"Alright, you two can go rest. I’ll notify you if there’s a mission," Lin Zhan said to Lin Kuang and Mu Wan.

The pair nodded and left together. Watching them go, Lin Zhan smiled and shook his head before packing up his laptop and departing.

"Wan’er, my dear, where are we headed next?" Lin Kuang asked, looking at Mu Wan with a beaming smile.

"I’m not sure. I was planning to go ho first. I haven’t been back in over a year, so my parents are probably worried sick. Besides," she added, rolling her eyes at him, "don’t you think it’s ti you ca with to et them?"

"Uh... ahem... et your parents *now*? I’m not quite prepared for that. Although I’m so handso, they’re guaranteed to approve." He started with a hint of worry, but his shalessness quickly took over.

Hearing his words, Mu Wan gave him an exasperated look. "A person shouldn’t be so shaless!"

"Toothless? How could that be?" Lin Kuang chuckled, flashing two rows of pristine white teeth at Mu Wan. "Look at my pearly whites. So bright, right?"

Mu Wan was rendered utterly speechless. This bastard isn’t just shaless—he’s brazen to the extre. Calling him shaless is an insult to the word itself!

"Stop ssing around. Are you coming or not?" she asked, clearly annoyed.

"Of course I’m coming! How could I refuse? But let’s visit Feifei first. That girl really misses you," Lin Kuang said with a smile.

"Oh, Feifei! You’re right. It’s been so long, we should go see her," Mu Wan agreed, her pretty face lighting up at the thought of her dear friend, Huo Feifei.

With that decided, they headed to Huo Feifei’s office. Given their status, getting in was a simple matter.

When Lin Kuang knocked and opened the door, the sight of Mu Wan left Huo Feifei completely stunned.

"S-Sister Wan’er?" Huo Feifei stamred in disbelief, her mouth agape and eyes wide.

"Yes, Feifei. We et again," Mu Wan said, spreading her arms as she walked toward her.

At this, Huo Feifei grew ecstatic and rushed forward to embrace Mu Wan tightly.

"Sister Wan’er, you’re really alive! You didn’t die! This is wonderful!" Huo Feifei exclaid joyfully, tears of excitent welling up in her large eyes.

Mu Wan gently patted Huo Feifei’s back, her own eyes reddening slightly. "Alright, alright, don’t cry. See? I’m perfectly fine," she comforted her softly.

"Yeah, Feifei, stop crying or your face will get all smudged like a little kitten’s," Lin Kuang joked from the side.

At his words, Huo Feifei sniffled a couple of tis and wiped the tears from her pretty face. With a smile now breaking through, she said, "I’m so happy you’re back, Sister Wan’er."

"I’m happy to see you too. You’ve grown so beautiful, Feifei," Mu Wan replied with a smile.

"Not at all. Compared to you, Sister Wan’er, I can’t even compare," Huo Feifei said, her cheeks blushing adorably.

"How could that be? Look at Brother Kuang. He can’t take his eyes off you," Mu Wan teased with a smile.

Hearing this, Huo Feifei snuck a glance at Lin Kuang and saw that he really was staring at her, causing her cheeks to turn an even deeper shade of red.

"N-no, he’s just looking because I was crying," she stamred, her face flushed.

"Co on now, why are you always so shy? Do you have anything important to do today? If not, co shopping with . I need to buy so new clothes," Mu Wan asked with a smile.

"Yes, of course, Sister Wan’er! Let just delegate my tasks, and I’ll be ready to go," Huo Feifei replied quickly.

"Alright, go ahead. I’ll wait for you here," Mu Wan said with a smile.

Huo Feifei nodded and left.

"Ouch! Hey! What did you pinch for?" Lin Kuang yelped, grimacing in pain after a sudden pinch from Mu Wan.

"Serves you right. Looks like little Feifei won’t be escaping your grasp either, hmm? It’s obvious she likes you. And from the looks of it, you’re quite interested in her too, aren’t you?" Mu Wan teased with a half-smile.

"Ahem, Wan’er, have I told you that you’re getting more beautiful and enchanting by the day?" Lin Kuang said with a cheesy grin.

Mu Wan rolled her eyes, unimpressed. "You flirt. Stop trying to change the subject. To think that after more than a year, your way with the ladies has only gotten stronger."

As she spoke, Mu Wan looked Lin Kuang up and down with a smirk that made his hair stand on end. He was overco with a bad feeling, a premonition that sothing terrible was about to happen, and he instinctively took two steps back.

Just then, Huo Feifei hurried back, an irrepressible smile on her pretty face.

"Brother Kuang, Sister Wan’er, I’ve arranged everything. We can go now," she said cheerfully.

"Alright, let’s go," Mu Wan replied with a smile. The two won turned and started walking, leaving a slightly dejected Lin Kuang to follow behind them.

Since I can’t have a beauty in each arm, watching their exquisite figures from behind while indulging in so adult fantasies is the next best thing.

Lin Kuang drove the two won ho. Upon arriving, he introduced them to the Old Master before they all headed to his room.

"Find sothing to wear. I’m going to take a shower," Mu Wan said, glancing at Lin Kuang.

"Yes, my queen!" Lin Kuang declared, snapping to attention with a salute.

"Oh, stop it and just find sothing," Mu Wan said, rolling her eyes.

"But I only have a white tracksuit. It’s unisex, though," Lin Kuang said, putting on an innocent look.

"That’s fine. It’ll do for now. We can buy more clothes later," Mu Wan decided after a mont’s thought.

Lin Kuang nodded and quickly fetched the white tracksuit for her. It was, of course, the sa one Zhantai Mingyue had worn a few days ago.

"Okay, I’m going to shower. You two wait for here," Mu Wan announced, grabbing the tracksuit and walking off as if she owned the place.

In truth, this was far from the first ti Mu Wan had stayed over; she was more familiar with the Lin Family estate than her own ho.

Watching her leave, Lin Kuang mused helplessly, "Why is she becoming more and more of a tomboy?"

"What’s wrong? You don’t like it, Brother Kuang?" Huo Feifei asked curiously.

"How could I possibly not like it?" Lin Kuang replied, rolling his eyes.
