[VRMMO] Chaos Doctor Chapter 26 – Peace and thinking

After I finally managed to get inside the town, I needed to look for sothing like a storage or sothing.

I found one, it was inn that offered a room that I could use to store my stuff but the problem was that it was bit pricy…. I sold any useful materials I has as well as potion so just I could buy it and store of my stuff in there.

(Fuck .)

(I have no money left…. AGAIN.)

(Not only that, to keep those things, I need to keep giving money to the inn owner in order to keep my stuff in there…. Great….)

(Not only that, I had to sell my potions and the materials I had kept in reserve. However, I still need more money to keep the rooms.)

(But at least I'm now free from carrying this stuff.)

(However considering the current circumstances, I need to focus on making money, again.)

(But there are no players here…. So, I have to business with the NPCs as well as do quests.)

(Right now, the main priority is getting stronger as well as getting money.)

The current situation is like this.

The starting city of Min is in ss, however the plague has been defeated and the city will recover after so ti passes.

However, because of the current state of the city, many of the NPCs had to temporarily close their shops or leave the city.

The city will recover, but as of right now, people will have hard ti leveling up.

Right now, I'm the only player in this town, but I don't know how long it will take for the other players to catch up to . I did saw so player already hunting in the level 40 areas.

Honestly, its both bad and good.

The bad, because I will be forced to share hunting grounds with them.

The good, because I may end up getting clients.

The "Wood Mask", the title the people gave online ended up getting people attention since I was quite popular with my potions.

So, I would get a lot of money.

Two mask.

The "Wood Mask".

And the "Doctor".

Honestly its like one of those villains who wear two faces of an MC friend and the second of the antagonist.

And I kind of did that completely unintentionally. But I'm not really complaining.

For the wood mask, I can take off my mask, so there is no problem.

But as for the doctor, I will keep it hidden.

Right now, I have 3 things I need to do.

-Get money.

-Get stronger.

-Be a good person.

Right now, I cannot be suspicious or get found out as doctor while still being weakling,

And there is also the fact that I'm a wanted criminal…. So, yea…. For now, I will be a good boy.

The first and the second things are also important.

I don't have any money right now and I will need it if I want to keep the room as well as for other stuff.

And I also need to get stronger ASAP.

I need to max out the researcher soon so I can start the second research.

I got to admit it, I fucked up by choosing my first research for the plagues and should have instead chose sothing that boosted my own strength.

And my next research will be about it.

Anyway, after unpacking my things and taking a look around the town, I took so quest and headed straight to the forest.

The quest were like: "Bring 10 savage wolf heads." Or "Bring bear monster belt".

The quest weren't much problem for , expected for the bear one. It was kind of like a mini boss bastard.

But there is one thing that I need to ntion.

The difficulty change.

The difficulty had completely changed outside the starting zone.

The monsters are much stronger.

Even though I beat them with ease, I could tell the difference in strength, even the monsters who were the sa level as woodman were much stronger.

I guess monsters are like players, they may have sa level like other monsters, but are much stronger.

However, with my current amount of titles, I was too strong for them…. Well, I did struggle a bit since I'm not fully combat class user, but still, there was no problem when it ca to hunting.

But it did required ti getting used to.

Before long, I logged out.

I checked the situation online and yep, the Min city is already recovering. It will take ti, but still, they are recovering.

As for the players, they are still angry for what I did. Well, no wonder.

By the way…. When I checked stuff online… There was article about …... WOW.

I kind of beca now a real celebrity and hated one at that.

I though the heat would die down a little bit, but nope. People still 100% hate with their heart.

I really and I an REALLY need to stay hidden low as an "Doctor".

The next day and once again, I began hunting monsters left and right as well as accepting any quests I can.

Pretty much, it was quiet…. Peaceful?

There was nothing like a random events or anything….

Well, there was one thing that happed.

Players ca to the town.

And the players that ca here…. Yea…. I rember killing them as "Doctor".

I honestly though it would take longer for the players to get here? I even slowed them down by killing them.

The caravan services are still not available, aning that they had to walk like , so I don't…... Wait a second.

The monsters in the starting zone are quite easy, expect for that giant rat, he was unbalanced AS FUCK!

Anyway, I think they though that the monsters outside the starting zone would be no challenge?

Oh boy, reality will hit them hard.

But still, it doesn't…. Wait it does make sense.

I an, I did locked myself in my hideout and experinted for days.

Making the potions and other items does gives EXP, but I often made low ranking ones intentionally…... Huh. I thought I got ahead of other players in terms of leveling up.

Well, right now its different, I'm the one in the lead.

But I fuking miscalculated with the obvious thing and now I have realized the players will get here sooner than expected.

Well, not that many, since I fucked the city…... Wait, won't the caravan services soon be active again since the plague is gone? Shit!

No.

Calm down.

I still have huge advantage thanks to my stats and not only that, I completed several quests, even the one ti only ones.

My current level is 54. Its pretty good considering that I raised it so much in one day.

But I'm thinking of rushing it and start to hunt the higher level monsters again.

I though about doing it before, but the monsters outside the starting zone are way more annoying in terms of combat to the point I needed to get used to the sudden spike in power.

But now I should be able to handle higher level monsters.

I began taking all the quest I can, even the ones that were higher level than and began completing them nonstop.

By the way, I've been using my class points like this:

[Alchemist: 60/100] –[Cost:1] [Poison Mage: 80/100]-[Cost:2] [Chaos Researcher: First Research – [Plague]: 15/25] – [Cost: 3]

I focused on raising my classes related to the plague, but I got a new problem.

I need to raise my alchemy skill level in order to raise the alchemist class. Its locked right now in short.

Fuck…. I did raised my alchemy level a lot when I locked myself in the hideout, but each level increase require more EXP. On top of that, I didn't did any alchemy after IT leveled up in normal way.

In short, it will take quiet so ti to reach the alchemy class to level 100 and if its not on 100, alongside the poison mage, then I cannot max out the research…. Fuck.

So, what the hell do I do?

I can try doing the alchemy and I did saved so money, but the problem is the lack of players.

Making stuff is good, but I need an inco to keep up the business.

I have my reputation as "Wood Mask" AND I can prove that I'm not pretender with my goods.

I talked with owner of the public workshop and they said that they can allow to use my tools, but obviously this is…. A bad thing.

I an, I'm not the only production class user in this ga, so if sobody saw using those tools, they will find out why my stuff is so good and may try to get their own special tools or say stuff online, revealing it to the public, and I don't want either of those things.

I asked the inn owner and she refused for to use the room as an alchemist workshop… So pretty much I was fucked.

However, she said that I maybe should rent a house, she said it would work…. But the rented house will cost and if I want to set my workshop, I will have to probably have to pay more.

She said that I can also buy it…. But its not worth considering the fact that I'm planning to leave this place in the future.

With that in mind, I will rent the house…. But that will obviously cost WAY and I an WAY more than renting the room in the in…

There is also the fact about the materials as well as other necessary stuff for the alchemy….

HOWEVER!

This isn't the worst problem.

The main problem is the lack of players.

If I want to improve my alchemy, I need to make stuff.

But then I also need money, so I will need an costurs A.K.A players and without them, there is no business and instead I will waste my money.

And no. I need money if I want to do alchemy and stuff.

….

Fuck ….

Welp.

I will just hunt monsters and wait for the players to co…. Wait.

Shit.

If I make business with them, won't that make hunt monsters much easier and in turn, level up faster and complete quest faster.

…

Fuck this.

I will do it anyway.

I know I will end up helping players level up faster, BUT I need to raise the [Alchemy] level at all cost if I want to start the second research.

It will be 100% worth it.

So, I guess I will just hunt and complete the quest like before and as soon as the more players arrive to this place, I will beca a potion rchant once again.
