SPLASHING.

A sky full of rain and mist fell in a billowing curtain, obscuring all vision. No one paid any mind to the surging Qingyuan River soaking their shoes and pant legs, nor to the rain lashing their faces. No one cared.

On both banks of the river, the mbers of the Imperial Clan and the Chen Family, as well as everyone watching on their screens, stared intently at the spot where Chen Yang had just been.

How... How has he not co out yet?

Even Tu Shen, the man who had unleashed the devastatingly powerful strike, found himself subconsciously fixated on that location.

However, unlike the others, a corner of his mouth twitched into a slight curve, revealing extre disdain.

That last strike... He refused to believe that soone who had just stepped into the Heavenly Saint Realm could possibly withstand it.

He's probably been reduced to less than dust.

If it weren't for Tu Su, would he have dragged this out for so long?

After about a minute, the veil of watery mist completely dissipated.

Where everyone's gaze fell, a figure stood firm and erect like a majestic mountain, as immovable as a monolith.

He held a sword in one hand, braced defensively before him, while blood trickled from the corner of his mouth.

In an instant, the area fell deathly silent, leaving only the howl of the wind and rain.

He's still here, but...

THUD.

Chen Yang took a step forward and lifted his head, his gaze like a torch as it locked onto Tu Shen.

PHEW.

Only then did many of the petrified onlookers snap back to their senses, an unconscious smile spreading across their faces.

He's still alive. He's still alive!

"That damn kid, he's improved again?" Chen Shangwu couldn't help but laugh, but his smile quickly vanished as he shook his head regretfully, his face bitter.

He had only survived a single move from Tu Shen. His strength was undeniable to have withstood such a strike.

But...

How many more can he take?

It wasn't that Chen Shangwu was pessimistic; it was simply the stark reality before them. A newcor who had just stepped into the Heavenly Saint Realm versus a veteran at the peak of the Heavenly Saint Realm—the imnse gap between them left no room for optimism.

"Eh?"

Tu Shen looked slightly astonished. His eyebrows twitched as his deep, abyss-like eyes scrutinized Chen Yang without a word.

This is indeed surprising. He didn't die?

His gaze then fell upon the Traveling Dragon Sword in Chen Yang's hand, and he realized it was a Treasure Weapon.

"It was this Treasure Weapon that saved your life," Tu Shen stated nonchalantly, holding his blade in one hand with the other behind his back.

Chen Yang remained silent. His right arm was still bleeding, and he looked utterly battered, with several wounds so deep they revealed bone.

It was hard to imagine. A single strike had wounded Chen Yang so grievously.

"You won't be able to kill today," Chen Yang said slowly, stepping toward the riverbank.

If that first attack couldn't kill him, then Tu Shen never would. This was not an empty boast.

"Heh heh!" Tu Shen shook his head and laughed loudly. "Boy, are you really that naive? You barely survived one of my attacks! If I were you, I'd kneel and beg for a quick death right now."

Chen Yang simply smiled without a word.

"Don't be so arrogant. This kid is no simpleton."

Just then, a minivan drove through the wind and rain. Ignoring the scrutinizing gazes from the Imperial Clan mbers, it ca to a smooth stop less than ten ters from the center of the battlefield.

The old woman, Gu Xiulan, stepped out first. Wrapped in a black robe and holding a black umbrella, she said flatly, "He was able to injure Gu Li of my Biluo Sword Valley. His strength is not to be underestimated."

"Hmm?"

Everyone's attention shifted toward her.

Biluo Sword Valley?

HISS!

Suddenly, everyone drew a sharp breath, especially the crowds on the riverbanks and the mbers of the Chen Family.

An Imperial Clan was already powerful enough. Now, Biluo Sword Valley had appeared as well. This...

It's over. We're completely dood. Even the slightest chance has been extinguished.

Inside the minivan, Gu Zhiqing sized up Chen Yang from head to toe with her lively eyes, her expression neutral.

There's nothing particularly special about this man, is there? Tianxing was just too playful and neglected his cultivation. Otherwise, how could a nobody from the secular world have cut off his arm?

Gu Zhiqing quickly looked away, picked up an ancient to, and instructed, "Tell Tu Shen to hurry up. I don't want to stay out in this storm for too long."

"Yes, Miss."

Gu Xiulan nodded and turned to Tu Shen. "My lady instructs you not to waste any more ti. Make it quick."

"So it is Miss Zhiqing." Tu Shen, having been inford beforehand, was not surprised. He turned and said with a respectful fist-and-palm salute, "Rest assured, I will dispose of this trash imdiately so that Miss Zhiqing does not have to linger outside for long."

Chen Yang gave a bitter smile. So, Biluo Sword Valley had finally decided to intervene.

At the sa ti, Chen Shangwu and the heavily injured Chen Hua moved without hesitation to stand with Chen Yang. At this point, bla was useless. All that remained was to fight to the death, regardless of the outco.

WHOOSH.

Without another word, Tu Shen raised his war blade and brought it down with all his might.

In an instant, the ground shook. The river churned violently as huge waves rose seven or eight ters high, like columns of water erupting from the surface.

BOOM!

In the blink of an eye, Chen Yang was enveloped in a golden glow. A Dharma Golden Body, dozens of feet tall, rose up behind him, its expression solemn and its presence imposing. Its enormous palm swooped down, grasped the Traveling Dragon Sword, and slashed directly at Tu Shen.

In a flash of lightning and flint, sword and blade collided in mid-air, causing the Eight Hundred Li of the Qingyuan River to erupt. Towering waves rolled one after another, each higher than the last.

The Sword Qi was like frost. Even the great white waves were split asunder, their sundered halves descending slowly from the sky.

BANG!

The Dharma Golden Body flickered erratically, and the Traveling Dragon Sword was flung from its grasp. It soared across the Qingyuan River and embedded itself deep into the green bricks of the square on the opposite bank.

Like a kite with its string cut, Chen Yang was blasted backward, his feet carving deep trenches in the ground. Blood sprayed from his mouth as he flew.

After more than ten ters, Chen Yang managed to steady himself with difficulty. He wiped the blood from the corner of his mouth with the back of his hand and, seeing Tu Shen approaching, actually revealed a faint smile.

The vast battlefield once again fell into a profound, deathly silence.

Chen Yang's current state was absolutely wretched.

Inside the minivan, Gu Zhiqing, who had been reading, raised her head slightly, her gaze fixed on Chen Yang in mild shock.

He actually blocked it?

"A little interesting." A faint curve ford on Gu Zhiqing's delicate features. She closed her book and stared out the window.

"Heh heh!" A cold smirk appeared on Tu Shen's face. "I must admit, you truly are full of surprises. But how many more of my blows can you take?"

With that, the Great Elder of the Imperial Clan once again raised his blade.

"I told you, you can't kill today." Chen Yang straightened his back, the Dharma Golden Body behind him gradually stabilizing. He laughed coldly. "If you can't kill , then you're the one who's going to die!"

"Arrogance!" Tu Shen sneered, now thoroughly enraged. As the Great Elder of the Imperial Clan, failing to finish Chen Yang in two strikes had not only inadvertently elevated his opponent's status but had also damaged his own reputation.

However, just as he was about to strike, Chen Yang thrust out his right hand, and the Dharma Golden Body behind him mirrored the motion.

"Sword, co!"

SWISH!

Across the Qingyuan River, the Ancestral Sword, which Yang Hu had been holding, suddenly flared with a brilliant light and shot straight toward Chen Yang.

Have you ever seen a sword descend from the heavens?

I have.

That one strike cracked the earth and made the rivers recoil.
