[VRMMO] Chaos Doctor Chapter 23 – Desperation

With the newly discovered fact that I may be completely FUCKED like I an, all because the people are trying to keep their distance will make the plague stop spreading at rapid rate.

The plague 3 main weaknesses was the:

-Short ti duration.

-The weak coughing effect that can only infect at very close distance and cannot infect object.

-The corpse infection that have limited amount of active ti.

With how the things area, even if nobody notices those two giant weaknesses, they will straight up see that the infection is stopping at rapid rate.

Even if they don't do anything, as the things are the plague will disappear on its own and if sobody does notices that, the plague will be gone before you know it.

I don't have any ans of making the plague spread any more, so that ans I have to do sothing before they recover.

I may not made in ti and the plague will be gone.

It will take so ti for the city to recover though, but before they can recover, I have to destroy the city while it's still weakened state.

That revelation that I missed sothing so obvious and though that I've won just straight up ruined everything and ended up confusing and scaring .

I needed so ti to calm down and review the situation again.

I did said that I have around 1-2 days to destroy the city, but not exactly.

One thing is removing the plague entirely but the other is recovering.

The plague doesn't leave any lasting effects, but the NPCs business took the hit and they would need ti to recover and everything.

True. They can remove the plague at any point now within just hours or maybe even less like half an hour, that how weak the plague really is.

The only reason why it worked was the panic I caused.

But now the panic is disappearing and despair is appearing.

But I don't want despair but only panic so they cannot think straight.

However, with the current situation, I'm fucked.

So, I have probably this day and maybe the next day…. Maybe, I don't know really with those odds.

Anyway, I have to sohow get strong enough so I can destroy the city.

And so, I decided to screw the level 30 area around the city and venture further away from the city.

Honestly, I don't know where the level 40 hunting ground is, since I couldn't get to the city in order not to expose myself to the danger.

The guard capitan may think that I was maybe working with those masked individuals, since I was the one who reported about the rats and suggested that the guards should just leave the city and guards the sewers entrances.

So, they may look for or sothing.

The area I headed to was the deeper parts of the forest.

I did ran into so players on my way, but I made sure I wasn't wearing my "Doctor" equipnt I used.

The monsters I encounter there were mostly beast type monsters, but nothing very serious or annoying like the big evil rabbit or the sewer rats, so honestly killing them was extrely easy.

I may use their materials for research, but not now. I need sothing better.

I went and walked into the deeper areas of the forest, trying to find the proper spot for leveling up with my current abilities, I even asked around the players for so directions and apparently the hunting area for the level 40 is supposed to be in the deepest part of the forest.

Its both good and bad news.

Good, because I know where to go.

And bad because that is the limit. There is no higher level hunting grounds.

Shit.

I can probably hunt the level 40 monsters, but would hunting them after I reach level 40 be still effective?

Fuck. I don't have a choice but to do it anyway if I want to level up.

I went straight to those hunting grounds ntioned by the players.

The monsters there were tree monsters called [Woodman].

They weren't that strong and only main thing about them was their defense.

However, their materials…. Wow…. They weren't much good.

(Fuck . I though the materials would be sowhat good for creating armor, but I don't I can use them. They are more like for the alchemy.)

(This is worse than I imagined.)

(Will I really have no choice but to relay on my current equipnt?)

Not option to make better equipnt and the limited enemy level.

(The plague will soon disappear from the city and spreading it again will be out of question.)

Phantasia looked towards the man, revealing his plague doctor mask to the man.

Before the man could even speak, Phantasia rushed at him and slashed his throat with his claws.

The other players that were in the area were shocked and confused as the wanted criminal "Doctor" suddenly appeared right in front of them.

However, before they could even do sothing, the "Doctor" attacked them and began killing them.

(FUCK IT!)

Second player was killed.

Third player was killed.

(FUCK THIS BULLSHIT!)

The last player of the group was killed.

(I FUKING REFUSE TO BACK DOWN NOW!)

(My goal is to fuking destroy this city and ruin people lives and made them aware of the villain "Doctor".)

I began hunting and killing, both the players and the monsters while wearing my plague doctor equipnt.

It will make reveal my location to the others with killing the players while wearing my plague doctor equipnt, BUT FUCK IT!

I can hunt much faster using it and I don't care if anybody will find since I will fuking kill them.

I hunted and killed, over and over again.

My level was keep increasing at rapid rate to the point I managed to level up to the level 40 within one day.

But I didn't stopped.

I continue hunting and killing players, getting as much EXP as possible.

I don't know if it is because I'm still low level, but I still managed to level up.

And before long, the day ended and ca the next.

And as I feared, people found out about the plague weaknesses.

The plague inside the city is disappearing and before long it will be completely long.

The plague that made people cry and be furious would just disappear just like that without any real efforts.

Fuck … I predicted that and all…. But holy fuking shit…. Now that they knew that the plague is very easily to be dealt with, they won't fear it any longer, both NPCs and players.

However, it will take them ti recover, but I don't know how much. Even without the plague, I did so solid damage to the city and even left so deep wounds that will take ti to heal.

Beside that, there was another problem.

The reckless hunting I did yesterday was worth it and I did leveled up shit tons of ti, even after reaching level 40, but still, the news spread about the "Doctor" hunting.

Going to the hunting ground there is straight up suicide now.

I can maybe try going to the level 30 hunting grounds, but that is that.

Before they recover completely…. No.

Before they recover to specific extend, I need to destroy them. They don't need to fully recover.

I leveled up a lot, but what now?

Should I go into the city and go on rampage?

Without a solid plan, its 100% failure.

Hunt more?

Maybe I should try researching so stuff with the new materials I got?

The most dangerous materials I could get and use were the sewer rat materials and that it.

I got so new materials, but they are really not that impressive.

The woodman materials that I tested were really for alchemy and so can be used to create a mage staff and that it.

I'm trying over and over co up with the different plans, but each plan would end up with the failure.
