After arriving at the Hound Guild, the guard personally briefed them on Green Dungeon No. 2322. Since the guild knew that the students ca from Twilight Academy, the Guild Master readily accepted the guard’s request and assigned a party to accompany Vyral’s group into the dungeon.

’’Let’s take a break before heading inside the dungeon,’’ one of the guild mbers said with a chuckle as he wrapped an arm around a fat young man’s shoulders.

He poked the young man’s cheek and added,

’’This guy is incredibly talented at cooking. I guarantee his food will satisfy all of you.’’

The fat young man, Orson, scratched the back of his head in embarrassnt. He had a build similar to Doran’s in the real world, yet his face gave off a completely different impression—gentle, warm, and kind.

He replied shyly,

’’B-Big Bro, you’re flattering .’’

The other guild mbers burst into laughter. All of them knew how humble and lacking in confidence Orson was.

A few minutes later, Orson gathered the courage to prepare a al for everyone.

Arthea blinked a few tis and rubbed her stomach. She clenched her jaw before letting out a helpless sigh.

Doran grimaced, then shrugged.

After finishing their al, the group entered the Green Dungeon.

Soon, darkness swallowed them whole.

One of the guild mbers cast a Light spell, illuminating the dungeon’s interior.

Then, in the very next mont—

A deafening scream of agony echoed through the darkness.

Vyral turned around, only to see a guild mber with a sword driven through his chest.

Before he could catch sight of the attacker, the floor beneath them began to crumble apart. Vyral threw himself to the side, but the collapsing ground still dragged him down.

’’Shit!’’

His scream echoed through the air as he plumted downward.

After several monts of free fall, his body slamd into the floor below, sending cracks spreading across the ground on impact.

Luckily for him, thanks to [Harden] and [Adamantium Skeleton], the impact had done little to him. The guild mbers, however, weren’t so fortunate.

Their bodies were broken and blood stained the ground everywhere. So of the unluckier ones had slamd into rocks during the fall, their skulls crushed on impact.

Vyral struggled to his feet. He glanced around but saw neither Arthea nor Doran. At least that allowed him to let out a sigh of relief. It seed they hadn’t shared his misfortune.

A painful groan rang out nearby.

Vyral turned toward the voice and frowned at the sight of a guild mber. His body looked like nothing more than a crumpled straw doll. He was already standing at death’s door.

He took a few steps forward, only for his expression to darken when shadowy figures began erging from the corridor.

Vyral summoned a katana and slowly drew it from its sheath, the blade flashing with a cold light.
