "Rearranged?"
The pots that hadn’t changed in twenty years had also been moved, leaving her baffled.
The car door opened, everyone got out, and The Monroe Family elders ca out from the living room to greet them.
"Dad, Mom, why make such big changes to the yard?"
"Hello Uncle, Hello Auntie."
Finn and Hailey greeted in unison.
"For aesthetics," Claudia replied to her daughter, then looked at Finn and Hailey, "Co in quickly, breakfast is ready."
Actually, a master was consulted for her to ward off disasters and cure illnesses, hence the changes.
"Mom, why are your eyes red?" lissa noticed keenly.
Claudia quickly put on a smile, "The wind was strong earlier, blew so sand in, it’s nothing, let’s hurry inside."
Not suspecting anything, they all went into the villa together, arriving at the dining room.
The table full of sumptuous breakfast made lissa very happy, she was as joyful as a child, "Great, all my favorites!"
"Finn, Hailey, co sit down," Claudia invited them.
lissa joyfully added, "You have to try everything, it really tastes good!" It was her first ti being so friendly to Hailey.
Everyone chatted, exchanged pleasantries, sat down at the dining table, and began today’s al.
The dining atmosphere was alright, lissa didn’t speak much, just coughed a few tis, her throat still uncomfortable.
"Dad, Mom, I’m heading upstairs first." After breakfast, lissa didn’t say goodbye to Finn and Hailey, and turned to head upstairs.
Zachary received a call and also drove away.
At the living room entrance, Claudia was seeing off Finn and Hailey...
In front of the second-floor floor-to-ceiling window, lissa stood on tiptoe, almost pressing her eyes to the glass, yet she could only vaguely see Hailey’s figure, couldn’t hear what they were saying at all.
So, she turned and went downstairs.
