As she reached the stairs, she took careful, quiet steps downward, straining her ears to catch their conversation.
"Finn, Hailey, thank you both." Claudia couldn’t help but tear up again, "If you have ti, I hope you can spend more ti with her."
"Hailey, thank you for your tolerance and understanding. Please forgive the mistakes I made in the past."
"Auntie, don’t say that." Hailey Hale’s tone was light, "I’ve forgotten the unpleasant things."
lissa rce descended the staircase, feeling sothing was odd.
After a while, Finn Morgan and Hailey Hale left, and her mother also went into the living room. lissa hid behind the door and watched as her mother went upstairs.
Her throat suddenly felt uncomfortable, she coughed a couple of tis, and hurriedly grabbed a tissue to cover her mouth.

Upstairs, her mother entered her room, "Cindy? Cindy?" Glancing around, she didn’t see anyone, "Strange, where did she go?"
Clearly, she hadn’t gone out just now!

Downstairs, the girl quickly threw away the blood-stained tissue, regaining her composure, and put away all her suspicions and unease.
She looked up towards the corner of the staircase, "Mom."
"Weren’t you upstairs? When did you co down?"
"Mom," lissa said with a smile, her tone relaxed, "I’ve arranged to et a classmate, planning to go out for so fresh air, I’ll be back soon."
"Don’t go out." Claudia was very anxious.
"Why?" The girl was surprised.
But she couldn’t answer, "..."
The sense of unease made lissa certain she needed to visit the hospital.
She took out her phone to check the ti, "I’m leaving now, I’ll be back soon! Rember to make lunch!" After speaking, she took the car keys from the coffee table and turned to leave the living room.
"Cindy!"
Claudia worriedly followed to the living room door, but her daughter had already gotten into the car, and it quickly drove away.
She stood at the door for a long ti, still unable to believe that soone recovering so well could only have one month to live?

Her figure appeared sowhat desolate; her whole being seed wasted, and her coughing gradually worsened...until she finally collapsed.
