Tower – Floor 15: Boss Battle

The floor cracked open like a dropped mirror.

Stone ruptured. Pillars collapsed. A deafening tremor split through the air as Lucifer and the beast collided—raw force against force.

Lucifer’s feet skidded backward.

The beast didn’t move an inch.

Its silver eyes locked on him with no expression—no rage, no instinct, just cold precision.

Lucifer swung the scythe straight up, aiming for the throat.

The beast snapped its jaw.

The scythe stopped mid-arc—caught between jagged fangs.

It yanked.

Lucifer let go, flipped mid-air, and shot a wave of blood blades from his palm.

The beast twisted its body—scaled tendrils unfurled from its back like tails. They whipped forward and shattered the incoming blades mid-flight.

Lucifer landed hard and called the blood back.

It obeyed, ford twin swords in both hands.

He dashed.

The air cracked behind him.

The mont he closed in, the beast roared.

Not sound. Not voice.

Power.

A pulse that slamd into his chest like a wall of gravity.

Lucifer coughed blood and flew back, tumbling end over end before planting his feet with a skid.

His arms were numb.

The swords vanished.

He clenched his fists—blood flooded back to reinforce his bones.

Then he dashed again.

Faster this ti.

He blinked left, blinked right, feinted high, then slashed low.

The beast dodged.

Its movents were wrong—too fluid for sothing so big. Almost like it was sliding across the floor.

Lucifer spun mid-strike, flipped upside down, and drove a crimson spike from his heel straight into its side.

Hit.

Barely.

The beast growled—its tail lashed out, wide as a tree trunk.

Lucifer blocked with both arms.

Crack.

His guard shattered.

He was flung like a ragdoll.

He hit the wall back-first and bounced.

Blood leaked from his lip.

His aura was already flaring to keep up.

He stood slow.

"This thing..." he muttered, spitting red onto the floor, "is built different."

The beast crouched low—then vanished.

Lucifer’s eyes widened.

Too fast.

Behind.

He turned—

—but not in ti.

Claws raked his side—dug deep.

Blood sprayed across the air in wide arcs.

Lucifer roared, spun with a wide slash, and forced the beast back—but only a step.

He followed up, no ti to breathe.

His arms flared red—blood armored his fists.

He threw punches.

Fast.

Vicious.

Every hit detonated like cannon fire.

Left.

Right.

Uppercut.

Back elbow.

Knee to chest.

The beast blocked most of them—but still slid back.

Lucifer dropped, swept the legs, then fired a barrage of spears point-blank into its exposed chest.

Three landed.

The beast stumbled.

Lucifer grinned.

Until the beast flared its aura.

Everything slowed.

Not ti.

Pressure.

Lucifer couldn’t move.

His body strained like he was trapped underwater.

The beast stood—no wounds. The spears had vanished. Burned off.

Then it opened its mouth.

A black fla surged out.

Not heat.

Void.

Lucifer moved at the last second—barely.

The fla missed—but the wall behind him lted.

Stone dissolved into ash.

He blinked again—two steps sideways, then ford a circular glyph beneath him.

Blood Array: Anchor Field.

Gravity normalized.

His body responded again.

He dashed forward, drawing a blade mid-run.

No ti for build-up.

He slashed at the legs—aiming tendons.

The beast reacted—spinning with its tail like a mace.

Lucifer ducked, slid beneath, and carved a rune into the floor as he passed.

The rune detonated behind him—exploding in a chain that launched the beast mid-step.

Lucifer used the air shock to follow.

He jumped—above it.

Then summoned the scythe again.

This ti bigger.

Twice his height. Crimson. Boiling with cursed blood.

He spun once, then dropped it down with both arms like a guillotine.

It landed square in the beast’s back.

The floor cracked again.

The beast roared—voice shattering the air.

But it didn’t fall.

It twisted up and slamd its head backward.

Headbutt.

Lucifer’s vision blurred.

His nose broke.

He flipped back, rolled across the ground, blood trailing behind.

He stood, just barely.

Wiped his face with the back of his hand.

Then laughed.

"...You almost made blackout."

The beast blinked.

Then dashed.

It bit.

Lucifer grabbed the jaws mid-snap.

Held them.

They closed slowly.

Blood ran down his arms.

But he held.

Then kicked.

Once.

Twice.

Third ti—it cracked the beast’s ribs.

It let go.

Lucifer flipped back, inhaled, then roared.

The ground under him pulsed—blood erupted in jagged shapes across the floor.

He didn’t command them.

They ford like instinct.

His Living Blood had evolved again.

It took shape on its own—a wall of spinning daggers, all aid at the beast.

The beast snarled, lowered its body, and charged straight through them.

Daggers hit flesh—but didn’t slow it.

Lucifer crouched, hands low.

Then blinked forward just as the beast lunged.

He was under it.

He drove his palm up into the chest.

Then opened his fingers.

"Bloom."

A massive spike of blood burst out the beast’s back—twisted like a drill.

It scread.

Lucifer followed up—slam after slam of echo-punches into the side, powered by his blood gauntlets.

But the beast kicked him.

Once.

Hard.

It broke ribs.

Lucifer flew sideways.

His body tumbled.

He hit the throne.

It cracked.

He didn’t get up.

The beast limped, breathing heavy.

It was wounded—but not done.

Lucifer coughed.

Blood gushed from his mouth.

He grinned anyway.

"...Still not done?"

He rose, slow.

Hands shaking.

Then stood tall.

His aura began to surge again.

Not just his own.

The blood around the room—his blood—began to throb.

Red filled the space.

He lifted one arm.

And all the blood responded.

It circled him.

Hundreds of blades.

Daggers.

Chains.

Spikes.

Even wings.

He looked at the beast.

It stared back.

The room began to tremble.

Then both charged.

Lucifer with everything he had left.

The beast with fury in its bones.

Their clash broke the floor again.

And the fight...

was far from over.
