The ground cracked beneath Lucifer’s boots as he walked forward, slow and smooth, toward the growing swarm of vampires and werewolves. His hands stayed in his pockets, head slightly tilted, gold eyes shining under the moon’s broken light.

Behind him, chaos reigned.

Blades clashed. Magic ripped the air. Blood painted the pavent in streaks and pools. But Lucifer... he barely looked around.

He stopped in the center of it all.

Alone.

The Elders noticed first. The Ogas didn’t care. They were rage in fur and muscle. They saw one man standing still and went for the throat.

The first one ca in low, claws dragging through the ground like plows. Huge. Black fur, thick shoulders. Drool dripping from razor teeth. It launched.

Lucifer didn’t move.

BOOM.

The wolf’s claw missed. A golden flash of energy erupted from Lucifer’s foot, launching the beast backward mid-pounce. The Oga skipped across the ground like a flat rock on water, leaving cracked lines with every bounce.

Another Oga leapt from the side—white fur, runes burning on its chest.

Lucifer raised a single finger.

DING.

The sound hit. Faint. Like a bell in the distance.

Lucifer blinked.

The white-furred Oga reached him—claws out, ready to rip.

And then—WHAM.

Lucifer’s knee ca up fast, right into the wolf’s stomach. Ti felt like it slowed. The force bent the creature’s body in half, eyes bulging, breath escaping in one loud huff. It flew backward like a missile, smashing through two vampire elders behind it.

But Lucifer still hadn’t taken his hands out of his pockets.

And then it happened again.

DING.

A second bell. Slightly louder.

He smiled.

A vampire Elder, floating above the field with a bone-blade glowing death-black, scread sothing in an old language and pointed his sword.

Magic lit the sky. Purple runes. Cracks in the air.

Lucifer looked up—calm. Then his feet shifted. Just barely. A slide of toes against broken pavent.

He vanished.

The Elder blinked—confused—

Then—CRACK.

Lucifer reappeared right above him. One hand out now. A slap.

Yes. A slap.

He backhanded the Elder from midair like swatting a fly. The vampire spiraled down like a cot, crashing into the ground, coughing blood.

Lucifer landed softly after, brushing off his coat sleeve with two fingers.

"You guys are loud," he muttered.

An Oga with glowing red eyes tried to grab him from behind.

Too slow.

Lucifer ducked low, spun, and kicked upward.

BOOM.

The wolf’s head snapped back. Not broken—just dazed. Lucifer didn’t press. He twisted mid-spin and drove an elbow into the side of the beast’s ribs.

Ribs cracked. The creature dropped to its knees.

Lucifer walked past him, ignoring the groans.

Then ca the trio of vampire Elders.

One from the left, holding chained sickles. One from the front, blade covered in frost. The last from above, hands glowing with necrotic energy.

Lucifer didn’t blink. He was in the middle of their triangle.

DING.

That sound again. Clearer this ti.

His grin widened.

The sickle-wielder moved first—spinning the chain, launching it low.

Lucifer stepped aside once. The chain hit empty air.

The frost blade ca next—aid for the neck.

Lucifer raised two fingers and tapped the side of the blade.

TINK.

A small spark. Then the blade shattered into icy dust.

The one above scread and dropped with both hands glowing black.

Lucifer didn’t dodge.

He caught both wrists. Tight.

The Elder looked stunned. "W-what—"

Lucifer pulled him down and headbutted him. Once.

CRACK.

The Elder’s nose exploded in blood. Then Lucifer tossed him—over his shoulder—into a wrecked car. tal folded inward.

But he didn’t kill any of them. Not yet.

"Y’all ca all this way," he said casually, eyes flashing. "Might as well enjoy it."

One of the Oga-class werewolves let out a furious howl and charged.

Lucifer faced him full-on. No movent.

At the last second, he stepped forward and shoulder-checked the beast.

It was like watching a mountain slam into a wall.

BOOM.

The wolf flew back again—less like it was hit and more like it had run into sothing bigger than itself.

Lucifer rolled his neck.

DING.

Again. Louder. Like it was right behind his ear now.

He tilted his head. "That sound..."

He closed his eyes for a mont.

DING. DING. DING.

Three in a row. Like a level-up sound in so old video ga. He chuckled under his breath.

Then he moved.

This ti it wasn’t slow. It wasn’t casual.

He blurred.

He appeared beside the sickle-vampire, slamd an elbow into their chest.

The body crumpled, flew back ten feet.

Lucifer spun, kicked the frost-blade Elder in the chin before they could recover. The vampire flew into the side of a truck—crash—tal bent.

An Oga ca from the right. Huge, brown fur, glowing scars all over.

Lucifer ducked under a swipe and punched upward.

Golden energy burst from his fist.

The Oga’s body lifted from the ground, eyes rolling back.

Still not dead.

Lucifer let him hit the dirt.

He turned as three more enemies ca from the shadows.

An Elder with tattoos glowing red, screaming out ancient curses.

Lucifer sighed. Then threw a punch—without touching.

The air cracked.

A line of golden force slamd into the Elder like a wave.

He hit the back wall of a shattered building.

Lucifer’s aura started to rise.

Just a little.

Like soone turning up the heat dial on a stove.

Everything got... heavier.

The werewolves began to hesitate.

The vampires floated higher—less sure now.

Lucifer looked around. Eyes glowing hotter. The smirk stayed.

"Co on," he said. "You were louder a second ago."

DING.

He twitched. Laughed to himself.

"I really like that sound."

Suddenly—two Ogas charged together. Coordinated this ti. One low, one high.

Lucifer took a breath.

He moved.

Stepped between them.

Two fists. One to the gut. One to the chin.

Both wolves stopped moving.

Dropped like puppets with cut strings.

Still breathing.

Lucifer crouched next to one, tapped its head lightly. "Stay down."

Then ca a vampire with a giant curved blade. Fast. Faster than the rest.

Lucifer blocked the slash with his forearm.

The blade bounced.

"Nice one," he said.

Then kicked the vampire’s leg out and sent him crashing down in a heap.

A second later, two more Elders launched spells—black fire and screaming skulls.

Lucifer raised his hand. A thin, circular glyph ford—a magic barrier.

The spells hit it—fizzled out.

He stepped forward, reached out, and flicked one of the Elders in the forehead.

The vampire dropped. Out cold.

The other raised his hands to surrender.

Lucifer looked him over.

"You’re good."

The Elder vanished—ran.

Lucifer let him.

Then he looked around again.

Most of the enemies were on the ground now. Groaning. Bleeding. Conscious, but wrecked. The rest?

Running.

Only a few still stood.

Lucifer cracked his neck.

"Not bad," he said, voice calm. "Still breathing. That’s progress."

Behind him, Anita landed next to a pile of corpses, grinning. "You soft now?"

Lucifer raised a brow. "You know ."

She smirked. "Yeah. You like to save dessert for last."

Lucifer turned to the battlefield again.

One last Elder stood at the far end—tattered robe, twin blades, shaking just a little.

Lucifer pointed at him.

"Go."

The Elder didn’t wait. He vanished.

Lucifer exhaled slowly. Hands slid back into his pockets.

DING.

One final chi. Faint. Then silence.

He stood alone in the middle of fallen monsters. Blood on the ground. Smoke in the air.

He didn’t even look tired.

"Alright," he said. "Now I’m ward up."
