Seeing Joan Graham stand at the door with a worried look on her face, Sean Dalton couldn’t help but wonder, "What’s wrong with you?"
"Your father is back." She gently reminded him.
"Oh." Passing by his mother, Sean Dalton stepped inside, "I recently took on a new drama, I might not be ho as often starting tomorrow."
Joan turned and grabbed her arm, a trace of worry in her eyes—
"Your dad wants you to find him in the study."
Sean Dalton stopped and turned her eyes, eting her mother’s gaze, as she asked, "He looks a bit upset, have you done sothing to make him angry?"
Sean Dalton’s chest tightened slightly, "..."
"Go upstairs quickly, don’t delay." Joan was very worried, "I’m just reminding you." Yet she dared not neglect it.
Upstairs, in front of the study’s floor-to-ceiling windows, David Garcia coldly stared at the car in the yard, his expression very unpleasant.
Sean Dalton climbed the stairs with an uneasy heart.
On the stairs, she looked back every few steps; Joan downstairs was quite worried about her daughter, yet felt powerless.
Because David had never shown this severe expression at ho, if her daughter had really done sothing wrong, even as her mother, she couldn’t protect her.
And Sean Dalton, she racked her brain but couldn’t think of anything else, was it because she went to the company to find Mia Lane today?
Did Mia complain to Dad?
What did Mia say? Did Dad believe it? Would Mia sar Sean Dalton?
With all kinds of conjectures swirling in her mind, she unconsciously arrived outside the study door.
The study door was open.
She instantly saw her father standing by the window with hands behind his back, his authoritative silhouette emanating a touch of seriousness, as if the door was open just to wait for her.
Sean Dalton straightened up, collected the panic in her eyes, knocked on the door, and then stepped inside, "Dad."
Her tone was as usual.
David Garcia didn’t move in front of the window, his expression even more grim.
"What do you need for?" She approached her father from behind, trying to stay calm.
The study was so quiet you could hear a pin drop.
David Garcia still stood with hands behind his back, as if not hearing her words, actually not wanting to respond, he was indeed angry.
This silence caused Sean Dalton’s ntal defenses to collapse little by little, her eyes darted around, suddenly feeling scared.
"...Dad?" She plucked up the courage to softly call again.
The middle-aged man finally turned his eyes, an icy gleam flashed! When their eyes t, she was so scared her throat tightened.
"The version Trevor told is completely different from yours." David Garcia said in a deep voice, "Explain yourself regarding this matter."
Facing her father’s scrutiny, Sean Dalton felt uneasy, "Dad, I..." For a mont she didn’t know how to explain.
Damn it, it’s really about Mia Lane!
"You can’t fully trust Trevor’s words either." She began to defend herself, "After all, he’s never quite liked , he..."
"Then why doesn’t he like you?" David Garcia asked directly, sparing no feelings.
"..." The question left her speechless and humiliated.
David Garcia rcilessly said, "You need to find the reason in yourself, Trevor’s excellence is evident to all."
So, is Dad siding with Trevor?
But Trevor is just an outsider! Sean Dalton was very dissatisfied!
"Listen up." David Garcia, knowing the truth of the matter, didn’t want to pursue it further; there was no point in hearing his daughter admit her mistake.
Sean Dalton bit her lip and listened carefully.
"From today on, you’re not allowed to go to the company anymore." David Garcia said firmly, "I’ll inform the guards, even if you go, you won’t get in."
Pain flashed in Sean Dalton’s eyes, for Mia Lane, Dad could actually treat her this way??
Even though she was unwilling in her heart, seeing her father still angry, she didn’t argue back.
"Did you hear ?!"
"I heard, Dad." Sean Dalton was so startled by his shout, her heart almost jumped out.
David Garcia still had a stern face, he glared at her fiercely, then sat down at the desk, "Leave." His voice was still cold.
"Yes."
Sean Dalton turned to leave, biting her lower lip, her heart full of hatred for Mia Lane!
At the company, Mia Lane is already so arrogant, and she even complained to Dad!
Hmph! Isn’t it just because of Mrs. Kingston? What’s so great about that?
