Geneva – 48 Hours After the Summit

The world didn’t sleep.

Not after the summit.

Every major city’s skyline glowed with screens—news tickers, anchors, public statents. Headlines rolled in like waves.

"Supernatural World Confird: Vampires, Werewolves, Witches, Kitsunes."

"Peace Talks Conclude in Geneva: First Cross-Race Council Announced."

"Who Is Lucifer Origin? Summit’s Mystery Man Sparks Global Curiosity."

And then, more personal stories:

"A Vampire Saved My Sister During the Rift War."

"Werewolf Pack Rebuilt a Burned Hospital in Oslo."

"I Lost My Father to a Shadowbeast. Why Are They Still Here?"

The divide began quickly.

For every one person who stepped outside and looked up at the night sky with new eyes, there was another who locked their doors tighter and bought more crosses, more salt, more bullets.

Tokyo – A Public Square

"I saw them with my own eyes," one man said into a reporter’s mic, holding a little girl’s hand. "That vampire carried my daughter out of the fire. He didn’t ask for thanks. He just vanished."

Across from him, another voice shouted, "And how many daughters didn’t make it, huh?! You want to just forget that?"

The crowd roared both in agreent and fury.

"We should be working with them!" soone yelled.

"They’re monsters!" another scread back.

A line of police separated the two sides before fists could fly.

Paris – Morning News Broadcast

A calm anchor in a sleek gray suit tried to hold his composure.

"...and in today’s segnt, we turn to newly appointed supernatural liaison, Ambassador Jules Kagan, to explain how the new council will operate."

Jules, older, glasses slipping slightly, looked into the cara.

"We’re not talking about fiction anymore. This isn’t about fear. We are dealing with cultures—races—that predate our records. The goal isn’t control. It’s coexistence. Mutual understanding."

The anchor nodded slowly.

"And if understanding fails?"

Jules didn’t flinch.

"...then we do what we’ve always done. We adapt."

New York – Public Protest at Grand Central

Dozens of people stood holding signs:

"WE NEVER VOTED FOR THIS!"

"NO FANGS IN OFFICE!"

"HUMAN FIRST!"

Chants echoed through the station.

"No blood! No deal!"

"No blood! No deal!"

Amid them, a young woman with a hoodie pulled tight fild herself live:

"I’m telling you, they’re getting away with everything. That Remu girl? She opened the Rift and now they’re trying to make her a victim? I’m done pretending they’re the sa as us."

Behind her, a fire lit up one of the signs. Police moved in.

Berlin – Interview on State Radio

"...but do you trust them?" the host asked.

A soft voice answered, "I trust what I saw. My unit was trapped. Then this kitsune woman appeared. She didn’t talk. She just moved—like wind. And the monsters chasing us? Gone."

"You’re saying she saved you?"

"She saved all of us."

"But she’s not human."

"No," the voice said. "She was sothing else. But that night... she was hope."

Sowhere in a Shadowed Room – Digital Broadcast Begins

The screen flickered to life.

A voice distorted beyond recognition rang out through a hacked livestream viewed by hundreds of thousands.

"While the world sleeps under silver-tongued lies, we rember the blood. We rember the screams."

Images played: cities burning, the rift opening, monster claws dragging civilians into black.

"They call it peace. We call it surrender."

The screen shifted again.

"The Resistance is forming. Not to hate. But to protect. Humanity must stand for itself again."

The feed cut off instantly.

anwhile – In a Small Café in Ro

People huddled around a TV screen as a woman spoke emotionally to a live interviewer.

"My sister is a witch," she said. "She’s always been scared to tell us. But after the summit, she told everything. I cried. Not because I was afraid... but because I didn’t want her to be afraid anymore."

The man beside her wiped his eyes.

"She saved our family from that thing during the breach. And we didn’t even know."

Inside a Private Office – Geneva

Fowler leaned against a window, watching clouds roll across the city.

Zane stood beside him, hands still in his coat pockets.

"They’re not taking it well," Fowler muttered.

Zane smirked. "They never do."

Fowler turned toward him. "You think Lucifer expected this much backlash?"

Zane laughed. "Lucifer doesn’t care about backlash. You’re lucky he didn’t tear the roof off during that summit."

Fowler sighed. "He drew a line."

Zane nodded slowly. "And the world felt it."

Elsewhere – Underground Resistance HQ

The sa man who swore revenge now stood at a chalkboard covered in maps and tilines.

Around him, a few others gathered.

"We can’t outmatch them in strength," he said. "But we can outsmart them. Exploit their weaknesses."

He circled a na—Eclipse Surge.

"So of them aren’t invincible. We just need to know how they bleed."

A younger woman, arms crossed, frowned. "And if we fail?"

He looked her dead in the eyes.

"Then we make sure the world rembers we tried."

Lucifer’s Apartnt – Later That Night

The curtains were drawn. The city glowed beyond the balcony in orange and blue.

Lucifer sat quietly, the TV off, his coat slung over a chair.

Francisca entered the room with two cups of coffee. She placed one on the table near him.

He didn’t take it.

"Do you hear them?" she asked, eyes half-lidded.

Lucifer didn’t look up. "Yeah."

"The yelling. The protests. The fear."

He finally looked at her. "I’ve heard worse."

Francisca sat beside him.

"...Do you regret coming out in the open?"

Lucifer shook his head. "They needed to see us. All of us."

Francisca studied his face.

"They’re forming sothing. A group."

"I know."

"You’re not going to stop them?"

Lucifer leaned back.

"...Not yet."

She frowned. "Why?"

"Because right now, they’re just angry. And angry people need soone to bla."

Francisca took a long sip.

"And when they stop being angry?"

Lucifer’s eyes narrowed.

"Then we’ll see who they beco."

Global News Flash – Breaking Coverage

"Reports of minor attacks against supernatural-owned businesses have been confird in at least six countries."

"The Council has issued its first statent urging calm and cooperation."

"Lucifer Origin remains unreachable."

"Support rallies have sprung up in Canada, Nigeria, and Sweden... while anti-supernatural factions grow more vocal in parts of the U.S. and Russia."

A Young Boy – On His Phone – In His Room

He rewatched the summit clip again.

The mont Lucifer walked in.

The way everyone went quiet.

He stared at the screen like it was a glimpse into a world he didn’t understand—but desperately wanted to.

He whispered to himself:

"...I wanna be like him."
