But this mont was fleeting because Mia quickly ca to her senses.
Justin Kingston also ca over, putting his arm around her shoulder, leading her to interact with the mbers of the design departnt and the people from The Dalton Group.
Everyone exchanged greetings and made so small talk.
"I’ll leave my wife in your capable hands," Justin said, his features carved and refined. "I hope you’ll et her needs unconditionally."
"Absolutely," David Dalton assured, "Rest easy, CEO Kingston. Our guests will be well taken care of. The office is already set up; President Lane, please follow ."
Mia glanced at Justin, "You go back first; no need to escort us upstairs. You’re busy, and I’m not a child."
With just a few short sentences, they shared so PDA that made everyone envious.
Justin waved to everyone, kissed Mia’s forehead, and then turned back to his car.
"President Lane, this way please."
David Dalton was very polite, wanting to take a closer look at her for a few seconds but afraid of being presumptuous. He was also trying to control his emotions.
Although The Dalton Group isn’t as wealthy as The Kingston Group, the office environnt is quite good; presumably, the president has discerning tastes.
Taking the elevator upstairs, David Dalton and the executives led them to the newly arranged office.
The courtyard-style arrangent had a strong Chinese aesthetic, and there was the sound of flowing water.
"Hello, President Lane." Trevor was waiting there, tall and with a cold deanor.
Yet still very polite, "I’m Trevor, Special Assistant to President Dalton. For the next month, if you need anything, feel free to just tell ."
As he was speaking, Mia kept observing him and had a good overall impression of him.
Trevor was the last to leave, as David Dalton had a eting to attend, so he left first.
"President Lane, do you like fish?" Trevor approached the fish tank, "I brought these on my own initiative, not knowing if you’d like them. If not, I can have them removed imdiately."
"I like them," Mia smiled at him, "Thank you, Special Assistant Trevor."
"Just call Trevor," he said, "Everyone in the company calls Trevor."
In just a few minutes of interaction, Trevor left a good impression on the design departnt of The Kingston Group.
Once he left, Edie started swooning, "He’s so composed and rather handso!"
"And he holds a high position, being a right-hand man to the president. The main point is that he’s young!"
"Can compete with Special Assistant Morgan, though Morgan is more easygoing. Trevor has a bit of coldness."
"Coldness is even more attractive, you know? Look how cold our CEO Kingston is. His gaze alone could kill."
Doris couldn’t help sharing her thoughts, "I wonder if a month’s ti will spark so romance here!" She was quite expectant.
At that mont, Drew, the only male designer, spoke up, "You can’t manage your own Special Assistant Morgan, so you can only look at other people’s handso n!"
"You jinx!" Doris retorted directly, "Can you speak sothing nice?"
"Why don’t you show ?" Drew laughed out loud deliberately.
Even the quiet Skye spoke up, "Alright, we’re here to work. Let’s follow President Lane’s arrangents."
"Stop swooning; two hundred dresses in a month is no easy task," Edie also said, "Don’t let them underestimate us."
Mia smiled, settling into her office chair, "The environnt here is nice; they really put effort into it." All of this must have been arranged by Dad?
She suddenly realized that her father’s office was next door, she was so close to him...
"It’s mainly spacious and comfortable to sit in," Drew said.
"President Lane, shall we start now?"
Mia snapped back to reality, opened her computer, "Let’s first study their previous dress designs, see what similarities and differences they have in style. The information is in the shared email, I compiled it last night."
The five of them gave her a thumbs up—
"Impressive speed!"
