Lin Kuang didn’t mind his woman hugging a friend, but this hug was lasting a bit too long. It’s been several minutes already. Is this a hug? This is more like him trying to stake a claim on my woman!
Hearing Lin Kuang’s words, Mu Wan was slightly startled because she had been about to speak up herself. A sense of triumph filled her heart when she heard the sour note in his voice.
"Brother Bai, let introduce you." Saying this, Mu Wan took the opportunity to step out of Bai Longming’s embrace. Standing between the two n, she introduced them with a smile. "This is my boyfriend, Lin Kuang. Lin Kuang, this is Bai Longming, a childhood friend of mine."
Upon hearing this, Lin Kuang stood up with a smile and extended his hand. "Mr. Bai, nice to et you."
Bai Longming stared blankly at the scene before him. He had never imagined Mu Wan would have a boyfriend.
He had thought Mu Wan was dead. Now that she was back alive, an indescribable excitent filled his heart. Regaining sothing one had lost was an incredibly wonderful feeling. Bai Longming had even begun to imagine that he could win Mu Wan over and be with her. However, he never would have guessed that she already had a boyfriend. Moreover, she had brought him ho, and from the looks of it, both sets of parents had already given their consent!
At this thought, Bai Longming’s expression soured considerably. His heart was filled with a chaotic mix of feelings. Still, he was not willing to give up. As the saying goes, those closest get the first chance. He had spent so much ti with Mu Wan, yet she had ended up with soone else. The thought was galling.
Composing himself, Bai Longming reached out and clasped Lin Kuang’s hand. "Nice to et you, Mr. Lin."
The mont their hands clasped, a trendous force surged from Bai Longming’s palm as he sought to teach Lin Kuang a lesson.
Feeling the imnse force from the handshake, Lin Kuang felt anger brewing inside him. If that force were applied to an ordinary person’s hand, it would surely break bones and tear ligants. Fortunately, Lin Kuang was no ordinary person, but Bai Longming’s actions still enraged him. He was already annoyed about the hug, and now this guy was trying to start sothing. How could he not be angry?
With that thought, Lin Kuang sneered inwardly. The next mont, he abruptly increased his strength, and a force even more powerful than Bai Longming’s surged from his own hand.
Bai Longming had intended to teach Lin Kuang a lesson, but he hadn’t anticipated the force from his opponent’s hand would be so overwhelming. So he’s an expert, too. Let’s see just how strong you are! Bai Longming thought, increasing the pressure in his grip to match Lin Kuang head-on.
Feeling the increased force from Bai Longming’s hand, Lin Kuang sneered inwardly. If he had backed off when he had the chance, I would have let this go. But since he insists on being shaless, I’m not going to stand for it. If you’re looking for a beating, I’ll oblige!
With that thought, the power within Lin Kuang surged like a raging sea, flooding into Bai Longming’s hand.
Instantly, Bai Longming’s expression changed drastically. A look of horror flashed in his eyes, and his face turned beet red from the strain. Lin Kuang watched him with a calm expression, a hint of mockery in his gaze. Seeing this, Bai Longming’s flushed face beca extrely ugly. He had wanted to put Lin Kuang in his place, but he had been outplayed instead. It was utterly infuriating.
Amid his fury, Bai Longming also sensed the formidable power emanating from Lin Kuang, which shocked him. He didn’t want to give up—that would be too embarrassing—but if he persisted, his hand would be ruined.
Just then, Mu Wan suddenly spoke up with a smile. "Alright, you’re grown n. Why are you holding hands for so long?" She had already seen that they were competing and made the comnt to break it up without exposing them.
Hearing this, Lin Kuang slowly released the pressure in his hand, and Bai Longming wisely withdrew his own force as well.
After sitting back down on the sofa, Lin Kuang said with a grin, "This Mr. Bai is quite impressive."
At these words, Bai Longming’s unpleasant expression grew even uglier. Lin Kuang was clearly mocking him, which made him furious.
"Mr. Lin isn’t so bad yourself," Bai Longming retorted with a cold laugh.
"Yes, I think you should know that very well by now," Lin Kuang replied, smiling smugly.
Bai Longming was left speechless. Indeed, their brief test had proved he was no match for Lin Kuang. That was sothing he couldn’t deny.
"Hmph, brute strength isn’t everything," Bai Longming said, looking at Lin Kuang. "I can see you’re an expert as well, Mr. Lin. How about we go outside and have a proper match?" In his heart, Bai Longming still refused to accept defeat; otherwise, he wouldn’t have issued such a challenge.
"Oh? Sure, if you like," Lin Kuang said with a laugh. There are always people in this world who think they’re strong. They can’t stand losing or being outdone. It’s only when they witness what true power is that they realize their own ignorance!
"Of course, I’m more than willing," Bai Longming insisted.
Seeing this, Mu Wan couldn’t help but frown. Her own strength was nothing to scoff at; she could even defeat Bai Longming herself. For him to challenge Lin Kuang was simply asking for a beating! Mu Wan didn’t want to see any conflict between them. After all, Bai Longming had been good to her ever since they were children.
"Brother Bai, I think it’s better to just let it go. There’s no need for this," Mu Wan tried to persuade him.
"Wan’er, say no more! How can a man go back on his word? I must fight him!" Bai Longming insisted, his face twisted with displeasure.
Seeing this, Mu Wan gave Lin Kuang a helpless look.
"Don’t worry, I’ll leave him so dignity," Lin Kuang said composedly as he stood up.
"Hmph! We’ll see who’s leaving dignity for whom in a bit!" Bai Longming retorted, thoroughly irritated.
"Alright, since you’re so confident, let’s go," Lin Kuang said with a laugh before striding out of the main hall and into the manor grounds. Bai Longming followed suit, walking out of the hall after him.
Mu Chengzhen watched the scene unfold with a sense of helplessness. He wasn’t a fool; he could clearly see what the contention between Lin Kuang and Bai Longming was all about.
Looking at Mu Wan beside him, Mu Chengzhen asked with exasperation, "Sis, are you sure it’s okay not to stop them?"
