When the young man stepped into the estate, Lin Kuang, who was in cultivation with his eyes closed, suddenly opened them, a sharp glint flickering within.
"So, you have finally arrived, the owner of the Slash Path Sword!"
Muttering to himself, Lin Kuang abruptly stood, opened his door, and walked out.
After descending the stairs, Lin Kuang walked out of the main hall and into the estate grounds, where he saw the black-clothed youth before him. The youth had a sword strapped to his back; that must be the Slash Path.
"You’re here," Lin Kuang said calmly.
"Yes, I’m here. You are weaker than I imagined. You’re no match for ," the black-clothed youth said. His indifferent tone, devoid of any human emotion, sounded cold.
Upon hearing this, Lin Kuang nodded calmly. "Indeed, I am weaker."
Lin Kuang candidly admitted it. Faced with the youth before him, his strength was indeed lacking, unless he could achieve a breakthrough.
"Choose a battlefield," the black-clothed youth spoke again.
Clearly, he did not wish to fight here, as this place was unsuitable for their duel.
"Alright. I fought sowhere recently that seems suitable. Shall we go there?" Lin Kuang asked with a smile.
"Sure," the black-clothed youth responded crisply.
At these words, Lin Kuang nodded and stepped out of the estate. The black-clothed youth followed, his expression as indifferent as ever.
In Mu Wan’s room, she stood quietly by the windowsill watching the scene unfold, her beautiful eyes filled with worry.
"Lin Kuang, you must co back alive. We’re all waiting for you," Mu Wan murmured, praying as she watched the two depart.
At that mont, Lin Kuang and the black-clothed youth were racing down the road. Their figures blurred into ghostly silhouettes, moving so swiftly that ordinary people couldn’t make them out. Even if soone caught a glimpse, they would likely dismiss it as a trick of the eye. Although they were racing, the two were secretly competing to see whose speed was greater.
Lin Kuang had absolute confidence in his speed. His Bagua Willow Catkin Step Technique was incredibly fast. Even though the black-clothed youth was stronger, Lin Kuang was confident that the youth’s speed couldn’t match his own.
However, Lin Kuang was mistaken. The black-clothed youth’s feet moved with astonishing quickness, so fast that he was keeping pace with Lin Kuang.
anwhile, the black-clothed youth was also filled with shock, as speed was one of his greatest strengths. Yet this speed, which he prided himself on, couldn’t surpass Lin Kuang’s. He knew that Lin Kuang was weaker than him, yet he still couldn’t outpace him. The shock the black-clothed youth felt was imnse.
As they raced on, they chased each other, their speeds so evenly matched they were neck and neck. Once they reached the forest Lin Kuang had designated, they dashed inside at almost the exact sa mont, neither willing to fall behind.
The mont they entered the woods, Lin Kuang’s body abruptly halted, completely defying Earth’s gravity in a strange manner. Simultaneously, the black-clothed youth did the sa, halting his own body just as abruptly despite his incredible speed.
"You’re very fast," Lin Kuang remarked calmly to the youth before him.
Hearing this, the black-clothed youth nodded. "You’re no slower than I am."
"Fair enough. What’s your na?" Lin Kuang asked with a smile.
"Gongsun Zhan," the black-clothed youth replied. "And you?"
"Lin Kuang," Lin Kuang said with a smile.
"Let’s fight. Today, only one of us will leave this place alive," Gongsun Zhan said once more as he slowly drew the Slash Path from his back.
SHIING!
Slash Path was exposed to the air. Its icy blade was so bright it was dazzling, and it exuded a murderous aura. It looked truly extraordinary.
"Worthy of its na, Slash Path. A truly fine sword!" Gazing at the Slash Path Sword before him, Lin Kuang exclaid in sincere admiration.
"Co, draw your Naless," Gongsun Zhan said.
Upon hearing this, Lin Kuang nodded and drew Naless from his waist.
In an instant, it was as if lightning streaked through the forest. The dazzling Naless was piercingly cold, its murderous intent spewing forth from the blade. The two swords seed to confront each other, and for a mont, the scene was both terrifying and tranquil.
"What a fine Naless Sword!" Gongsun Zhan’s eyes shone brightly as he stared at Naless, speaking from his heart.
Hearing this, Lin Kuang smiled and nodded. "Yes, Naless is indeed a good sword."
"I’m afraid that after today, it will no longer be yours," Gongsun Zhan spoke again, his tone as cold and emotionless as ever.
"Is that so? We’ll have to fight to find out," Lin Kuang said with a smile.
"Then let us battle!"
In an instant, Gongsun Zhan’s power skyrocketed, his terrifying strength swelling wildly. Seeing this, Lin Kuang’s gaze imdiately beca grave.
Such imnse power. Compared to him, I’m still lacking.
The next mont, Lin Kuang no longer hesitated. The Open Door, Rest Gate, Life Gate, Injury Gate, and The Du Gate within him all flung open, and a terrifying power surged from his body. Instantly, Lin Kuang held nothing back, unleashing his tyrannical power in full force.
The two forces collided continuously in mid-air, causing the leaves on the trees to pulverize. For a brief mont, green powder drifted down from the sky as if a green rain had begun to fall.
"Fight!" Gongsun Zhan cried. With a flick of the Slash Path in his hand, he dashed toward Lin Kuang, the tip of the sword aiming straight for Lin Kuang’s throat.
Seeing this, Lin Kuang didn’t hold back. The Naless in his hand trembled as he thrust it out to et the attack. Instantly, the two n clashed, the tips of their swords striking fiercely against one another!
DING!
A crisp sound erupted as the tips of the two swords t head-on.
The next mont, Gongsun Zhan suddenly exerted his force. The Naless in Lin Kuang’s hand bent sharply, seeming almost uncontrollable. Seeing this, Lin Kuang’s gaze grew even graver. Then, he channeled power into his grip, and the bent Naless instantly snapped straight as a powerful force burst from it.
Gongsun Zhan’s expression remained as cold as ever. His Slash Path flicked upward before slashing down fiercely. Without the slightest hesitation, Lin Kuang brought Naless up to defend, bracing it fiercely above his head.
CLANG!
The two peerless swords collided again, releasing a terrifying explosion of power. In a flash, the force drove Lin Kuang’s feet into the ground, his face reddening from the strain.
In their initial exchange, Lin Kuang was imdiately overpowered. Indeed, even soone as powerful as him was being severely suppressed by Gongsun Zhan.
"I told you, you are no match for ," Gongsun Zhan said, his tone as cold and emotionless as ever.
Hearing this, Lin Kuang’s gaze sharpened. "That remains to be seen!"
As he spoke, Lin Kuang crouched slightly. Power surged through his legs, and he shot forward.
