Why couldn't Arthur gain a upper edge?

He knew about Phantasia's weaknesses… And yet, he was completely helpless.

He couldn't turn the situation around, even when he started using his stronger skills left and right.

The reason?

Too much.

True, Phantasia maybe oriented in too many things, but at the sa ti it is giving the man too many weapons.

Not only that, but it is also a variety of different "weapons" that he needs to deal in different matter.

Dodge, block, counter, parry, he needs to know which one to use.

However, because of the sheer volu of the attacks, he straight up can't deal with it all, which in turn allows Phantasia to sneak in so more powerful strikes here and there, which Arthur couldn't handle.

(I FUCKING FIGURED IT OUT BY NOW!) – thought Arthur as he was unleashing a hail of flaming arrows at the massive creature… Only for it to use its palm and block all the attacks, before then smashing the sa palm into the ground, aiming to squash Arthur… Only to realize too late that the real attack was [Cursed Necromancy: Crying Land], unleashing a hail of bone chains and cursed souls from where the ground was struck, landing a series of attacks on the swordman who tried to back away, only avoiding a direct hits… But not coming unscratched out of it.

(He is using too many attacks all at once!) – thought Arthur as he fired off a wave of fire and sun fire at the monster, trying to burn him… Only for Phantasia to break through the flas and unleash a barrage of grey poisoned needles, which upon contact corrupted the entire land.

Arthur countered the poison attack with his golden sun flas, but he wasn't given a mont to rest as one of the dragon heads were after him, forcing the man to raise up his defense in order to block the blunt attack from the dragon head.

(I still can't fucking find the weak spot either! This is stupid!) – thought Arthur as the second head was after him, which he this ti dodged… And then quickly deployed the barrier of the golden fire, blocking the massive claws that ca his way, which in turn allowed the man to quickly back way.

(Was I wrong with my inimical assumption? Did by any chance he really had dealt with his weaknesses with this new body?) – thought alard Arthur as a hail of poison and bones ca his way, forcing the man to use the [Sun Blade: Undying Sun Strike], which ended up unleashing a extrely wide slash of fire which scorched all the attacks.

(….This isn't going anywhere…. I'm damaging him… But not enough.)

(I have a chance… But if I don't play this right, then so random nobody will co and finish off after the battle.)

(If I don't do this smart, then I will get eliminated like a idiot.)

([Redeed Sun: Age Of The New Sun].) – thought Arthur as he tried counter attacking with fire magic in order to buy himself ti.

(This skill could get him.)

(I need to use that skill to hit his vital spot and take him down on the spot, or make him weak enough to make things be in my favor until the end.)

(But knowing him…. Nah. I need to aim for the spot which would deal most damage.)

(I need to blast his entire head way…. But is it really it?)

(So even if he has a hidden real body, it will get him!) – thought Arthur as he started rushing towards Phantasia, dodging the cursed spirits and bones, while knocking them away with his sword.

Arthur started spawning his sword art skills, getting rid of the projectiles that ca his way, while also rapidly closing the distance between himself and Phantasia.

(Even if I win this fight, if I'm beyond fucking exhausted a fight, then I'm fucking good as dead!)

(I need to finish off this bastard while having sothing left!)

"?"

(He is no longer using magic?) – thought Phantasia as he instantly realized that Arthur was taking way riskier approach.

(Ah, I get it.)

(He is saving for "it", isn't he?) – thought Phantasia as he thrusted forward his claws, aiming to completely shred to pieces Arthur… But the man easily dodged the attack and instantly started running on the top of the massive arm.

"!" – however, the arm platform was a bait from the start, as the two massive dragon heads went after the man.

(Shit!) – thought Arthur as he saw his SP {Stamina points} weren't at their current best state.

But even so, the man clenched his teeth and used [Glory Blade: King's Path], unleashing a series of slashes with a single swing of his sword, which were able to keep in check both dragon heads.

"!"

(THAT IS NEW!? AND WHAT WAS THAT!? WAS HE STILL HIDDING SO CLASS?!) – thought Phantasia as he swung upwards the arm that Arthur was climbing, aiming to sent the man flying into the sky…. However, the hero wasn't letting go.

He stabbed the monstrosity with his sword and wouldn't let himself get shaken off, which pissed off Phantasia as lifted all the way up his arm, while at the sa ti using his second arm to try and catch the man.

However, in that instant, Arthur kicked himself off the arm and started falling downwards towards Phantasia.

(ONE LAST SPELL!) – thought Arthur as he saw the massive claws about to rip him apart.

[Light Magic: Light Way]

Artur turned into the pure light, avoiding the massive claws, while at the sa ti teleporting below them, dodging them.

(I FUCKING GOING TO NUKE YOUR ASS! PHANTASIA!) – thought Arthur as he was about to go past Phantasia's head.

However, just as Arthur was about to use his skill… He got struck directly by the red lighting railgun from the side, sending the man flying into the air.

(CAUGHT YOU!)

[You skill has been canceled.]

(What?) – thought Arthur as he was completely caught off guard as he then was straight up smashed right into the ground alongside the beam of red light.

"FUCKING PREDICTABLE!" – shouted Phantasia as he was already next to the laying down Arthur, smashing his fist into the ground and digging into it, before then lifting it up as it upper cut Arthur from below, sending Arthur upwards while the man wasn't given any ti recover.

And right after that, Phantasia instantly smashed his two hands from the side, clapping them and smashing Arthur right between them, crushing his body, before then letting the hero fall down and smash into the ground once again.

"Hey."

"Protagonist wanabe."

"Are you dead yet?"

"Maybe you are dead now?"

"Common, get up." – said Phantasia as Arthur started slowly getting up.

"Y-"

"[Cursed Necromancy: Reaper Sentence]."

Before Arthur was even allowed a mont to speak, he was suddenly pierced by countless raper scythes that appeared out of nowhere, stabbing him everywhere across his entire body.

"Who said you can speak?" – asked Phantasia as he extended his two dragon heads and was ready to unleash their blast breaths.

"!"

"[Light-"

"[Grey Death: Victim Trap]." – before Arthur realized, his legs and arms were bound in a greyish glue like liquid, which ended up binding the man right to the ground…. And right in the next mont, the dragon heads unleashed their blasts attacks.

The breath blasts swallowed up the entire area, completely destroying everything in sight.

"…"

Phantasia stared at the ground, swinging around his claws to remove the smoke which covered the entire area after the explosion of destruction…. And then he saw it.

The remains.

[The player has been eliminated.]

(That is it?) – thought annoyed Phantasia.

(THAT IS REALLY FUCKING IT!?)

"THE FUCK WAS THAT ARTHUR!" – shouted pissed off Phantasia as his roar echoed through the swamps.

"WEREN'T YOU FUCKING STRONGER!?"

"YOU FUCKING EXCUSE OF A HERO!?"

"Stupid." – said Phantasia in his regular voice.

(I thought this would be interesting!)

(I THOUGHT I WOULD HAVE A FUCKING "DEMON LORD AND HERO FIGHT"!)

(Diamond is dead too.) – thought Phantasia as he saw his monsters heading towards him.

(I guess the dragon breath was enough to fuck him over enough for these guys to easily finish him off.)

(This monster form maybe overpowered, but using it takes an extrely big toll on .) – thought Phantasia as he started shrinking in size, slowly transforming back into his humanoid form

(….I thought Arthur would be the "hero" of the story…. Maybe he isn't ready yet, or maybe he isn't the one.)

(Either way, things are bound to be bit chaotic.) – thought Phantasia as he fully reverted to his humanoid form.

(Not only that… I saw that bastard.)

(Why was he after Diamond?)
