The sky split with magic.

Remu’s voice echoed through the air as her arm carved a glowing rune midair—fiery and jagged. She slamd it forward.

"Orvus Kael."

A lance of violet lightning exploded from her palm, ripping through the battlefield. The ground shattered. Trees in the distance vaporized. The air scread.

Angel dove first, flas bursting off her fur as she shifted mid-air, claws glowing blue. She curved around the bolt, hit the ground running, and tackled Remu just as the second spell ford.

CRACK!

Remu flipped, landed in a crouch, and fired a pulse-blast from her palm—Angel was thrown backward, crashing into a crumbled wall with force that left a crater.

Mob dropped from the sky. White wings flared, catching the light. His blade of light humd as it clashed with Remu’s summoned shield, sparks flying. He twisted, swept her legs.

She vanished.

Flash step.

She reappeared behind him, hand out. Magic twisted into a claw shape. Mob spun—just in ti. His wing folded up, blocking the hit, and sent him skidding back.

Francisca raised both hands. Her three tails lit up.

"Kitsune Art: Starfire Chains!"

A spiral of blue fire erupted from her hands, forming ethereal chains that shot across the battlefield, wrapping around Remu’s legs and wrists mid-movent.

SNAP!

The chains locked tight. Remu scread. Her body flared with mana and detonated the bindings with brute force.

Ken appeared right as the chains broke. Fully transford. His form massive—blue-furred, eyes like frozen fla, claws thick enough to tear steel. He grabbed Remu by the throat and slamd her into the dirt.

BOOM!

The ground cratered.

Remu roared. Her eyes flared red with burning glyphs.

"Vorok Ashei!"

A ring of black fire exploded outward. Ken was thrown back, smoking, his fur scorched.

Angel reappeared instantly. She’d circled left—pure speed—and crashed into Remu from the side.

Remu caught her.

Midair.

With one hand.

Angel’s eyes widened—Remu flung her like a ragdoll into Mob, who barely caught her with his wings before they both tumbled.

Francisca moved again.

"Kitsune Art: Mirror Step."

She vanished. Split into six glowing afterimages—each one casting fireballs that converged in a tight pattern around Remu.

Remu raised both arms.

"Nullis Kaela!"

A black sphere ford in front of her. It pulsed once. Then sucked in all the fireballs.

The explosion backfired and blasted outward, hurling Francisca and her copies like leaves in the wind.

Remu floated higher now. Blood dripped from her mouth. Her cloak in tatters. Her aura burned like wildfire.

They were pushing her.

But she was still holding the line.

The other side of the field—

Balgron charged. Each step shook the ground like thunder. Greta raised a wall of light in his path, but he plowed through it like cardboard.

Fowler moved.

His blade t Balgron’s fist mid-swing, holy sparks flying. Fowler skidded back but stayed standing, blood running down his jaw.

Selene shrieked. Her form split again into three identical clones—each with a different screaming face.

Boris roared back, taller than a car in his true beast form. He leapt on one Selene, ripping her apart with both claws. Another one appeared behind him—bit his neck.

Greta’s voice cut through it all.

"Gravemind Seal: Ashen Wreath."

A spell circle burst open under Selene’s feet. Chains of golden light surged upward and crushed her body into the ground. The ground smoked where she landed.

Vladimir was everywhere. Red blur. Fangs flashing. His rapier stabbed into Balgron’s side—again and again—each strike laced with cursed sigils.

Balgron howled. His tail lashed out and cracked the ground open.

The leaders held the line.

But barely.

Back to Remu.

She floated like a demon goddess. Her hands spun in rapid gestures—three layers of circles spiraling around her. Energy twisted the air.

"Omni-Circle Incantation—Keltra."

A dozen black tendrils of raw magic shot out in all directions. One grazed Mob’s wing—sliced it. He cried out, spiraled. Francisca caught him in midair, barely.

Ken leapt over a tendril, claws glowing.

"Oga Form: Limit Surge!"

His entire body surged with power—like lightning caged in a beast’s skin. He hit Remu like a freight train, claws slashing, jaws snapping.

Remu scread, cast Shield of Thorns. Spikes burst out—impaled Ken through the shoulder.

He roared and ripped them out with his bare hand.

Angel was already there.

Eyes glowing. Flas trailing behind her like wings of blue fire.

She ducked under Remu’s spell and bit her arm—hard. Bone crunched. Remu cried out and slamd her elbow into Angel’s head, flinging her away.

Ella watched it all.

Quiet. Calm.

Then she vanished.

Reappeared behind Remu.

Blade drawn.

She didn’t say a word.

She stabbed Remu straight through the gut.

"AGHHHHHH!"

Remu choked. Her eyes widened. Her hand reached down—grabbed the blade.

Blood soaked her hands.

She ripped the sword out and blasted Ella point-blank with a fire rune.

Ella hit the ground hard, but rolled, ca up coughing.

Mob flew overhead, one wing trailing blood. He dropped another blast of holy light.

Remu raised both arms—

"Void Spiral—TIER 5!"

A black cyclone burst from her palms—it swallowed the holy light, twisted it, and shot it back with ten tis the force.

Mob slamd into the canyon wall.

But he got up.

Blood dripping.

Teeth clenched.

Remu staggered.

Her body shook. One eye twitching.

She was burning too much too fast.

Francisca landed in front of her. Her tails swirled.

"Kitsune Final Art—Fox Heaven Gate."

All three tails flared, casting a massive sigil in the sky.

A giant flaming fox head opened behind her—eyes glowing like suns.

It charged.

Remu raised one hand.

No spell this ti.

Just raw mana.

The fox slamd into her.

BOOOOM!

A column of light erupted upward. Debris flew. The ground cracked wider.

When the smoke cleared—

Remu stood.

Burned.

Bleeding.

Barely breathing.

But standing.

The kids ford up again. Bruised. Bloody.

But alive.

Ken’s chest heaved. Angel wiped blood from her eyes. Mob’s wing hung low. Ella stood with her sword cracked. Francisca’s tails drooped.

Remu looked around.

Her fingers shook.

She was losing.

She knew it.

She looked at them—

Then at Balgron across the field, still battling the elders.

Remu’s mouth curled into a grim smile.

She lifted her hand.

Chanted low.

"Teleport—Phase.."

Bam!!
