"I’ve finished." Skye, always composed, looked up and said, "These designs are pretty average, nothing particularly standout."
Drew twirled a pen with his left hand, gripped the mouse with his right, eyes glued to the screen, "Calling them average is generous; they’re practically garbage! Even our rejected drafts look better!"
Mia Lane listened to their opinions and didn’t argue, "Edie, what do you think?"
"Didn’t fancy a single one." Edie was blunt, "These designers are below my level."
Then Doris spoke up, "President Lane, I think the Dalton Group’s people have a problem with aesthetics, probably due to President Dalton’s age, which is why these outfits pass his review."
"Yeah, if it were CEO Kingston’s taste, we’d definitely need a redesign!"
"President Lane, with their level of appreciation, we’re definitely being underutilized."
After hearing so much, Mia Lane finally spoke, "The past designs really weren’t great, but since we’re collaborating, we can’t slack off, we must bring our best."
"We represent Kingston Group, we can’t let others find fault with us, can we?"
Mia Lane also said, "I’ll personally review all of your drafts, then pass them to CEO Kingston for re-review, and pay according to design quality."
"Ah??" Doris was shocked, "Seems like you’re going all out?"
"Yes."
Helping her father with his work, how could she not go all out?
anwhile, a Maserati was parked ostentatiously downstairs, and Sean Dalton, ticulously dressed, stepped into the elevator in her sky-high heels.
Her figure was alluring, red lips like flas.
Upon reaching the floor of her father’s office, she stepped out of the elevator and headed straight for the newly arranged vacant office.
She had crossed paths with Mrs. Kingston, Mia Lane, a few tis before, and absolutely disliked her.
Her, coming to the Dalton Group for design? Heard the pay is quite good? Even her father treats her with courtesy?
As Sean Dalton walked past the door to the CEO’s office, Trevor happened to look up unintentionally and caught a glimpse of her.
He stopped his work, stood up, and followed her out!
Sean Dalton didn’t knock, she directly entered Mia Lane’s office.
Upon hearing footsteps, the six people busy working lifted their heads, their eyes falling on Sean Dalton.
Not a single person was surprised, excited, or scread!
Five seconds, ten seconds passed, Sean Dalton felt as if she’d been doused with a bucket of cold water!
This made her, used to being the center of attention, feel very uncomfortable, "Are you Kingston Group people this rude? Do you not know who I am?"
It’s utterly baffling! Everyone looked at each other and then turned their gaze to President Lane.
Mia Lane calmly t Sean Dalton’s eyes, sitting in her office chair, still holding the mouse in her right hand.
"Let tell you sothing!" Sean Dalton strutted a couple of steps, confidently crossed her arms, "Standing here, I’m not just a top actress, I’m the big miss of the Dalton Group, and you all didn’t even greet ?"
Sean Dalton thought she was quite intimidating, with eyes that could kill.
Yet the designers only raised their eyebrows, everyone felt she was like a jumping jack clown.
Just as Drew wanted to retaliate with so remarks, he saw President Lane stand up, a slight smile on her lips, "What brings you here today, Miss Dalton?"
"Not Miss Dalton." Sean Dalton smirked, stressing, "It’s the big miss, President Dalton’s daughter, Dalton Group’s heiress."
Outside the door, Trevor furrowed his brow, what does this woman want? Does she even know Mia Lane’s status?
She is Mrs. Kingston!
