Hu Ting lit another cigarette and took a leisurely drag, a smirk playing on her lips. In all her years, she'd never seen soone spout such utter nonsense with such a serious expression. They were either out of their minds or complete lunatics. Deserves death? Don't tell he wants to kill , too?
"Initially, an apology and a vow never to set foot in this school again would have settled this. But I'm afraid that won't be enough now," Guo Kai said, fully embracing his duty as a loyal dog. "Kneel and kowtow!"
The sudden shout shattered the tense silence. Intrigued, Hu Ting looked up and stared at Chen Yang.
Chen Yang, however, paid him no mind.

The other bodyguard beside him took a heavy step forward.
"To think you ca from the Martial Departnt. You know she's in the wrong, yet you still help a villain do evil," Yang Hu said, shaking his head with a touch of regret. We were once comrades, after all. To see them acting like dogs for soone... it truly leaves a complicated feeling.
"We've said our piece. You're just not going to listen, are you?" Guo Kai's eyes glinted with nace.
Yang Hu looked up and asked earnestly, "You could be doing anything else. Why choose to be soone's dog?"
Guo Kai was left speechless. Now of all tis... not only is he refusing to kneel, he's insulting ?

Just as Guo Kai lunged forward, Yang Hu moved first, raising a hand and slapping it down through the air.

"And you act so superior about being a dog?"
As Yang Hu spoke, Guo Kai was slamd to the ground. His companion, who only caught the edge of the attack, cried out as his shoulder blade was split open, the stark white bone laid bare.
In the blink of an eye, a bloodcurdling scream erupted through the corridor, so deafening it made everyone's scalp tingle.

Yang Hu uttered the words nonchalantly. He pulled out a white glove and began to slowly wipe the blood from his hand. His movents were deliberate, his face expressionless. His entire aura was as sharp as a bloodstained Sky Halberd, sending a chill down everyone's spine.

Nearby, Hu Ting was montarily stunned. She looked again at the stern, silent Chen Yang. This man... he has a background like that? I truly never expected this.
"We were on active duty once, too! Why did you have to be so ruthless?" Guo Kai demanded, taking a deep breath and speaking as if he held the moral high ground.
The other man nodded in agreent. "Are you even human?"
They were the ones who had been aggressive first, yet now that they'd lost the fight, they were blaming their opponent for being too vicious. The shalessness was unbelievable.
"In my eyes, you're nothing but two dogs," Yang Hu said, shaking his head. "You call inhuman? First, ask yourselves what you are."
Guo Kai fell silent. Damn this guy and his sharp tongue! The worst part was, he couldn't refute a single word.
Despite the fierce commotion outside, Director Zhao Hong was cowering in his office, not daring to move. If he had just gone out and revealed Chen Yang's identity, things would never have escalated this far.
But he didn't have the courage.
Instead, the loud noises caused people in other offices to poke their heads out and watch the scene unfold.
Chen Yang reached out, catching a dry leaf as it drifted down. He pinched it between his fingers, twirling it idly. His gaze was lowered, watching the children running about wildly in the yard below.

Even Hu Ting felt her scalp tingle. She swallowed nervously, her expression shifting rapidly. She had thought this man was rely a bit different, but this... this wasn't just different. He was unparalleled, almost otherworldly. And he was completely, utterly inscrutable.
"Guo Kai, are... are you all right?" his companion asked, moving to help him up. But the mont he drew near, he coughed up a mouthful of blood and collapsed to his knees.
This... He hadn't done anything, yet he forced two bodyguards to their knees, completely immobilized?
Hu Ting was speechless. Guo Kai was speechless. Everyone was speechless. This bizarre scene sent a chill through everyone present.
