Hailey Hale put herself into lissa’s shoes, thought a lot about it, and ended up sleeping very late.
The next morning.
Finn Morgan got up early, looked at the ti on his wrist, and drove over to pick her up.
The alarm went off, and Hailey Hale got up early as well, washed up, and went downstairs.
"Hailey." Dennis Hale stood in the living room with a cup of warm water, looking at her kindly, "Up so early?"
"Yes, Dad."
Dennis Hale didn’t ask where she was going, "You get along well with Justin Kingston’s kids?"
"You an Gigi and Dolly?" Hailey Hale answered happily, "I’ve known them for a long ti, why?"
"Nothing, just asking." Dennis Hale replied casually.
"Oh."
Hailey Hale didn’t think much of it, changed her shoes at the door, "I’m going to Veridia with Finn Morgan, things are a bit complicated with lissa, tell mom later."
"Alright."
Dennis Hale had been quite busy lately, so he wasn’t strict with his daughter.
As soon as Hailey left, Paige ca out, "What did she just say? Things are complicated with lissa? How complicated can it be?"
"Oh, young people’s affairs, let’s not worry about it." Dennis Hale was democratic, "Anyway, Finn Morgan is with her, and Hailey is not soone who would suffer losses, let her go."
What else can be done? She’s already gone.
On the way to Veridia, Finn Morgan was flying the helicopter, with Hailey sitting in the cockpit.
Gazing at his incredibly handso face from the side, Hailey remarked, "You can even fly a plane?"
"I can also drive a tank, do you believe that?"
"I don’t believe it!" Hailey shook her head, "You’ve never even co close!"
"Who said that?" Finn Morgan glanced at her with a serious face, "I was in the military!"
"Really?"
"Of course it’s true."
Hailey grew fonder of him, feeling his charm had increased a few notches.
But thinking about lissa’s situation, silence prevailed between them.
"Could you tell more about lissa?" Hailey was a bit curious, "You’ve known her for a long ti, right?"
"Since I can rember, she’s been in my life." Finn Morgan didn’t hide it, "Our parents were friends and had business dealings, so she often ca to my house with Uncle rcer, sotis staying over."
Hearing this, Hailey felt envious.
"lissa is quite independent, though she’s an only child, her family always doted on her."
Then Finn Morgan recounted so stories from their childhood, and Hailey was even more impressed by lissa.
"Finn, have you thought about having a wedding with lissa?" Hailey suddenly had this idea.
Finn Morgan was taken aback, "Are you crazy?"
"..." The girl was startled by his intense reaction.
"There’s no way I would marry her," Finn Morgan said frankly, "Even if it were just pretense, marriage is sacred, how can it involve deceit?"
Hailey blinked innocently, pursed her lips, and the topic ended there.
