[VRMMO] Chaos Doctor Chapter 58 – Dusk city

It took days just I expected and like that goblin told , but after finally long ti I managed to arrive Dusk.

"…."

"…. I got to say… This place isn't what I was expecting." – said Phantasia while driving his carriage.

"This city… Wow."

(I was honestly expecting this place to be sothing like a combination of a forest and city, since dark elves apparently are the ones in charge of this place.)

(You know, the elves and the forests and all.)

(But this place is way different.)

"Excuse . Mister guard." – said Phantasia after stopping his carriage.

"Hm? Yes?" – replied the dark elf guard.

"Do you know any place or maybe a company that focuses on dealing and selling buildings?"

"Hm…. Go in this direction and try asking around there, people should point you to the right building." – said the guard while pointing at the mountain.

"Thanks." – said Phantasia before ridding off.

(Anyway, where was I?)

(Ah, right. This place unique appearance.)

(From what the rchant told on the road, the good part of the city is inside the mountain.)

(And I can see he wasn't lying. I can see a huge part of the mountain carved out or sothing and I can see a lot of buildings inside that place.)

(This entire city is builted right next to the mountain with part of being attached to it or straight up inside it.)

(The outside part of the city, is surrounded by nothing but grass field, but behind it and the mountain? There are other mountains and forest on top of them all.)

(I also heard that this place has 2 main source of inco from the traveling rchants.)

(The first are extrely rich vines of tals as well as gems.)

(And the second are the monsters who are extrely dangerous.)

(Honestly, this places gives more of a dwarf vibe than elf vibe.)

(Still, I got to say that the city looks quite beautiful and unique in its own way.)

(Not only that, but from the distance I could tell it was very big city…. But now that I'm inside? I don't know…. This place maybe way bigger than I though.)

(Before in the Draman I had thought about destroying that city to make people aware of the "Doctor".)

(But after looking at that place defenses I realized that it was impossible.)

(I even gotten my shit beaten out off by Min city when I attacked and it didn't had the defenses Draman had.)

(And this place? Yea…. I don't think I can deal with it. It may even turn out to be even heavier defended than Draman.)

(Damn.)

(I was planning on destroying this place later on after I was done with it in order to damage the kingdom and hinder players, but I guess I have to give up on that plan.)

(Unless I maybe find a ans of destroying this place.)

(Anyway, the ti needed to get to this place was even way longer than I though.)

(I have proper ans of transport and everything, but still…. Way more ti than I thought had passed.)

(Honestly, maybe I could think of making a chira that can drag my caravan way faster than horse…. But that would obviously expose . I did run into so rchants along the way.)

(Maybe I should try to look for so monsters I could ta and use them instead of horse.)

(I saw two different rchant that didn't used horse.)

(The orc one used a weird rhino like monster dragging his carriage while the dark elf had sothing like a dinosaur dragging their carriage.)

(So having a non-horse creature dragging your carriage around isn't abnormal.)

(Still… Where I would find a monster like this.)

(I had tad few new monsters, but I can't use them to drag my carriage around.)

(Well, for now lets just focus on finding a building I can buy so I can set up my base.)

[After so ti passed, Phantasia managed to find the building that specializes estate business.]

"So, you wish for a building that can be used as a storage as well as a workshop, yes?" – said the dark elf worker.

"Yea. I'm alchemist and blacksmith so I will definitely make a lot of noise, so I would like a location that wouldn't bother people."

"Hm…. Then there are several locations."

"Here is a large two store building that was once used as rchant base of operation, but could be turned into a workshop… There are also so smaller buildings and dium sized ones."

(Hm… There are few that are interesting…. But the cost seems pretty high.)

(There is not really much cheap options here… There are so, but there is probably reason why they are so cheap.)

(Maybe they are small or their locations sucks.)

(I maybe be rich, but I can't just buy first random building. What if I buy too small or too big building?)

(I guess I need to check each building myself and then see what fits.)

Honestly, there was a lot of possible buildings I could buy and it did took quiet a bit to visit each one that interested , but in the end, I managed to buy a good location.

It wasn't anything like a grand building or anything like that, it wasn't too big or too small and it was located on the edge of the city…. BUT! It was secluded. I could do shady experints in there without much problems.

It costed a bit, but the location is too good to pass.

Anyway, after buying that building I began unpacking my stuff while also buying materials needed to make a furnace that I will use for blacksmithing.

It took several hours setting everything up, but it was worth it.

Anyway, I still had a lot of money left, so I didn't need to go hunting yet.

Instead, I just bough myself several different ingots. Normal iron ingots, but also black and white ingots.

Those ingots aren't normal tals, they are much better and higher rank tals.

The black iron is extrely durable and powerful while the white iron is excellent for mana based equipnt's like the mages armors and staffs.

There are also stuff like mana stones and mana crystals.

Mana gems are special stones you can dig out or obtain by different specific ans, for example find them in extrely dangerous terrain.

And the mana crystals are the stuff that sotis grow inside the monsters or can drop when they die.

Both have many different uses and different application depending on quality and type.

Anyway, the reason why I'm buying them?

Well, obviously I want to test out the modifications I can make with my own body.

The modification procedure was…. Quiet problematic and complicated. It took many trials and errors… And I an like a lot.

I made my arm pop out like a toy once for so reason even though I didn't even add anything related to my army getting send flying.

Yea…. I pretty much spend the entire day trying to figure out what worked and how.

For now, I only focused on my left hand, but I got say, it was god damd fun.

I was thinking of starting ssing with my other arm, but I kind of need to start hunting now in order not to have any money problems later on. I can also use that opportunity to test out my left arm.

Anyway, to get to the hunting ground you have leave the city and head to the mountains that are right next to the city or you can take a special path uses that goes thought the mountain that is the city build into, it's quite nice and its quiet heavily defended.

In order to get to the hunting grounds, I need to move quiet distance, but along the way I run into so miners that were transporting a lot of black iron and other valuable stuff.

Like ntioned before, this place has two sources of inco. The mines and the monsters.

The adventurer guild here is straight up full with the request when I ca to check it out.

This place is extrely far away from the previous city I was in, but people will definitely try to co here once the news spread about riches of this place.

Still, like said before the mines here are also the main source of the inco. However, because how many monsters are roaming around there is constant recruitnt of rceries and guards to defend the mines and other stuff.

I like this place!

Not only rich in tals and other stuff you can dig out from this place, but also a lot of monsters?

This place is completely perfect for my experints! Both for chira and the cyborg modifications.

If the monsters here are also quite special or strong, then the chiras I would make from now on would also be quite good.

There is also no rush anymore since I need to stay hidden temporarily, aning I can focus on quality without any problems.

Still, if the monsters are also like the miners and tals you can get here that good, then I have now a proper reason to destroy this place.

Both the kingdom can get much stronger thanks to this place AND the players will definitely use this place for their own gain as well.

I slowed down players growth with my actions, but considering how I will spend a lot of ti on crafting, they will sooner or later catch up to in terms of levels.

I may have beca much stronger than before thanks to all evil I committed. But unfortunately, it's not enough.

I really can't see any possibilities of destroying this place with my current power.

Right now, I need to focus on my own strength instead of chiras. Not only that the plagues that I made so far weren't any real threat.

If I want to even think of even destroying this place, I need all 3 of those things to be solid and deadly.

Right now, it's impossible to destroy this place or even in near future, but oh well. I have ti.

I will just focus on growing my strength and the three experints I had made are about improvent and poetical.

I don't know if I will be able to obtain enough power to destroy this place.

But oh boy.

If I do get my hands on that kind of power.

I will straight up turn this place to ashes.

But for now, I'm just innocent player Phantasia the "Wood Mask".

I'm just a player that hunt monsters and make items for enjoynt and maybe business later on.

Everything is fine…. For now, that is.
